The app has a convoluted way of authentication and navigation. The PLDT web app account cannot be used interchangeably with the mobile app, forcing you to register a new one just for this. The session expiry and the fingerprint unlock are nice touches, but having to log in and type your password every time the app starts is not. I hope the developers find a better way of using a device's biometrics features. Also, the app feels and looks like it's not released by the largest provider in the PH.

Useless app. Same thing with their website. I was planning to order a postpaid phone on their online store but the website is very erratic. It doesn't tell you what's wrong & how to correct it so you can click "continue". By luck, I was able to proceed on the summary page of my order. Before I was able to submit it, it crashed again. Tried different browsers, still the same. I ended up with Globe. No thanks, Smart!

The app doesn't do much. UI is ok. However, when I tried to visit the store, it took me to the webview. That itself is not the best UX. They put a loading spinner on top of the web view, which is unecessary, you could just let the user browse the page while assets are still downloading in the background. I wanted to apply for fiber so i typed in a lot of info into the form. It took me to a next page, however, I pressed the back button to go back, but it closed the webview instead.

Totally not user-friendly. It says password is invalid when I just set it up a few minutes ago, and saved the password. Took me almost an hour to set up an account, whereas the Globe app is much much easier. Finger print sign in option is not working; it still asks me for the password, which was incorrect according to this great app. Horrible. The internet maybe faster than other network but this experience is just absurd.

Hope that you'll add an SMS/Messaging-like feature on the app - for us not to waste the load that we supposedly may use. It's a hassle to go to it's router website just to send a text. I recommend as well to put "Reboot" option that we can easily access on the application. To add, it's better if the tool won't log out everytime. It has no confidential details to be logged in/logged out frequently. I wish that you'll make an improvement to your app. Thank you.

Annoyed by always getting logged out and needing to do a full login (email address / phone number and password) over and over again everytime I open or switch over to app. Please fix issues and maybe implement an easier/faster, more convenient login option such as PIN entry or biometrics for example like the ones found in other apps? Aside from that, app is actually off to a good start and useful.

The app is very unreliable to say the least. It usually crashes, does not allow you to log in, and send confusing feedback like invalid number. Worst is that the alternative dashboard available online does not show the reel time load balance and only allows you to reload. Users are left with no choice but endure with this poor app. Please provide alternative or improve your app.

The app is a bit slow. Registering requires OTP, however there is a great delay on the SMS that has the OTP. While logged in, you can enable pin or fingerprint signin, however, when you log out, they still ask just for the password. Though I have to admit it's helpful and does it's job. Just the registration and loggin in part that needs to be improved.

This app doesn't offer "real-time usage", just the current add-on info which I am aware of. The text messages you send about this app is misleading, unless you update this app. It's funny too that your contact centre agents can't even see your customers' real-time usage as how it will appear on the billing statement on the cut-off date of the account. I currently have multiple add ons for data use which the app shows, but my "unbilled charges" keep surging! If only I can rate this app 0/0!

Almost perfect. If you can have the option to save the password so we dont have to type in everytime. That would be the best. Why would give an option to setup a pass code if we have to type the password every time we open the app?? This app updates getting worst. Upto 1gb daily videos??? Why not show the used data from 1gb of video? Or better yet combine it with the plan.. If you could only return the double data. That's by far yet the best you had done but you removed it.

Terrible functionality. Everytime my internet is close to expiry, the app couldn't be launched. It returns me with a "Unfortunately, the app crashed" or similar. I have lost plenty of gigabytes trying to save them and extend my plan. I took the option of reporting the app several times but this behavior still isn't fixed. I can't believe the only option to activate a data plan is through this app. If this is PLDT's way of promoting and marketing the app then that's just a flawed strategy.

