Edit, you just changed the match 3, bad move, it's awful now, too small to see, lost another star. Good game but the match three game has a habit of freezing after you win, the mines or rockets are left vibrating and you can't tap on anything so you have to shut down the whole game and redo the level. It always seems to happen when you have just managed to beat a hard level that has taken many goes to complete, you may have made purchases to complete it as well. So it's lost a star.
I have played this game for 2 years and on a high level but every time there is an update the game becomes totally unplayable for a while and I've had enough. I'm constantly getting kicked out, often after spending gems or using items. It's wasting my time and my resources. Time to look for another game which is a shame because the visuals when they work are good.
Game recently updated and freezes constantly, specifically in match 3 game where the format changed. Purchases made for energy and tools are lost, without any way of getting a refund. Disappointing as this USED to be a good game that I would have given 5 stars for. More ads now as well. Also now limiting the amount of ads you can watch for extra game time. Not worth the frustration and loss of money!
Since the last update the game is freezing constantly. If I finish a room or mini game it doesn't end and still acts like I have more to do which makes progressing very difficult because I have to replay the same levels multiple times. It also freezes every time I click on the noticeboard to check the daily tasks and I have to exit and restart the game to get it to work. Watching ads no longer gives rewards either which is very frustrating
The new update is terrible. Especially the match three update, the new graphics are slow and the crabs don't move when they get hit like they should. Instead of making the game harder, it's like you completely changed the game, the levels, and made it almost impossible to win. I would love it if y'all changed it back.
Revised review: I'm deleting the game. The last update to the game makes ALL levels in the match three mini game IMPOSSIBLE to win without buying tools. Before if there was a hard level, it was a fun challenge because you knew you could win, now it's just frustrating that you need to buy tools EVERY level. I've spent a good amount of money on this game, but their pay to win greed is now out of control.
I love this app usually, but every single event has a glitch that guarentees you cannot complete it. The current one always has the requirement for one last shrimp that never appears, even after fully clearing the board at least half a dozen times. Its infuriating, especially if you have used gems to have more turns only to have the same issue on the same game each and every time.
I have been a daily Mystery Manor player for 2 years. I'm above the 200 level. I've unlocked all the available rooms. I'm in a guild with other high-level players. And yes, I sometimes make in-app purchases. But after the latest update, I am ready to abandon this game. The update makes the aquarium IMPOSSIBLE (and tiny). It doesn't fix anything that's been broken in the game or add anything to the play. Mystery Manor was a shameless money grab before, but it's worse than ever now. :(
The game keeps freezing and I lose energy and all the prizes I earned. I sent an email to support and was told I'm out of luck until some future update. When I responded to that email, I got an automated response that said my case was closed. Very poor customer service and tech support! I loved the game before, but I can't stand abysmal support. I would give this negative stars if possible! And I certainly can't recommend it to anyone anymore.
Game doesn't respond to clicks. Restart the game and play a level then you have to restart. Same advert all the time. 3 in a row game or the find items may stop after you get the last item but then restart the game to get out of it. The game is the same all the time and that screen fog or purple is so annoying. Get 30 second removal and then back. 30 secs is not long enough. Dont like all the pay screen popups. Infinite is 1/3 popup screens or loading. Lots of bugs.
I agree with all the recent reviews. Latest updates were a step too far. The match 3 is no longer fun. Too much crashing of game, losing progress. Having no choice about updates, ie inside game as well as thru play store. Not telling us about updates made eg changes to objects in rooms. Not enough time in some rooms to complete the challenges. I've played this game for a few years but there is now so much wrong with this game that I'm giving up on it. Don't bother downloading it if new to game.
I could do without the special events. Overall fun. Now that they have to constantly bombard you with demands that you install it on your computer as well, it's not worth keeping. I don't want your app on my computer. I shouldn't have to say no more than once. Had to delete. Too pushy to get you to buy stuff or watch adds. You can search a room 100 times and never get the specific mode you need to search in to find the item you need, unless you want to pay to change it. Not worth the headache
Decent. Bugs are fixed so it works fine now. However I have two problems. One being that the unlocked rooms (other than the 4 main beginner rooms) take up too much energy. I feel like it's ridiculous, given that you also need a certain amount of items for different rooms, on top of that energy, to even play it. Secondly, I wish that the infinite energy timer would stop when you log out of the game and continue when you're back on. Things happen mid game and sometimes we must log off for a bit.
Only giving it a 3 because in order to play certain parts you have to play on a desktop. Also, some rooms require other things along with the energy to play, for example, one room requires bullets and energy, it's hard and time consuming to get the bullets, so you can't play that room. It's definitely one of the better seek and find Games, but there could be changes to make it better.
It would be rated higher but they're forcing you to spend money on the game. To finish stuff they're making sure that you will have to spend and keep on spending money. At beginning the stuff is easy but challenging to complete but higher you go harder it is to complete without buying stuff. Not gonna spend so i guess the levels i am at is where i'll stay.
The new update freezes even in the regular rooms then you have to exit the whole game to get out of the frozen game and lose what you played for. The match 3 is now the worst update yet being changed so much it is no longer fun. If it is not fixed soon it will be time to delete. I am at level 124 and I hope I didnt waste my time this long to be completely disappointed in a game I used to love.
I see this game still doesn't work. I continue to beat match three boards, only to have the game freeze up before I get my reward. and, then I have to redo the level because it doesn't save my progress. tried clearing cache, uninstalling and reinstalling... the problem persists. now I remember why I stopped playing 🙄
The new update on match three is not that good plus the app hangs too much. I can't enter any room whichever I want. I have to go to play button to enter only what the game wants me to play. I have to restart the game after exploring one room to enter another room. This restarting also doesn't allow to enter others. Whenever I win the game restart automatically and my progress is lost alone with my diamonds. Again I have to play the thing repeatedly to win, which I already won at the first time
I Love all the different rooms and levels ! They really work the minds eye !!!!! It has side games to gain more items and you get to set-up rooms ! So far I've only watched videos for extra moves . Otherwise I just wait until it builds back up. I LOVE The fact I can come back and pick up where I left off !
I've been playing for at least 2 yrs, at first it's fun & challenging. Now it's gotten frustrating, over a year to unlock 1 room? Regardless of how many tasks/quests completed & getting the items needed to explore rooms/charge collections is VERY drawn out! Match 3 freezes quite often (usually when your just about to win). Sent requests for assistance to tech w/screen shots of frozen screens/missing purchased items, loss of diamonds after being kicked off of game. Slow reply w/no help! 😔
I have asked gi to fix a problem five times now. Yes it was stupidity on my part to spend LOTS OF MONEY on this game otherwise I would've been stuck playing the same levels over and over and over.....but now the match 3 keeps freezing on me. I have to go completely out of the game. They sent me an email saying I have reached the Limit of Open Conversations. I did enjoy the game, once. Uninstalled.
Since the last update the game keeps going wrong. I finish a room/ mini game but the game either freezes or acts like there's still something to find. The items are getting harder to find in the time and I am getting bored with not being able to advance because I can't finish levels. I also don't like the changes to the match three mini game. It was much better before.
