I shan't be donating for this update, though. I cannot sync with Thunderbird at all. It has been an excellent app - I have donated for the last 2 upgrades. Very well put together, and very effective. I do not want to be synchronised with the cloud - I want to sync in my own room, and this app let's me do it brilliantly. Thank you. One suggestion for further developent would be the easy transfer of notes, calendar and other items from one phone to another, without going via a third party app.

Nice app. Very useful. You can connect your android device to PC. Sync you contacts and notes to MS Outlook. Make full backup in MS Outlook and store separately and multiple copies for future recovery. The new version for Android 10 included notepad within Phone Explorer app unlike old version. Which activating the notepad requires more steps unlike the old version. Note pad is very useful. Sync to PC requires usb driver of specific phone. A bit hassle. But still highly recommended.

Excelent way to Sync your files and folders from your PC and phone if you dont want to use the cloud or cant use the cloud because of internet limitation (working on the field, flying, travelling, etc.). It works seamlessly with outlook contacts, notes and tasks. You can sync via wifi, Bluetooth or USB cable (faster).

Have been using this app for years with Android phone. Just installed the newest version. It provides all you need for integration of your activities on phone and computer. I am very happy with it.

I don't understand why I need wifi to use this when I plug my phone to my PC with a USB. I can't afford to waste my metered bandwidth to connect to my phone. Also, I see it has a 15 minute kill switch that disables the app. I'm uninstalling.

Pretty good but a few issues. Sometimes it doesnt show incoming smses you need to refresh by hand. Android doesn't allow to delete messages and many more. But i like most of it!

Backup your device AND set it to auto trigger file transfers when chosen SSID is connected. Set it up with the help of the excellent guides and you have a turn key solution to mobile device management! The Top App for my backup and sync to PC need.

Gets better with each update. In the past, sometimes connecting via wifi was troublesome but now seems robust. Really like it for privacy vs going through Google or other data mining company.

It's an absolutely phenomenal app, but please, i really hate that when installing, it comes with other independent apps. Can you guys just merge it into one app, it will make the app cleaner and more modern 😁

Unbelievable good! A++. I still can't understand the Outlook plug-in... But... MPE works awesomely 👏. I love being able to glance at and at send messages from my computer. Keep going. -Rommie

This has been my favourite SMS/Calls Backup App, but the latest update (April 2019) is a backward step. It was so much easier to add/change/update Reminders and Tasks, now it's much less intuitive and a lot more hassle. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" really does apply in this situation. Overall a great app, but I have had to reinstall an earlier version to get functionality back.

Love this app. The ability to text from PC is great. This has much more functionality than Microsoft's YourPhone app and syncs more quickly and reliably. Love being able to mirror phone screen on the pc. Wish there was a dark theme for the Windows program, but I'm not going to deduct any stars for that. Also doesn’t play nice with Thunderbird, but that's likely an issue with Thunderbird. Try this. You'll like it!

This is the best. Forget all the rest of them. (I've tried several). This is simply the best. I was crawling with BT, then I figured out how to use its WiFi. Now, all the tons of GB trapped on my phone can be backed up to my PC. My Infinix Zero5 Pro is a black box that doesn't connect to my PC via USB any more. And none of their updates or online support could fix it. Now, with this app I can relax & smile. Thank you.

Does so many things I don't know where to start! You can backup your apps, install apps, add/delete/edit contacts on your phone, backup/read/send sms messages and so much more. You can even get notifications on your PC! It's like magic! Copy files to and from the phone/tablet etc... I wish I found it sooner! Every Android user needs this! I love the peace of mind of knowing I have a backup of my contacts on my PC. Something that is surprisingly hard for Android users for some reason. Now if only I could fully control my phone wirelessly!

UPDATE (4-10-19) I have just discovered that if I try to contact my phone, without starting the app on the phone, the app will auto start on my phone but fails to connect on the first try. I have attempt to connect and it does. I guess it runs in the background. I'm upgrading to 4 stars, but still don't see how to configure connection yet, and no directions or help. ORIGINAL (4-9-19) What has happened to this app? The client won't stay running, closes after 15 minutes, no more connection setup features. After the latest versions (2?) these features went away. They did the update to make in compliant with Google 9. T-Mobile updated my phone to Ver 9 yesterday and it still doesn't work. I managed to stop the automatic update on my tablet to the new ver, but I was too late for my Note8. How to fix this? I'm at a debate about 3 or 4 stars. The app works, just have to manually start it, and I hope I don't have to change my connection settings.

