MyPal - unofficial myki balance & top up

never any issues with the app, im sad to hear about ptv making changes to affect the app. it really is convenient for those who cant go to stations or struggle to use website versions. i really enjoy this app and it becomes one of my main apps to download. being a uni student who uses ptv constantly it helps for easy topups. thanks developer/s!

this app was great, unfortunately the company being provided the free service of commission free sales, cleary dceided they prefer being able to issue fines to people who cant use other services provided. similar to how the ticket machines on trams never got replaced with top up machines, despite the fact that access to public transport is considered a right in Victoria

Still relevant in 2021. Love this app as I can quickly view my various myki cards, their travel history and also top them up. Not everyone wants to use myki mobile via Google pay as I prefer using the old fashioned hard cards.

Nice one, Long. Long-time user here, and I've found your app to be brilliant. Sorry to hear myki are trying to shut you down. I think that given they didn't design an app themselves and have the clunkiest of websites, they should - at the very least - be tolerating your app, if not commissioning you. I've just sent them a complaint to that effect. Shame on myki and well done you.

Very, very glad that the developer has kept maintaining app after myki mobile was introduced! While I don't use the app to add funds to my multiple mykis, it is indispensable for keeping an eye on balances.

I've had this app for 2 or more years. Works a charm, no issues and convenient. Top up on the go, easy as.

This is definitely one of the best unofficial myki app that PTV can't roll out at the moment. PTV, please provide something better or at least equally functional & user-friendly app. Perhaps, PTV should consider hiring the developer. Anyway, please keep up the good work... Long Zheng. 🙏

Great app. I dont want to use Google Pay and my phone for a train or tram trip. I like having a card to swipe on and off. Maybe i am old fashioned!!! Anyway please keep supporting this app and providing an alternative! :)

Great application! Unfortunately with Mobile Myki now available, I won't be needing this app, but I would love to say thank you for developing this app, it certainly was great for me to use and I'm sure it will still be great for those not using Mobile Myki. Keep up the great work!

thank god the developer has created this app; simple interface and really appreciate the history log aggregate. helpful for those who catch PT and are far from any top up point and rarely carry cash, particularly bus users PTV should hire this dev basically.

Cleverly designed app, can easily check the balance, trip history, top up the miky card, keep tracks of multiple cards under 1 account. Thank you developer.

This is a great app and does everything that PTV should have provided themselves for managing Myki cards. I certainly hope that the developer doesn't discontinue or abandon this great project.

One of the best designed lightweight apps that does the job so well. Shame on PTV for not recognising the hard work of the developer as well as the true value of this app.

Finally a good app to replace my old one that isnt even on the appstore anymore. 5 stars when i can hide my unused active and inactive cards completely. Thanks.

really simple and great app to check Myki balance before boarding. really sucks that PTV is trying to prevent people from using it.

Fantastic app. Sorry to read the notice about you being forced out by government stuff. They really should work with you because it is such a great app.

Fantastic app, it's a real shame PTV are trying to kill it. It says something about them that one person can do something like this in their spare time, yet they can barely make a functioning website. And to then shut it down! They should be trying to hire the dev!

Slick app that does everything you could want. Shame I didnt find it earlier as know I'll be using my Google Pay to tap on and off - and I dont think I can load that account in here.

I used this app to top up 10$ in my myki card but the money is never been deposit in:( rang my bank to cancel but they said I can't get money back

can't login, keeps saying wrong password while i simultaneously login on website with the same password. wasted a lot of time cos of this bug :/

I have been using this app for quite some time now and it is the easiet one for myki top up compared to the others.

Great app, but I wish I could also top up the Eastlink account like the Pay24 app used to before it was closed
