Not really good in any way. The hardware works fine, and once it's set up on a schedule I don't have problems. Every time I use the app it's hit or miss. It constantly says there is an update but the firmware updated fine. It says there is a BLE update that NEVER INSTALLS!! They need to hire a decent developer and overhaul this 1997 app.

I guess I should have looked at the reviews first. The Bridge is a total waste of $100, and the installation was not as they described on the website, but I did figure it out. As other have said, you have to introduce it by saying MySmartBlinds first, a total waste of words. And then it has even less control than the app. I was hoping that I would be able to open or close a single blind, or even a group of blinds--we have 2 blinds that get direct sunlight that I would like to close, but not a 3rd one. But that isn't possible. They have a bunch of cutesy phrases you can use like "I want it darker in here" but none that allow you useful control. I already had to use a second email address when I installed the MySmartBlinds app and it failed and would not work. That was all the support person could come up with. I see the reviews go back to 2019 and nothing has changed, so I have to assume they don't plan on changing it.

The idea is great, but the technology is just not there yet. Voice control only works half the time with my echo. The blinds fall out of sink with the app every once in awhile and need to be factory reset, which is a huge annoyance.

A 1 star rating is too high. I'd give it zero if I could. The app doesn't consistently connect to the motor. It can detect the motor but not when it comes to applying the mandatory firmware upgrade. I contacted support and they finally got it to apply the first part of the firmware but it failed on the 2nd part. Multiple attempts and resets later I gave up and shipped the hardware back to Amazon. Mabey once they go out of business, someone will buy the patents and make a working product.

The product is 5 stars. I have 5 windows done and can vouch for the product. But the app is lacking. I need multiple open positions that can be set for different times of the day. One preset open position isnt enough considering the sun moves. Google Home integration works well. Everyone who says otherwise must not be tech savy. Its been nearly 2 years since this app has been updated 😕

While the motors were easy to install, and I had no issues with initial setup, the system really needs the WiFi bridge for best results, even with one blind as the motor is just Bluetooth . Forget about Google Home integration as the link can't be found and support is clueless. Alexa is okay but wordy as you have to say "tell MySmartBlinds to open " but at least it works. SmartThings integration needs an advanced user. Schedule work great, but auto temperature would be better with numbers

They have made major improvements. I can now update the firmware. I'll know later this evening if the scheduling works. HOWEVER, when trying to install a new blind, it still continues searching until the phone dies even though it's found one. Why on earth doesn't it stop searching once it finds a new blind? Major screw up.

Really liked the product and App until my blind died during winter and came un-synced. Since the software update in Nov i havent been able to calibrate or re-sync the blind even when it is plugged in. It now seems permanently frozen in the closed position and inaccessible to the app.

Was excited for this option. Looks like after update lots of issues. Now all of the sudden my blinds won't work. They are up at 20' so not something I can easily access, hence the reason I went with this. Feel like this may have been a bad investment on my part. Would not recommend to anyone

I use a Pixel 3, during the initial installation I experienced some issues with the setup but once I borrowed another phone (iOS) I was able to finish the installation without any other problem. Now the blinds work and look awesome.

Disappointing, now only 1 star the app is basic at best, no true integration with Google home, assistant or nest, nothing has happened to the app well over a year and it just feels like they have given up. Such a shame as the blinds are fantastic :-( Come on Tilt, sort it out!!!

You must update the firmware for new blinds to calibrate and use them. However, the Android app will not display any blinds in the firmware update list, so you are stuck with non-functional blinds. Tried on Pixel 3 and Nexus 5X phones with various OS versions. App will not install on tablets, so couldn't use those either. My only option was to go buy an iPad to update the firmware or remove the motor hardware and return the automation kit.

I've purchased $400 worth of blind automation kits and I can't login to the app to get them working. I initially thought it was the security update google just dropped, but the 1.9 star rating shows someone at this company doesn't know how to manage and maintain an app. IT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT PIECE OF YOUR PRODUCT AND IT DOESN'T WORK. Very frustrating 😠😠😠 😡😡👎

2 stars, only because it used to work. No support for any Pixel, besides the 1st Gen (not even XL)? Come on. If there is any phone you should support, it should be all Pixels, and then all Galaxy devices. This used to work fine on Pixel XL and Pixel 2 XL, but then on Android 9 Pie it stopped working. It's a shame the development team doesn't care about Android devices, pretty much every iPhone is supported back to the 5.

Today my bridge and all blinds and rooms disappeared from the app and will not reconnect. Cant find bridge. Cant find blinds. Nothing changed in the house but the entire mysmartblind system died. And oh yeah...no support was available when this happened. Starting to regret this system.

Customer service was responsive. I emailed them about the app update not working and they fixed it within 2 days. They rolled out another update that worked. They emailed me back immediately and were responsive.

Since the las update (not sure if from Android or the app itself) the blinds have stopped working. The app is bot able to connect to the blinds. Also I'm unable to send a message to support through the app.

The app developer for MySmartBlinds must have received their degree from the cereal box. The product is very good. The app simply doesn't work with consistency (on Android). Until they fix this, don't buy MySmartBlinds.

Quit working on my phone after a few months and wont reset or restart. Tried everything but the arrow just spins round and round. Quite expensive for having blinds I can no longer use.

no improvement effort, many known problems are never fixed. there is NO engineering department for continuous improvement to their product. the do the minimum to get functional.
