MyNavy UNIFORMS
Updated and expanded for 2019, the MyNavy UNIFORMS application provides all Sailors with the necessary information and guidance to properly wear all Navy uniforms, components, and accoutrements.
The app offers information on Navy uniforms from a variety of Department of the Navy sources and organizes it all into one simple, searchable app. Sources include the most recent NAVADMINs, policy updates, FAQs, and illustrations. Future updates of the app will include new policy changes relevant to U.S. Navy uniforms and grooming standards.
The MyNavy UNIFORMS app is divided into the following sections for ease of use:
-- NAVPERS 15665I – This section provides information on the main elements of this NAVPERS, notably Chapter 3, which focuses on male and female officer, chief petty officer, and enlisted uniforms.
-- NAVADMIN Library – This section offers links to a variety of articles and regulations relevant to the proper wear and maintenance of Navy uniforms, including NAVADMINs 75/19, 233/18 and COMUSFLTFORCOM 17 JUL 18, which were implemented since the last release.
-- Uniform Regulations FAQ – This section offers answers to common questions Sailors ask regarding uniform wear and grooming requirements.
-- Feedback – This section provides a mechanism for asking questions and providing comments regarding the app, uniform regulations, etc.
-- The app also includes sections detailing Emergency resources, as well as a Favorites section, which allows users to bookmark and easily access parts of the app they find personally important.
The app includes a gallery of helpful uniform instructions and images to illustrate proper wear and care of WORKING, SERVICE, DRESS, and FORMAL Navy uniforms. In fact, the app includes information on all basic, prescribed, and optional authorized uniform components and accoutrements.

This app is helpful for all the basic stuff, but if you need to access the specialty information on rate, service, and merit insignias that is on the website, the app-to-browser transfer does not work. The screen stays stuck on loading and never progresses. If these websites are only accessible via a computer, WHY EVEN MAKE IT AN OPTION TO CLICK ON A PHONE APP?
I noticed the negative reviews some left because they could not get past the disclaimer page. After I scrolled down through the disclaimer the "Accept" button appeared. Once inside the app, I loved how easy it was to find what I was looking for. Thank you for the time and effort you put into this app.
App needs to be updated for the new PTU, new pictures for the Dress Uniforms, and it doesn't mention the tan fleece at all. Some people have the tan fleece and it makes sense to wear the tan fleece with coyote boots but in fact only some command can wear the tan fleece. Please mentiom that on the uniform app.
After waiting more than 10 minutes for the app to load, I'm still stuck on the loading screen. Wish I could get pass just that. I tried with great internet access (wifi and phone data) without success.
Does not work. Freezes at the disclaimer page and never opens. Have uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times. Tried on WiFi and not, doesn't matter, never works.
It hangs on the disclaimer. There is no option to "accept" and go past this page. Nothing happens. Update: It took an hour but it finally worked. The "accept" popped up in the top right corner.
The disclaimer page takes a few minutes to load (additional content download period), but after that the app performs as expected and has everything presented in a nice categorized order for easy searches. Even includes grooming standard references and direction.
Outdated. Unfortunately the last update was in 2019. Highly recommend this app also be designed to work offline without constant internet connection.
Garbage and Lazy. What happens when your underway or inside the skin of the ship? Needs internet access to work. It's last because instead of including all we need to know in the app, it pushes to a website. Just like the other apps from this company. Lazy.
As a navy exchange uniform department employee, using this uniform app is very helpful. However we no longer have access to the uniform matters website?, And that is not good. Please advise how we can connect to it
Fix the damn app Navy. You tell Sailors to use your apps and then you provide something that is broken? it doesn't load on many phones. I see why so many Sailors, Officers included, can't wear their uniform correctly now.
I want to like this app but simply put there are other apps out there that give you the same or better info without crashing every 2 min or taking forever to load...
Downloaded and won't open. It errors out every time, even when connected to WIFI.
If I could give no stars I would. The app will not function. Will not finish updating and the app is unusable
The app never loads always get stuck on a loading screen then freezes and then crashes.
The disclaimer page will not bring up the accept button at the top right corner, it continues to try loading for hours.
Will not update, always get bad request when trying to. Internet connection required to use, need it to work offline.
Need to be updated to reflect new website. Npc is no longer and needs to be redirected to myNavyHR.
Downloaded and installed fine on my Samsung Galaxy s8+. Has all the latest uniform updates to keep you on top of your game.

App wont open on my LG K20. Stops working during the disclaimer or crashes all together.

Downloaded this to try to look up regs for sunglasses. The in-app search results had 0 results for the words 'sunglasses' and 'glasses'

Downloaded just fine. The confusion might be that it downloads twice. Once from the app store and the second time to download content in the app which takes awhile and at times looks like it has paused. Great resource for uniform matters and an easy quick reference. It also includes all uniforms, not just Type III's like earlier reviews said.
