MyPostcard Greeting Cards

I used to love this to send cards to Germany and the app is very well done. But they charge 2,69€ for a single post card and they try to trick the user into buying credit packages for at least 15€! Only when looking more closely, you realize that a greyed out button allows one time payments without credit package. Do they really have to use such dirty tricks? The app also sends push notifications that you cannot switch off :( Only 3 stars until price/payment and notifications are improved.

I took it upon myself to read some of the reviews but figured I'd give this app a shot despite some of the negatives I saw. I wish I could attach a picture to show my disappointment because the product I got was not the product I paid for. The frame for the picture was not cut evenly and some of the white copyboard used could still be seen on one end. I loved the concept of this app but to screw up the product you're supposed to be good at is embarrassing at best.

Installed the app, paid my money and sent one postcard. Attempted to send another and got a message saying "Transaction failed". Contacted customer services and various solutions were suggested: Install newest version. Turn Flight mode on/off. Uninstall and reinstall. I tried them all. They have £35 of my money which I can't spend. Customer service was swift (via email) but they appear to believe issues are the fault of the customer rather than due to the app or their system. Disappointed.

So far very unimpressed. Downloaded app, added a load of credit to send postcards back home while we are living abroad for a year, sent one postcard and now the app won't let me log in. Have tried the usual clearing app data and cache and reinstalling the app and it is still the same. Now have paid for a load of credit which I can't use. Tried to contact support via the app and even that won't send the support request. Absolutely useless app. Have emailed support to see what their response is.

We love this app to send personalized cards to friends and family all over the world. The regular mail often takes a long time but "MyPostcard" is always quick and reliable. Thank you! Also there are so many beautiful designs to choose from and the print quality is great. :-)

This app is easy and enjoyable to use. I wish we had the option to print out own thought or saying, on the front of the card with the photos or an option to put a little description of each photo, under it.

The process is easy and quite fun. Unfortunately, they appear to be based on Berlin and I just received a foreign transaction fee on top of the cost. *** Update: As of 2/3/22 I'm still unable to get my banks to reverse the foreign transaction fees and I've used 2 different banks now to order these items. They continue to inform me that as long as the transactions are processing through Germany I will continue to accrue these fees. I'm looking into Shutterfly now as a new printer. 😟

2 months later the postcard created stil hasn't arrived. Although the customer support agreed to create and send it a 2nd time. Disappointed going to delete the app. Happy that I just used voucher from Googlw guide here and not ended up paying as that would be really disappointing

I received a free postcard so tested the app. It crashed my tablet the first time i tried it. The second time I tested it was more successful, but I found it slightly clunky. eg zooming in by gestures didn't work. If you hit the back button, it didn't take you back just one step but all the way out. I'm satisfied with the service. The layouts looked clean the colours modern etc. but the app felt like a demo version. It was ok but not amazing.

Have yet to have a bad experience....That was before I had several poor experiences with this app. there is no way to save your work if you are not signed in. I have lost multiple drafts and hours of time because the app crashed in the middle of my work. That said, it is nice to be able to edit your photos from within the app, but not worth it if it crashes on you every time. All of my orders were shipped on time. Would give 1 more star, but so frustrated, I've lost a mother's day card draft 2x

The creative process of the app is great. makes it nice and simple to create and design the ideal post card, along with saving them for later. The app itself runs beautifully and smoothly. You can choose the desired shipping date as well. i had a positive experience with the customer service as I made a mistake in my order and in no time they had everything back to normal.

I really enjoyed creating my postcard and my family enjoyed getting it! It was easy to select and place my photos from my gallery onto the template and to create a mailing list using my phone contacts. The only change I would like to see is the ability to save the postcard before it was finished, as I had to start over twice because I lost my work. The developer was awesome in helping me through this process and to get back where I started.

This would be a great app IF it actually worked when you try to add credit. Contacted costumer support. All they had for me was, "hmm not sure. Try closing and reopening." I tried over a month time. Also, hard to easily add photos. Other apps it connects easily to gallery or social media apps. This you have to search documents basically in a sense.

The primary reason it's not a 5-star rating is because selecting the pictures was not user-friendly. When selecting a picture, the app should provide a scroll bar to go through the thousands of pictures on the gallery a lot faster (currently we have to swipe, swipe and swipe some more). Also, the app should allow me to change the size of the gallery so that I can more easily see which picture I'm selecting...otherwise, if I pick the wrong picture, I have to go back and swipe again! #bechego

Really wanted to like this app. The idea is great, the interface is clean, intuitive, and fun to use. Unfortunately, the postcards never arrived. I had two gift codes from Google, and sent two cards on separate dates. Neither made it to their destination. Might be the fault of USPS, but even so, it is a weak link in the process.

