I was not able to read both front and back of check from the pictures. The app seemed to have a problem. Tellers have said other customers have a difficult time trying to mobile deposit checks, also. It certainly hasn't improved. 3/17/21: Mobile deposit has improved. It also helps to have plenty of light and to use black ink.
Worst banking app I've ever used. I have an auto loan with OneAZ and making payments is a nightmare. There is a big "payment" button but you're crazy if you think that's how to make a payment. For my external checking account I have to navigate way too many pages away to a menu that is meant to make changes to an account. Want to pay with a debit card? I hope you have it memorized cuz you'll be retyping it every month. Who did you pay to design this app cuz you should get your money back, OneAz!
Love this app its very convenient and makes my life so much better. Recently had my entire purse stolen and they were all helpful. It was nice being able to access the live chat and have the numbers on file to get everything straightened away. Suzy was a super helpful in replacing my stolen card. Thank you so much! Only thing I could ask for would be small improvements like having the option to view when or if my card was declined. And time stamps on all transactions.
This app is awful! It takes longer to get a check deposited using this app than it would take me to drive to the credit union. The auto-photo function takes the picture before it's centered, thus requiring several shots before getting a decent one. After having the same check (an income tax refund check) rejected twice for not being endorsed on the back, when it was properly endorsed by myself and my wife, I once again had to drive to the credit union to deposit it. My rating is now 1 star.
It is pretty poor programming. Every single time you go to take a pic, it is screwed up and you have to exit to do it again. It doesn't use the full screen. It captures the check in 1/2 the screen. Then the review doesn't allow zoom so who the hell knows if you can see it clearly! It is on a phone with a postage stamp size image.
I always have trouble with mobile check deposits, no matter how clear the photo is. Today it logged me out while trying to make a deposit for the reason of "inactivity" even though I had just logged in one minute before. The deposits usually go through after several tries, which is better than having to drive to an atm, but the app overall needs improvement.
I'm happy to have the ability to deposit checks online. The feature that automatically captures the check is great. However, every single time I submit a check it warns me that "the check must be payable to signer..." and "signature must include" specific language. Then I have to review the pictures and resubmit. Thing is, it has me doing this extra two steps even though I'm well aware of these requirements and have ensured their fulfillment.
The app is very convenient and even lets you deposit checks directly from your phone. The only drawback is it periodically gives error "no accounts available" and am unable to view my balances for several hours which is a hassle if it happens at just the wrong moment, when I really need to know if I have enough money for a purchase. That's the only reason I rate it less than 5 stars. The rest of the time it's great.
This app has done everything it advertised for a long time but a recent update has made it so I cannot log in. My password is correct and updated per the site but attempts to log in via the app are met with various "temporary password expired" errors. Being unable to log in renders the entire app useless to me at this point and has also made several budgeting apps I use lose functionality as well, as they were linked through the app.
The app is good, but I liked the online check deposit option where I didn't need a smartphone to use online deposit. My smartphone has become a leash. Also, the need to write "mobile deposit..." On check before it's accepted has caused me problems. And once that's written on it, if there are any issues with getting it to go through, you need to go back to the person to have them write you a new check so you can cash it in person.
This is an excellent app, easy to use. Mobile deposits feature is very easy to use, snaps the photo for you. My only comment is, if a check is deposited, and a pirtion placed on hold, it should show you what amount was released, and when the balace will be made available. This would be VERY helpful.
cannot send from my house, app doesn't save images so it has to be redone if it doesn't send. extended send tme even with 3 bars, didn't read the amount on check correctly the first time. other than that *such* an improvement. thanks lot for making a simple transaction more complicated and frustrating.
I thinks it's pretty good for a small organization. The banking aspects function well. The design aspect leaves a lot to be desired, as does the credit card menu (not sized for mobile use.) Could be polished up but it's fine for general use!
This app was GREAT...until they did the update over Labor Day weekend. Now when things are pending post they do not show you them. Also, when you know an ATM withdrawal happened on one day in the morning, it shows in your bank statement as the NEXT day. It used to be accurate, show you everything that was pending so if you forgot a receipt, you could still keep the check book accurate. Please go back to the way it used to be! It made online baking so easy!
It's quite useful, and certainly easier to use than calling the credit union and spending 45 minutes on hold. Earlier, I disparaged how quickly transfers happened with the app. I just realized I had my cards/institutions mixed up - transfers with this app occur quickly and smoothly.
The OneAZCU app is great it works very well and are able to a lot of stuff without lag or a lot of buffering, I really like the fact that I can transfer money to one of my other accounts if I cant get to the bank that day. But the only other thing that I don't like is that I can't customize which accounts show up fist on the list of accounts that I gave but other wise the app is great.
They've released a new app. This one no longer works. To anyone experiencing login issues, go download the new app and delete this old one. That said: Bad move on OneAZ to do this without much communication..... Perhaps they notified us, but in a place we didn't see? Regardless.
This app now takes pictures automatically! Not cool, as I'm sitting here in my boxers at home and it's snapping pics before I even had the camera focussed. Coupled with the recent monthly rate hikes, conditions for not being charged these fees, and no explanation as to why my recent loan application was senied, my enthusiasm for OneAz is at an all time low.
App is intuitive and works well. Dropped one star because of the incredibly loud mandatory shutter sound when doing mobile deposits. I've shut audio off completely on my phone, and it still makes the crazy loud noise.
Horrible!! Time-consuming and frustrating. I spent TWO HOURS trying to make one simple deposit. Please lose this abomination and go back to the previous scan-based system that worked perfectly.
Would give 0 stars if possible. The worst banking app there is. Don't bother trying to deposit a check on mobile, the camera is always flipped and if it isn't right after you take the picture it closes the app and you have to try again. Takes me a min of 20 tries to finally get it to work. Horrible app. Please fix it!
The app is super easy to use once in and I like all the accounts all in one view. I just don't like that they don't support facial recognition sign on for the Google Pixel and I have up sign in with a password.
Great, except depositing checks is always a pain. I have to retake pictures a bunch of times before they'll go through. Sometimes they never will, and since I live two hours away from the nearest branch this is a big inconvenience.
Oneaz has the worst mobile app of any bank I've been with. Balances and transactions are not updated quickly, and I've been assessed overdraft fees before a transaction even shows up. I'm pretty sure that they do this to increase their overdraft fee revenue.
Taking pictures of the check works well. Only issue is the time that it takes to think about whether it is a success or not after I hit the deposit button. Otherwise, very pleased with the app.
Just an Ok, app. The ability to paste bill pay amount is sorely lacking. I need to frequently switch between email and app to enter amount. Redesign did not address shortcomings, only changed look.
Very handy when I just need to check balances, or transfer in a quick pinch. Thank you for making it easy to be professional, and easy to use your app as well as your services
App works great. All except for mobile deposit. It works, but when you are trying to take images of the check it can be frustrating. It auto takes pictures as you are trying to position the camera. Then takes quite a while to try and read it. It is impossible to tell if the picture is blurry because you can't zoom in to check. And it asks if your signature and info on the back of the check are clear but only shows the picture of the front of the check. Just annoying.
