While the app is convenient and allows you to see all the info and make a payment on your account, the app will not keep your info to use your fingerprints to sign in. I've notified them of this and they have yet to fix it. Would rate higher if they fix this fingerprint issue.
Crashes on launch even after a fresh reinstall. This app has been broken for more than four months now. How a large utility can leave this broken app as the published version is an embarrassment.
App does not open I am using an OnePlus 7t pro. With android version 11. Not able to open the app. It gives error message and closes.
Crashes. Will not load. Has crashed for months. Update: 12/26/2021 - Still will not load. 01/06/2022 Crashes on start. 2022/01/17 It does not work 2022/02/03 Updated, will not open. 2022/04/05 Still will not open. Google why do you allow this in your store?
I can't open this app. PSE isn't able to help. Latest version is updated on my Android phone. It's been this way for weeks. I hope PSE is managing the grid better than their app. Worthless!
Great App, but very difficult to pay bills. Almost always have to call.
The ability to take care of and find out about such a large variety of things is great, unfortunately, I have never been able to access them. Even with multiple attempts over a few months, trying at different times and days, it never worked. I could see most of the home screen, and make a selection from the menu, but when it went to open it would load indefinitely or give a message apologizing and explaining that it was temporarily unavailable, . If fixed, I would give it another chance though
Well this seems useless as is. I keep getting Endpoint Errors at every turn. I can't see the amount that's due, can't make a payment, can't view my bill, can't view my usage history, can't change my account info. At least I was able to log in to my account which is more than I can say for PSE's website on my PC which keeps crashing since they've made updates to their website. Guess I won't be paying my bill early.
Barely does what it's supposed to. Frequently becomes unresponsive (presumably due to waiting for network operations), confusing UI for reporting outages (why do I have to pick from two *identical* address options after entering my actual address?), and the outage map itself is barely usable because about two thirds of the screen is taken up by buttons, expanders, etc.
Ever since the last update, I am unable to make payments through the app. I contacted PSE via phone, and the agent told me to clear my app cache, I have done this, multiple times, to no avail. I click on make a payment, and the loading starts dor a second, then nothing changes. I have also uninstalled and re installed the app, and even tried using the website, yet I am still having the same issue. I have only been able to make a payment from the automated phone system. Please fix!
While the app is good for paying bills and looking at statements, I found that during an outage, which we're currently going through right now, the outage notifications in the app and via text messages are considerably different. For example, the latest status reported when I text STATUS to their number returns an estimated recovery time that is hours away from the estimated time for my address in the app. Can't PSE beer more consistent? Seems like we have power outages every year.
Idiot app keeps clearing the user and login fields if it gets pushed to the background. I do a copy and paste for complex passwords and I put in the user ID, then flip to the screen to copy the password from, flip back to paste it, and it has cleared the user line. Also, the app will not run correctly in split screen mode.
This app is all kinds of messed up Can it go any slower, I sit and wait and wait and when it does deside to work I can't tell if it's frozen or or slow, everytime I use the app I always end up giving up. It needs to be fixed I don't know who designed it but it needs to go back to basics and start all over you know the saying : If ain't broke don't try to fix it, that definitely applies here cause it's broken
App functions very poorly. It claims to offer biometric sign-in but this does not work. App is slow to update - I would have expected that when I report an outage it is reflected in the app immediately, but this is not the case. Also, PSE is very poor about providing updates and current status, and the information is frequently wrong. If there were a zero star option I'd give it zero.
Trying to pay my bill. It will not load. Spinning circle displays forever. Even after updating, still will not load.
App OK, Status Updates Not so Much. The app seems to work OK, although during the recent widespread outage (on 1/6/2019) the PSE servers were overwhelmed and the app just wouldn't work. What value is there in having outage reporting, updates, and maps if the app doesn't work when it's needed the most??? A major shortcoming is that PSE never updates outage status. My power has been out for 34 hrs with NO updates. App should provide estimated time to completion, or status several times per day!!!
The new update is a trash..😡 the app suddenly stopped working, it won't even open.
Smart app! It knows exactly when customers need it most and refuses to work then. PSE, a company with billions of revenue, knows that cost saving is what shareholders care about. Crumbling and old power lines are a feature to maximize revenues at the expense of customers who have no other choice anyways. Proximity to the largest cloud providers, both Microsoft and Amazon, is of course no reason to have a working website or app, when more than 10 customers need to access them at once.
App crashes as soon as I click on it. It will not load, and has been a problem for a long while now. I have Uninstalled, shut off phone, reinstalled and still doesn't work.

Crashes constantly and almost feels like they made the app like that on purpose to make it harder to pay your bill so they can collect late fees
Hi, I'm having the same issue. When I tried to open the app, it crashes. I uninstalled it and reinstalled. Same issue! I'm happy I'm not the only one with this issue.
I only gave this a star because I couldn't write a bad review with zero stars. This app is just complete hogwash, I download it from my paystore and go to open it and get notified that the slum suckered keeps having issues and won't even open. How am I suppose to check my account status bill information? These slum suckered are gonna shut off my power if I don't pay the bill 😤 good golly, i wish we could have a different power providers to choose from like we do with wifi.... Unreal
Same problem as last version. When there is actually a wind storm causing large-scale outages, the app outage map is overwhelmed and doesn't work. Could be the server capacity at the data center, but it is of no value to me right now....
The app works sometimes but right now shows power off at my residence (sitting here with lights and TV on....) updated it, restarted the phone, uninstalled the app and reinstalled it -- still shows as "power off". Checking the online PSE outage map does not show outage at my house but the phone app does.
Constantly down..usually late mornings before u can see what your electric usage is from the previous day. Won't use the payment feature...though unlike most modern millennial idiots I'm not dumb enough to use the app to pay my electric bill..I'll go online and get my emailed receipt for that. Also it doesn't have a grand total of KWH used as the billing period goes on. And having a easy service request button for other services....say lighting would be great as well..so maybe some day they'll modernize.
Absolutely Useless. Every single time I log in, it demands an email verification. The email verification link opens the browser and confirms the account is verifying. It does not return you to the app once verified, just proceeds in the browser. The app never recognizes its been verified, the only option is to return to the home page, restarting the process. The only thing this app does is email a link to do it on your browser.
