dining doesnt work. doesnt show the times, and if I go to a specific place, it shows everywhere and some multiple. I can no longer decide where to eat using this app. not to mention the frequent crashes and sign outs and overall slow load time.
App must be restarted every time to load buses. Then it forgot how to connect to the internet at all, in the process of reinstalling. The bus schedules is just a webpage, but this is the worst browser I've ever seen
Using this app has been one of the worst experiences, it logs me out randomly, even while I'm still using it, you cannot view anything without signing in, not even bus schedules. The interface is clunky and most of the features dont even work.
I am unable to access the app because it says "Mystate needs an internet connection to retrieve the base configuration" even though I am connected to the school provided wifi. An app marketed for the school that isn't compatible with it's own internet is absolutely stupid and useless. Please fix this issue.
Ever since the update it always says I don't have enough memory when I have several gigabytes free, I tried clearing more and it still gives me the same error whenever I open the app. I'm pretty sure a simple application as this doesn't require over 20 gbs of memory to run.
After Feb 1 update I'm unable to open the app. I get an error telling me that I don't have enough memory to run the app despite having 3gb available. Note: this is with the android version on a Samsung galaxy note 9
Constant crashing makes it near usable. Its also wuite annoying for my summer schedule to be in currently as it gives me a disruptive error message saying there's an error due to those classes being over and I havr found no way of removing it.
The app literally won't go past the start screen. It claims I need an internet connection to receive the base configuration, and no matter what I connect to or what quality of internet I have, it will not work.
I realize that this app is student made and run, so you can't expect a vast robust bug fixing team to stay on top of it, but every single update brings new problems. I would just like better testing before release.
IDK what happened. The app worked fine last semester but I have a new phone so I just installed it on here and it just reloads the dashboard when I try to open cyride or map or anything.
Doesn't even work anymore. This is what happens when you try to cram to many unnecessary features onto one app. The only thing people use it for is dining and the buses.
It doesn't work anymore and whoever thought it was a good idea to make you have to sign in isn't too good at this cause now it crashes every time I try to open the app or look at a bus route and that's 99% of why I have this app
Crashes constantly. Can never connect to canvas. Requires you to delete and redownload at the start of every semester.
Dang I don't know if people are just getting unlucky but I've have a fantastic time using MyState. Meals info is normally very solid, cyride info is accurate, it stays logged in for class info stuff, I don't know why some others are having issues.
Not sure why so many reviews are negative. Bus maps update every 10 seconds. It's not perfect, but it's amazingly close.
Was okay last year using it but now it's horrible. Logs you out randomly food menus missing ect. Needs more work.
If you navigate to any side pages (classes bus schedules etc.) It will grey out the bottom half of the screen making it unusable.
it's always signing me out and i have to sign back in. this app was pretty awesome before the update. i dont mind signing in if its only once. fix this, please and I'll rate it 5 stars
Working fine before, now receiving an error of "can't use app, not enough memory on device". I have 10 gb free. Please fix!!
Schedules for bus routes are poorly updated, or not updated at all. Will randomly log you out and lag whenever you switch routes
The cyride is still glitchy and doesn't always tell you the true time or when buses are actually arriving. This app couls use so much better programming
used to be great, now everytime 4G or internet is slightly unstable, it logs me out and I have to go through the process again. please fix
can not search for people on the directory. also have to re sign in every time the app is closed.
Update broke the app. Now complains I don't have enough memory despite having 4GB, of which 1.5GB is available.
Constantly doesnt show the buses or shows the wrong times. 50% chance of not working any time you open it
Only good for career fair. But even that part needs work. Constantly crashes.
Just doesnt work....contacted the developers several times with no response. Very disappointing
The connection is very finicky, any time I lose 4G or get to 2 bars on wifi nothing loads properly. Also, with the new update for some reason, every time I go into a menu from the main page the app cuts my screen resolution in half, with the app only covering half the screen. Could just be a problem with my phone model but doubt it since no other app does this. Sleek looking, but these issues make it a pain to navigate.