I tried a few apps and liked this and touchnote. Touchnote credit expires though, which is a ripoff. I love this app but once had an issue with 2 cards not arriving, sent a week apart, to the same address. However, that is likely no fault of MyPostcard. I noticed they recently expanded their products and its just getting better and better. The best way to send mail to anyone, at any time, instantly, from anywhere, especially since we live in China and family is in North America. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

There are only two reasons that I did not give this app 5 stars. One being that the app can be a little glitchy and force close sometimes. The other being that, at no fault of the company, the postcards can take a little longer to get to some places due to distance from the country of origin. The customer service has been fantastic. I was credited when a discount malfunctioned. When my postcards took longer than they should have, replacements were sent. Great service!

Received a promotion to send my first postcard free and figured I'd give it a try. Simple and intuitive interface that's robust while also not being too feature rich like some other applications out there that require a degree to operate. This application is able to simplify the process and goes a step further by having an extremely low cost and high quality print shop that flawlessly handles all the logistical needs of the print process and the mailing aspect of it. In short a one stop shop. 🥰

Super easy way to print pictures or send postcards. I can make collages or single prints, and the same goes for postcards. You can edit the pictures to fit, and you can add text, and it's all super affordable.Upload time is very quick for photos, and it takes minimal effort to send a custom postcard to anyone. The only thing I would like for developers to add would be some sort of confirmation that my postcard has been sent or delivered, and that the order has been recieved. Otherwise, I love it!

This app is confusing, so I'm not sure if I sent my postcards once or twice. I had a Google Rewards credit, but had to pay to have the postcards sent...? After spending over 30 minutes selecting & adjusting pictures for my second postcard, the app crashed and I lost all my work. The app said the photos were "downloaded" when I saved them, but I can't locate my pictures in the app or on my phone. Where did they go??? I do not recommend this app. Privacy does not seem to be guaranteed.

I got a free postcard thanks to my level as a guide on Google and decided to take advantage of it. I designed the postcard with a photo and had it sent out. It arrived quicker than expected and the photo postcard quality was excellent! I was impressed with the professional look it had to it. Would definitely recommend this app to anyone who wishes to design a great-looking, affordable personalized postcard.

This was easy to use. It was, however, pretty slow delivery. The postcard I ordered had blemishes when it arrived. I contacted MyPostcard and they sent a new one. The new one did not have the blemishes,but the colors (black and white) were streaked. I didn't bother to contact support again. I just gave up and uninstalled the app.

I think its awesome that I can pick anyone of my photo's, and send it to whoever I choose with just a click of a button!! And with the constant updates to the app,its even more better than the post office! You can send personalized messages and greeting cards!! The level of creativity you can make using this app is unbelievable I'm so pleased with MyPostcard app!

Very dissapointed with how they show the price of the postcard at the checkout. I would suggest it is deceptive to try and get you to pay more. Beside the postage and size of postcard you choose it shows up as £0.00 making it look like it is free. But you have to look closely to look at the minus and plus signs beside the other options! Sound confusing... yes it is!!!

Wonderful products in print, very high quality! Reasonably priced! You easily can add an address, then the company mails your selected item(s) to the chosen address you selected. You can now access your Google Photos quickly from the app. *There must have been a postal truck delivery problem in December as I am reading the reviews. Other than that month, their delivery has been fast. And their products look super!

I received a free postcard for being a local guide....I must say this app is pretty cool!!! There were a great variety of personalizable postcards to choose from...you can send them any where in the world...it was very easy to choose photos and upload them....only downside that I found a little confusing was the rotation of the photo in the edit....I chose the mosaic option and the picture had to be sideways in the edit to make it right side up on the postcard....after few extra clicks it was figured out tho!!!! I will def use this app again to share our family adventures with "the world"!!!!

I got a free postcard from Google Local Guides as a reward. First, it said I had zero contacts. I agreed to it accessing my contacts, (it seems you do this each time) and picked one with full address. It insisted I edited it, anyway! I carefully worded the message, then proceeded to the checkout. The app then said I hadn't added any text! Grrrrr!! I don't have time to waste trying out apps that don't work, so I'm uninstalling. So much for getting Google rewards.