If you need an app to sync your PC to your Outlook contacts, calendar, notes, plus be able to use your desktop to read/write text messages, MPE is AWESOME! Been using for years. This app is is the best I've found for these kinds of needs and you dont need to worry about annoying dependencies on various cloud services with questionable security practices. It just syncs directly between my phone and PC, exactly how I want it to.

Very good. Now with the new SMS scheduler, it's even better. It's so much simpler to schedule an SMS than with the native Samsung SMS. I originally gave it 5 stars but deducted 2 because restoring a contacts backup can be disastrous if not paying attention - there needs to be a warning allowing you to cancel the operation. And unable to delete SMS messages using the PC program. Apart from that, I like it.

I have found myself wrapped into Nova Empire for quite an extensive period of time. For Mobile, I havent played another game that has this LoD. With a system similar to that of EvE online I found it very easy to adapt concepts and to register what was displayed more easily. Total customization of your fleet and limited customization of your station (There are some essential buildings, and then some not so essential) it really makes you feel like you get to play the game how youd want to play, not some singe path story with only 1 way to come to the conclusion. Its not hard to pick up but diving deeper there are layers if you choose to search for them. In the end, I hope you enjoy as much as I am.

I like MPE but for many years, I find it very difficult to gey a stable connection between the phone and the PC. It gets disconnected very frequently and most times when I try to re-connect, it says Connection could not be established and Failed to obtain phone IP address. This is ridiculous because I'm at home most of the time and using the network just besides me.

I've been using this client app to sync contact and cal from outlook for many years without single issue. Now with Android 9. With latest changes, it requires mandatory permission to SMS, phone, call logs? I don't sync these features nor does this app makes call or text? I hope it can run without making it a requirement. Now it also needs non-restricted, background run even when not using the app to sync. I'll be using side sync until it can be changed.

I donated, but the later versions do not know that! 2, the latest version may be an improvement from the frequently crushing or freezing and doubling of contacts in the previous version, but now the message folders (110+MB?!) refreshing step goes on forever, does not complete and the sync process terminates, using Android on my Samsung 8. Why. How? Drop down to 3 stars. Pity, this is more useful than Microsoft's phone companion, but still too many bugs

It is OK but not very. The first problem was the modification of non-Latin symbols - it does not support them. On the computer they come out as nonsense and cannot be read by Unicode etc. When sent back to the phone, they remain nonsense, although they were written on it. Then, the MPE Notes simply disappeared from the screen of my handset. It remains in the share-menu but is nowhere to be found. I think a cloud option is needed but, if the idea is the app to remain free, it is not essential. The synchronization of notes is great!

Hi, I have an Android LG G2 that I have had to factory reset today because of a " android.process.acore has stopped" fault that I could not fix any other way. I used your brilliant program to save all my data before I reset on my phone so the data is in your program. I saved all the contacts, call logs, text messages photo's etc before I did the full factory reset but I did not do a full backup which is not good. I thought that all the data that I had saved would just sync back across.Then I tried to reload all of my data back to the phone. The contact information went back ok but when I went to reload my phone call and text message data there does not seem to be anyway in your program to allow that to happen ? Is there something there that I am missing ? Is there any way that I can transfer the phone call record and text message information back from My Explorer to the mobile phone without losing it or corrupting any of it ? The last backup file that I do have is way back in Oct 2018 which I do not want to use because I believe that loading that file will then over write all the phone and text data that my Explorer now holds ? Please help

So useful and well supported by the developer! I use this app almost every day to sync my PC (Outlook) and phone and it rarely fails me. On the occasions an update has caused a problem I found the developer very responsive, contacted via the dedicated user forum, and the problem was soon identified and fixed. My only criticism would be of Google who seem to be restricting access by apps like this and making life more difficult - so shame on them!

Does not restore apps as claimed. After wiping my phone the app sees the same phone as a new phone or user without being able to restore/ sync the data.

Not sure why an app to send bulk SMS messages is attached to this? Otherwise great app, just needs some modernising on the notes and tasks or merging?
