For the longest time I have not been able to use this app because it keeps telling me to switch on my data. It doesn't work with either data or wifi. It is very frustrating because I used it for all transactions especially when roaming. I thought that the update would fix that but, nope. For that reason, this app is USELESS coz I CAN'T LOG in to USE IT.

The rule of thumb is if something is working don't fix it. What's up with this new feature where I have to log in every single time and honestly that's not the issue, the issue is the log in time? It's taking way too long yet I'm on a steady connection. Then once it's logged in after waiting, I immediately get a session has expired notice then I'm back to the login process. Please fix this asap. Otherwise, I've been a fan for a long time of the app! But fiX it please!!! Cheers!

Sometimes when you really need it it takes ages to load. Could be the internet but its mighty inconvenient when one is in a queue at say a supermarket. Otherwise the interface is awesome. And for the most part I love it. The easy confirmation of the agent number and recipient details when sending money. It is so convenient.

the app is good but it at times it times out and it forces you to redo the transaction again. Also take note on the time it takes before it allows you to enter the pin number. my take is that it should be instant but it drags for sometime before allowing you to rnter the pin. I thought it could be a nice idea if you guys can incooporate and have the mledger and safaricom app on one board or give this app a boost by enabling it to save the transacctions just like mledger.

This app is not as good as M-Ledger. I need to know how much I've sent to someone over a period of time but I can't with this app. It doesn't work on wifi, as long as my simcard can be detected in a device then that is enough, i don't have to use safaricom data to prove it's me, I'd rather we use others security measures like password. Resolve these two issues.

Mine never works. I always get the message "Sorry unable to process your request please try again later". This is all the time every day. I'm forced to use the old system which is quite dangerous as sometimes it sends the money without showing the name of the receiver. I have strong wifi at home so connection is not a problem.

I enjoy the app. Seamless payments, neat features like QR code scan to pay, faster performance over STK in most scenarios and much more. My only gripe is rather cosmetic. Of all the apps I have installed on my device, this is the only one that lacks a dark theme. It breaks the dark theme UX which I personally prioritize. It would be a nice addition to consider in future updates. Nonetheless, nice work!

I've noticed that in the recent past when i try to save paybill and account number under 'Bill manager' the app doesn't save. If i retry,i get the message ''A similar paybill number already exists,please go to Manage bills'' where it wouldn't feature Kindly fix this error. Could you also include a leeway for attachment because i'd have liked to attach a screen shot of the error i'm getting.

I uninstalled the app as soon as I opened it and it forced me to use mobile data for secure connection. I think you guys are blaming WiFi or other providers' data for your insecure app. Bank apps don't discriminate the type of connection yet they are secure. Fix the security bug on your core software and allow us freedom to use whichever provider's connection!!!!

Initially it used to be OK, then all over a sudden it started misbehaving. You can't use it even after you have switched off WiFi, raised it with the customer care. Nothing was coming forth so uninstalled it. Problem solved

Don't waste your time on it!🥶 The app used to work on any WiFi. Suddenly only works with Safaricom GSM data...the heck! We are on WiFi spots most of our times. They need to allow this by enhancing the security features. So spare yourself the disappointment and use the USSD options. This app is a total let down to push Safaricom data only.

I have used this app ever since the Platinum plus bundles came out an year half ago. by t since yesterday the interface suddenly changed to the old one after the update! I can't even see what my platinum balance is. this happened a few months ago and it switched back by itself. someone help?!?!

The app has been constantly getting better. However, the bill manager needs tweaking. Each time i delete a bill or add another, they don't reflect on the bill manager. And i have to re-add the bill all over agan. It's down straight annoying.

It was a nice experience using this version. Paying bills was easy, buying airtime and the most amazing thing is that some exciting offers were here and couldn't find them in the *544# column. Great service and value fr money. The new one is more exciting 😊😜

After the updates, I really love this application. it makes transactions so easy especially with the option of adding mpesa charges. I highly recommend this given that the problems of hanging up from before seems like a thing of the past. keep it up!

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app 4 times, and it's still not working. All it says is turn on mobile data, yet it's on. Also, I have restarted my phone 3 times, but it's still not working. Please fix this issue. It's a nice app, when it is working. I would have given it 5 stars. I probably will if the above issue is resolved and I get the chance to continue using the app.

Like many others who are complaining, the app is pointless if it can't allow connectivity without data being switched on, or should i say without Safaricom data? It should work seamlessly on Wi-Fi. Serves no purpose for us in diaspora. Too bad for a company of such a huge magnitude

Wish there was a way to give it zero star! After the update, can't use the App when roaming. Requires you to turn off WiFi and connect to Safaricom Mobile Data. Even if I turn of WiFi, turn on data when roaming, still keeps telling me to turn off WiFi and turn on "Safaricom" Mobile Data. Totally unusable unless you are physically in Kenya.

Although convenient, it's been using a lot of battery in the background. This is quite upsetting because we don't even know why it just can't sleep like other apps. The only option is to force stop it once you're done. Which doesn't make sense so on one-time usage it's better to just use the STK

Finally!!!!!!! You can now Pay and Send Money within the app with no need to keep opening the sim card access portal for MPESA. This is such a RELIEF!!!! Secondly, they added the option of telling someone the withdrawal costs and to add sauce to it, a simple click tab to include these charges or not. I mean, what more can I ever ask for MPESA??? JUST ONE MORE: Introduce NFC Transfer of MPESA by simply tapping your friends phone! This will be the greatest money transfer upgrade!

"Cancelling request" This is the message that i'm always getting whenever i try to access mpesa services such as KCB mpesa/mshwari. I'm also experiencing the same problem that majority of people here are complaining about, the app failed to launch just because i was connected to wifi network. Kindly fix this issues.

v1.5.0.7 - kindly let this app work as long as it can access the internet, regardless of whether it's Wi-Fi or another operator's bundles. That's one of the challenges an app that uses internet connectivity solves. Restricting it to Safaricom bundles is inconsiderate and very unreliable for users who would use it out of coverage/roaming area.

I Have always admired this App until the recent update. Thought was alone, im glad that we have others sharing the same problem. Im currently not in Kenya, and I have always used the app to make different payments etc. Now, since the update, It keeps on telling me to switch On my Data. Once i did, roaming safaricom data, still, it keeps on telling me the same thing. Or, is it (the app) not compatible with the latest version of Android? Kindly fix the bug. Thanks

its sad that this app has been working well then all over a sudden, it refuses to work with wifi and airtel data. kindly remove that requirement and allow the app to use data other than safcom data. otherwise, this requirement is stalling much progress. only then will be satisfied.

Keeps on disappointing when you need to use it the most. I've had to revert to the SIM toolkit a number of times. Good for making awkward situations in supermarkets and Ubers. Would be awesome with a PayPal integration though.

2 days ago i received a prompt change my safaricom app PIN ( which i didn't) only to realise that someone had downloaded the app onto their phone and used my phone number to register the app they'd downloaded. I was wondering how the app doesn't automatically pick the number especially since data is switched on,that's a security loophole on the app that needs to be looked into. It's hard for one to suspect fraud since the PIN change prompt comes from the safaricom system.Check on that.
