Lately, it's been difficult to pull up any weather alerts within the app. If I click on a push notification of an alert, it only takes me to the radar. Clicking on the areas that have zones only moves the map. Although the app pushed a notification that we're currently in a tornado watch, there isn't any indication within the app itself. Detailed alerts should be easily found within the app, but they're not. Uninstalling as the Pro version no longer provides detailed weather or warnings.
This used to be my go-to weather app but two issues are making me look for a replacement. 1) The pull down with all the weather details keeps disappearing and doesn't come back unless I delete and reinstall the app. 2) The snow forecast is totally inaccurate. I've gotten at least a dozen notifications this winter that snow is going to start falling but they were not correct.
Good app, but falls short because it doesn't display certain watches, such as tornado watches, that are often applied to a number of counties in my state. (Edit: must have been a bug, because I can see the watches now. Hopefully it is reliable, because I have been looking for an ad free weather app for some time)
Still no option to change weather radar timeline to future. I would rather see that, than what happened 15 minutes ago. Please shorten the update intervals on your end or add a live/futurecast option for the radar. In the beginning, this seemed a proper candidate to replace dark sky since Apple took it, but this still just does not meet my needs. I will note that you have improved well over the last year but still not quite there for me. Thanks!
Loved the free version so i bought this one. No help, support or contact info inside the app. It needs better support for watches & warnings. For example, when I click on a city, tell me what watches/ warnings it is under. let me subscribe to watch/ warning notifications for my favorites. show a history of watch/ watching notifications for my favorites.
This was great, until recently. This has become increasingly inaccurate. The weather Channel always has a substantial difference in forecasts, and has been far more accurate. The radar is great, the forecasts have been very poor as of late.
Suddenly not able to provide any information on warnings you click on the warning or watch and you get an "error fetching data" message with no details provided... This is very dangerous potentially to those who rely on this app and watch or warning areas... We have to go elsewhere to get that information hopefully this gets fixed soon
Used to be reliable but over the last 3 years I have become extremely dissapointed in its accuracy. Its pretty bad when it claims to be a 100% chance of rain (even the same day of) and 9 out of 10 times not a thing happens. Why use a weather app when its measurements are so inaccurate that even an individual who is just lightly informed on how to read weather has a better chance of predicting the weather than the thousands of dollars put torward such.
After the last update on Mon. April 4, 2022 I now have a black screen with no radar @ all. Please fix or rollback to the previous version. **UPDATE** I had to re-install the app in order to get it to work but it takes 2 or 3 times manipulating the sliders before the settings take.
I really liked the free app so I tried a free 3 day subscription to the per site radar imagery. I immediately decided I didn't really need the individual radar site images and immediately went to cancel my subscription, however, I was unable to get a refund of my annual subscription. So buyers beware of the 3 day free offer for the radar service, it didn't work for me and I'm out $15 now.
The airport open anymore and it just goes to a blank screen. I tried clearing the cache, deleting all data, and reinstalling the app but the issue comes back within a day...
Love it! However, with the latest update to Android Pixel for April it doesn't show anything when you launch the app. It is just a black screen. I've tried rebooting my phone.
Always room for improvements but none the less this app is A++ and has been for many years. If I'm able to make 1 suggestion, it would be barometer history/projection for us fisherman.
Used to be great. Still runs fine on my Android 12 phone, but stopped running on both of my Wear OS watches several months ago. I uninstalled and reinstalled on both watches. That did not fix anything.
Really good app that lets you really see whats going on in the world of weather, earthquakes, fires, power outages and etc. And you can really customize what you want to see.
Reliable, quick loading, accurate. The graphics are great. I have no complaints. No ads and hurricane feature cost a little tiny fee, but very worth it being that I live in Florida. So many features, so many things to activate/deactivate.
The Interface can be a pain to use at times, limited settings and no customization. But, a great app for detailed weather information.
Nice Radar app, been using for many years. However I will have to warn you of increasing bloat and slow speeds. I remember years ago when I first started using this. I picked it because of its simplicity and speed. I'm starting to think of looking elsewhere because of this. Devs please go back to the early days or consider making a slimed down version with speed and just the radar bits.
No longer working on my Galaxy S 21 after the last update on 4/1. Just displays a black screen on startup. Guess I'll need to find something else since severe weather season is coming.
I'm disappointed. I had the original app, paid for the in-app purchases because I live in Florida and the hurricane tracker is very useful here. Now I have to subscribe to get that feature. I won't be since I've paid already. Still love the radar, just not the new change
Not good where 2 devices as in your phone and the watch do not link Just in notifications, I've already have Myrader on my phone and it doesn't link as in what I already have, for this Paid version for Samsung watch 4 doesn't Have a Watch Face with MyRader or Tile to put on home screen.. sorry guys this isn't good..
This app is incredibly precise and i love how you can add a persistent weather notification. runs smoothly and lots of data availiable
Latest pro update no longer works! Updated 4/4/2022 @ 9:10 pm est Used to love the app, but this is unacceptable for an app I paid for! Note 9 512 GB N960USQS9FVB1 FIX ASAP! Force stop, clear cache, restart and still doesn't work!
The last update broke the app. Instead of showing the weather it now shows a black screen.
I paid for pro, but yet have the same version as the free one. Also went to open the app today, and its just a blank screen.
Open the Pro version from Google Play Store (shows installed) and no ads display. Open direct from tablet and ads display. They blame Google but this app is the only one affected after reinstall of all apps from Google. Opened from store link shows Pro. Open from tablet shows free. Glitch nrrds to be fixed.
In general I like the app a lot, enough to buy the pro version. But, after a recent update, it constantly pops up a notification re: a wildfire hot spot near me. I dismiss the notification and it reappears, repeatedly. The notification is wrong for many reasons: I'm in a large city. I checked the map to verify there's no wildfire or hot spot near me. I'd like to know about wildfires, but nuisance notifications don't help anyone. They only lead to users turning them off or tuning them out.
