if you use Phones and tablets with built-in IR blaster, you can use by searching and downloading your remote control in case you use in other case, you should use with MyremoconX dongle.
if you use LG phone, Fisrt, you need to upgrade android os into android 5.+ . second, you need to install a QRemote module. and Please use this application.you can search your remote control by using keyword or model name or serial number or brand name.

The best remote control app by far. You can build your remote from the many remotes for similar devices it has in its library. Runs on Xiaomi MiA1 Android 9
App removes all remotes, after opening 3rd time, ihave to clear data but same result it "forgets" the remote even the build in one

How to upload the files to server for other use?
I've been searching all remote apps for a week and couldn't find a single remote app with this search functionality. I was found those tv off apps but they doesn't tell you what tv or set top box brands they testing but this app do and that's what makes it one of a kind. Im so happy I've found this. I would give it a million stars if thats possible but sadly there is only five. Great app guys also very very smart thanks alot. If you could put more brands for set top box and tv search it would be awesome too

Failed on every telefunken tests.
Doesn't work with out a dongle for Samsung galaxy 8 :-( and I don't have one
customizable and will work on sets which i couldn't find any remote app to work... 2020, Dec 15: after years of using this app i should honestly say this app is awesome. i use its voice command which is so flexible & customizable & really works well. voice listening can work in background which works even if ur phone screen is off & locked. it may not be the most user friendly remote app in the market & most of its user manual are not in english, but it does what the others fail to do
