Awful app. First, I found it awfully complicated like a cupboard with too many drawers, I could never find what I was looking for. Exploring colours gave me lots of colour splodges, like a black car sat next to a sea gull colony, and with no bearing to reality or even the colour chart. Visualising the room with colour stopped working and at that point I gave up.
I'm not sure who designed there app or any other big paint manufactures apps, school lever perhaps. They are shocking when it comes to trying to paint on walls. Please at least employ someone who understands how to use a paint app perhaps someone from Adobe... You cannot paint the right areas it has no ablilty to change the tolerance of colours it picks as the same and the highlight area is useless as it still doesn't fill in the area you choose. Might be easier if you could paint with your finger as run it over the screen. Also not sure colour representation is that good either Come on crown, dulux, valspar get your act together and get someone decent to design your app
Incredibly frustrating to have to use the very limited colour selection. Even trying to do a 'colour match' with a photo of something with the colour I'm considering only redirects to the nearest swatch in the app. Now if there was an interactive colour wheel, then THAT would be more helpful.
Rubbish. Took photos of my living room and it kept giving me a dull purple colour (my walls are currently yellow) and when I tried to expand the choices, got mostly grey with dabs of a few different colours here and there. Could not get it to let me choose from the full range or look at shades of a chosen colour. Got the same result with the 'quickpaint' option on preset photos. Useless. Fast uninstall.
Really terrible app. Incredibly frustrating to use. Doesn't do AR only can take static pictures. Additional with apps example photos, it doesn't tell me what colours are already used on the walls e.g. if I want find the same colour in the example. Really badly designed app. Also can't pan or scroll images e.g. if you want to see 360 image.
Could not save projects and was difficult to try different colours for different walls. App kept resetting to the colours it thought you ought to use. These were good choices but sometimes experimentation is key to inspiration
Waste of time. App is very difficult to navigate does not colour the wall correctly ( lots of patches and refuses to paint parts of the wall) and colours do not match in any way the testers that are on the wall already.
Use any other app other than this. You can't search for a crown paint. For ones you do find it doesn't do anything helpful like suggest matching tones. It's a total waste of time.
Not a perfect app but it's certainly got the tools to give you an idea of what colours would look like in your room, easy and quick to do too.
Not as bad as the Dulux app! It'd be nice if it did landscape mode but, in general, it worked reasonably well. So much so that we'll be using Crown paint in the room
Dated and frustrating instead of helpful and fun. It boasts the new spring/summer 2016 colours in winter of 2020. Awkward. Overfills. Uninstalled and will choose another paint company!
Very stuttery app. Something that could be brilliant makes the most bizarre assumptions that are completely out of your control when trying to virtually paint your room
Crownpaints for walls and ceilings durable paint is suitable for walls, wood and metal with toughest formulation ...better capacity to less paint for big area.
Not intuitive. Can't see how to visualise photos of actual room in the app once you have taken a photo.
Couldn't actually visualise a colour once I'd taken the photo just kept going back to the menu. Complete waste of time.
Simply the most frustrating app ever created it's likely no one has test driven the app once it was completed. Terrible.
I took a picture to use the visualiser and I couldn't use picture no matter how many times I tried taking a picture. This app needs a lot of work done on it.
waste of time. The colours date back to 2016, I wanted to see the cureent colour range. Uninsalled ans won't use it again unless it's kept up to date
Worked really well on my phone. I hesitated downloading at first because of the negative comments but decided to try it. No problems at all.
Deleted almost straight away. Wouldn't use photos taken and really poor functionality. Not use again.
Useless. Deleted it almost immediately. The fact they've not even proof read it for spelling mistakes tells you how ready this app was for launching.
Appalling app very limited colour range and the sample they do give don't match what the app puts on the wall I your photo.
Does not have a colour matching function. I need an app that will match a colour. Do this and I will buy your paint!
doesnt have up to date paints, total waste of time if you are actually interested on buying crowne rather than seeing a generic colour
App doesn't work. I'm selecting a surface and it's not responding.
Doesn't work. Keeps asking me to select a surface type, again and again and again. Waste of time.
Most crown colours cannot be found on the pallette. App outdated
App was really good. I enjoyed checking out all the cool colours.
poor interface, doesn't always do what you expect it to
Colours are no where near the same in the app as on the paper fan swatch, they look totally different. The app itself is rubbish, can't distinguish between similar colours like white and magnolia so when I take a photo and try to fill, I get the celling and cupboards filled in too! Wanted to use this to help with decorating a new build but its totally pointless as the whole place is magnolia. Very disapointed.