APP IS ABSOLUTE TRASH. Too bad there aren't any good alternatives. My prepaid internet subscription was about to end and I couldn't renew because the app doesn't work. When I can afford better internet, I'll make sure to smash and set the modem on fire. PLDT has been consistent with its poor service, and with this app, they make availing of their horrible service such a hassle. I spent the last hour of my internet subscription repeatedly opening, logging-in and closing the app to get it to work. What choice did I have? No consumer should have to go through this. If I could give 1/2 of a star, that would be the score I would give.

The app immediately crashed after I set it up. It refuses to launch and just keeps crashing every time I try to open it. It's a shame because the quality of the Internet connection (so far) has been much better than the company's main competitor (Globe), which is terribly slow and unstable. I hope PLDT Smart fix this soon.

Hard to navigate. Can't find payments made on the account. Not seeing what plan you have and what it entails. No consistent and accurate information about plans they have or if it can be upgraded. Can't even check usage. No notification that there are some system issue or maintenance or upgrade what you ever call it.

This app is practically useless. I thought I'd give it a try so I still have access outside of my laptop but I can't even log into my account... An error keeps popping up which makes it IMPOSSIBLE for you to register your subscription details. The app also doesn't retain your log-in information so it's eating up more of the client's time having to log-in repeatedly. Fix this app ASAP if you really want it to be beneficial to your customers.

The app always ask to login your credentials even if you already logged in to it multiple times, there's no options for just a 4 digit pin login. There's no way for the app to keep your login credentials, which is really a drag. Hope you can fix it so that we can easily login and see our remaining data. The last update even shows December 05, 2019? What the heck?!

Useful but could still be improved. The app is sometimes inaccessible mostly during midnight and other times during the day. I hope we can make an alternative, like a website where we can subscribe to promos, check our load balance, etc.. Globe has several apps that does pretty much the same thing but they also have a website version of the app so if there is an ongoing maintenance for the app, the users may simply access the site. Hopefully you would consider my suggestion. Thank you!

This app is good, but could be better if Ican actually control the devices. Like see which devices consume data more and/or block it, even the webapp doesn't have that. I was hoping the app does. Aside from that, all good.. Easy to enroll to promos, though I would love to see more promo options. I hope on the next update, there would be more control for the router.

Lowered it to two stars cause Im kinda running out of patience at this point. The last day, the app wont recognize the number of my unit. Now it keeps on saying "service is unavailabale at the moment" when the connection is alright. And isnt checking your balance the focus of the app? I even restarted my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, tried it on another phone, IT'S NO USE. Even your online load conversion system doesnt work properly. Its buffering and taking so much time to load.

Apps should help us ease log-ins. This just constantly logs you out. It's actually counter intuitive for an app if it works like the site does. Way past that, this app does what is intended, to check balance, registrations, and you can also register to promos using this app. I think the developer just need to understand that a mobile phone is a personal device, it does not necessarily needs to constantly end sessions like using a computer.

They dismantled the feature wherein you could check the remaining data balance on your pldt home prepaid wifi, so we can't check how much data has been used up. There's a data usage summary in the app but it comes in the form of a very confusing graph, and it doesn't give you the details of your actual data left, or how much you've used up in a day.

WORKING WORKAROUND!!! This app was fine before until this "updating" scene came just recently. We can no longer open the app. They will probably retiring this app and replace with GigaLife, still Smart app. Just download and install GigaLife and from there you can do transactions of reloading, promo registration and others. It will also linked automatically to your account, just select PLDT Home Prepaid Wifi then input the sim number. Also, the app has points that you can use to avail promos as well. Hope this helps.

Cannot delete enrolled numbers. Worst case is; if the sim card (lost) is in the wrong hands, they can change the password and have access to your smart account and all the numbers (and information) linked to that smart account. Smart really lives up to its name with very "smart" developers / IT dept. Keep it up smart.

Signing in could be a very annoying exercise. I mean, why put a fingerprint unlock option when it expires in less than 24 hrs? Fingerprint unlock = convenience + security. Making me type my password again and again because the "session has expired" defeats this principle and is literally stupid/exasperating. Also, I don't need a text for every successful login. Hope we were given an option to turn it off. App is nice in all other aspects.
