Pros: Recording and sending data appears to be working. Cons: After recent update the app sends constant alerts that it is running in the background, which is annoying because I know it is supposed to be running in the background. No more reminder about upcoming scheduled data transfers. There is a yellow banner across the top that tells me to check my internet connection. Thoughts: I don't know who Abbott has working on Merlin, but they need to hire some decent QA testers.

One of the worst apps I've ever dealt with. Constantly having connection issues, whether I'm on WiFi or cellular connection. When recording, i always get the error "symptoms not recorded", despite everything else Bluetooth and WiFi related works. Have tried this on multiple devices with the same result. Have rebooted, uninstalled the app, cleared cache, cleared data, etc., and even reformatted my phone. Same result. Out of each month, I'm lucky to get 10 days of successful recordings out 30 days

This app recently updated on my phone without any notification or permission. When it did so, it changed its icon and deleted itself from my phone's home page. At 69 years old, I opened my phone to find a missing icon on my home page which caused a minor panic trying to figure out which icon was missing out of the many apps I have! This took several stressful minutes. Do the developers of this app really think it was a good idea to place stress on people whose hearts are being monitored???!!!

Before they changed the app from ConfirmRx to MyMerlin, everything was fine. Now I have to charge my phone twice as often because according to my phone this app uses more battery than all of the other apps in my phone combined. I called customer support and the only thing they could recommend was to force close the app in the morning and reopen it in the evening. This app is only supposed to be communicating with my loop recorder for a few minutes each night. It is draining the battery during the day. What is it doing during those times? I can't wait until the battery in my loop recorder runs out so that I can delete this app from my phone.

New update added icons to status bar and lock screen without my permission. They can't be removed. It now also sends a notification every time I access app to tell me that it is running in background. This notification can not be removed or cleared from screen. No longer tells me date when full download will be performed. New home screen is clunky compared to previous version. From a user view point previous version is better. Give it back.

The app is terrible. The worst of the worst. Cheezy at best, like the first app ever invented. After getting a surgical implant, it would be nice to see the data. Heart rates, etc. ANYTHING! There is no feedback for the patient. Only once a month confirmation your data was uploaded. Half the time you have no idea if your even connected. A fitbit app is better than this thing. Terribly disappointed and expected way more after putting me through this physically.

there was actually several problems. I ended up having to get a brand new phone. Even with a brand new phone I have to leave on Bluetooth and location always. I do not have internet at home which this made this little difficult as well. However on the plus side this thing is helping to save my life and it is really cool and intriguing how the technology has come about over the last few years for something like this device and app. Thank you to all that thought about anything to do with this.

I originally gave app a two stars due to my misunderstanding of how it operates. The Confirm implant and this app are not designed to send dangerous heart rhythms to rescue people. It records and sends heart rhythms to your doctor on a daily basis. As long as the app is open when it's scheduled to transmit (2:00am) or when it's booted up the next day, the system is doing it's job. If it spontaneously stops, I simply restart it so it's ready to use of I experience symptoms to send to my doc.

seems it can only connect if on data not Wi-Fi as advertised. Update - the issue with not being able to connect via WiFi was not the app but my ISP. For some reason Suddenlink does not route the connection properly. Any other ISP worked like CenturyLink. Suddenlink worked only when I use VPN to get around their routing. I would like this App better if I could get a little more feedback as to my monitored results other than just the upload was successful.

Seeing that this app is linked and the only communicating device linked to the implanted heart loop recorder and Dr's office... the app shouldn't be so sensitive and crash if we set our phone font size to medium or large font. This is ridiculous... you have the technology to control and report symptoms via your personal cell phone but can only do this in tiny font. Pretty sure a coder could figure this out in a couple hours max. I just had this implanted only to find out your app is archaic.

The ap was fine until the recent update. Now I have to open it at night and force it to close every morning or it will drain my battery. I have call and spoken to 3 different people and no answers. I used to be able to just sit the phone on my night stand and it downloaded the information and it closed on it's own. Now it sucks. I have an android S9. We tried to reinstall it too and no luck. I hope they find a solution because this shouldn't be the way it works. I think the update messed it up.

Really frustrated! Went to go record heart "problem/issue" I was having only to find out that I had to reset up my entire 'account". Once I reset up my account and was logged back on... its seems there is NO history saved or available. I have a samsung galaxy note 9. Why wasn't there an alert? or something to let me know. Even more frustrating is that no support is available on a Friday Night... I have to wait until Monday! Not good.

It won't stop sending app messages. Before the upgrade there was a reminder to ensure app was running in background on my Note 10. Now, that darn notice is constantly pinging my phone. I know it needs to run in the background so why the constant message? I loved this app before the change but now I am very irritated

The app doesn't connect to my loop recorder.... been happening for 2 weeks now. I called tech support and they couldn't help me resolve the issue so now I feel like it's pointless to have the recorder! Drains my battery fast as well. NOT happy with this whole you need an app for the loop recorder.

This app, V1.0.3 does not Auto transmit data from my Samsung S7 (Android 8.0). The error ' Problem sending data because network was unavailable ' is displayed in the morning. Pressing 'Send Data Now ' will send the data as confirmed by Device Tech Support. All required app and phone services are enabled. Other phone apps requiring network work correctly from this same location. Reinstalling the app with Tech Support did not fix the problem.

when you have an episode at 1PM and your reader isn't looked at until 2am the next morning does no good. the OTHER selection doesn't give you the ability to input any information. when I first had it installed nobody seemed to know how it worked NOT GOOD. having mine removed asap.

I don't like the way it operated. It keeps disconnecting. I have to reset it up. This is a danger for me. How can it produce correct information about my heart. My loop reader is worthless if the app doesn't keep an accurate account.

Interface lacks doesn't accurately reflect if data has been transferred or if unit is connected. Poor user manual states conflicting information (i.e. Android, does WIFI & Bluetooth have to be on all the time?). Why can you not force a Bluetooth connection and force transmissions? Android: You link device to phone at bedtime. Morning turn on data and download to data site (not clinic). The daily transmission from monitor only sends info if there was an event; clinic / Dr. is informed of event

App kept resetting. I had to call to get new authorization code three times in two weeks. Startup screen always the same. No way to know if info was sent. Unable to change phone number to receive text msg.

Works reliably with my Confirm RX (3000), with no bugs or interface confusion. I appreciate being able to use my phone as a transmitter; it makes it easy to be compliant with the use of my loop recorder.

I don't understand why the patient is kept completely out of the loop regarding the data from the loop recorder. Why must the app bypass the patient entirely? It is my personal health information that the app is reading and transmitting, but I am not privvy to any of it. I am glad it says that it is relaying the information to the doctor, but I would also like to know what the data says firsthand.

Yeah wow says my Bluetooth is off and I gotta turn it on. I do. 20 minutes to 2 hours later, says I gotta turn the Bluetooth on. Again I check. And Bluetooth was never off. It's ALWAYS ON. Yeah, I feel safe to use this word to describe this app well...retarded.

Loaded app on my galaxy note 20 5g, running Android 11 and when opened, it just says "check your internet connection " and freezes. I rebooted, reinstalled, every other app sees the internet.

Works well, can be wonky if a strong Internet signal isn't present. Easy to use but doesn't allow notes to be added to events other than what is available in hard coded options.
