I created this wallpaper because I loved the basic art used and wished it would move. I'm also a bit tired of so many live wallpapers that look very cool, but are too "busy" or colorful to make good long-term useable wallpapers. Features (enabled in "Configure" or "Settings"):
* touch-enabled! Swipe up or down to spin the rings faster. Tap quickly to slow down again
* Lots of colours: blue, magenta, pink, red, green, "Tron", golden, ice, fire, "magblue", green and more! More will be added. Note that loading of new textures can take a few seconds. This is not a bug and will only happen once.
* Custom color slider with hue/saturation!
* multiple fade schemes: linear, heartbeat, pulse and none. Timings and brightness are settable
* sync schemes: make the rings spin in sync, alternating pattern, or random pattern. Control speed in sync and alt modes.
* special effects: "centre glows" or does not fade out
* change minimum fade value for linear fade style
* move the centre of the circles left/right or up and down
* shrink or expand rings
* change brightness
Has been tested on a variety of platforms. Works very well on WVGA phones (especially Galaxy S and Galaxy S 2). Scales correctly for Honeycomb (tested on Galaxy Tab 10.1).
Performance heavily optimised using OpenGL and good memory handling. Won't slow your phone down at all. Uses almost no battery life (check battery usage stats... less than your SMS app if registering at all)

Note: if you "upgraded" from free version, this is a whole new app. You need to reselect "Mystic Halo" not the free version from Live Wallpapers, i.e. your existing free version will not just suddenly be unlocked.

This wallpaper is perfect, looks beautiful in your background without being distracting, its exactly what a live wallpaper should be. I had some issues after the update with the wallpaper causing my phone to lag so I sent an email to the developer who got back to me with a solution in minutes. I give this 5 stars.
It's an awesome live wallpaper that's great as itself and made better with the customization options. Customize the colors, the blink rate and more. Only drawback is battery usage which on my Galaxy S2 is quite a bit. Also occasionally, there is some screen lag when moving through screens.
The wallpaper is aesthetically pleasing. But unfortunately it's center offset function is somewhat skewed. The setup display will show the rings in the center of the screen. But when you actually set the wallpaper, they move off to one side of the screen. You have to manipulate the settings to actually get it centered correctly. If an update is released that fixes this I will be supremely pleased.
This worked awesome on my Galaxy s4 but on my new Sony xperia z3 it just will not stop scrolling no matter what I do in the options, every time I switch home screens the stupid wallpapers shifts, it's really annoying and now I don't use it anymore
Definitely worth the price. I was looking for a fun techy/Matrix-y background for my Android. Something that looked cool, but could fade into the background and stay out of the way. This app let me tweak and customize the settings to make that perfect background. Worth every penny!
Wallpaper is one that i could just stare at. A keeper. Description days Version 9 coming. Is it? Also battery usage is at least 3% Maybe I have settings set too high and too many colors. Otherwise good. I constantly change wallpapers including different ones for each screen but this will stay. Hope update comes. Will edit after playing around some more.
The novelty does not wear off. Awesome to look at and spin. Zero cpu performance impact, battery drain does even feature on the battery usage list. One build- higher image resolution- as rings are set larger res. drops. Overall- highly recommended 😆
I love this wallpaper but might need the old one back.. phone is crawling now :-( ik u warned us but a little frustrating since I have plenty of open ram. Why so much more cpu intensive now? Was really hoping it would get less demanding with updates lol
It's absolutely gorgeous, and I love how I can customize the size, speed, and colors. Reducing the brightness of the wallpaper can definitely make it less distracting. Now, this is the first time I've used it in years (phone swapping, never looked good again), but it looks GREAT on my GS6. Except for the off centered issue. ^^;; And I can't get my settings to line it up perfectly...
It is the best live wallpaper, I use it for years. But it is a little bit outdated, looks not so sharp on a retina screens.
In the new version, the circle is always shown shifted to the side, like I had more than one desktop in Nova Launcher. The center offset options do fix this, but the preview and the launcher look different, so getting it right involves some trial and error.
Disappointed that I downloaded this app (even got the paid version) but I can't get to open on my galaxy s5. If you can help me get it to work on my phone, I will give better rating.
Its not working on my nexus 6. Tried uninstall and clear data. Just get the 'its stopped working" error. Previously my fave wallpaper on every android device but just when I pay for premium it doesn't work. Is it supported on lollipop yet?....so still no response or update on issue with Nexus 6?? Wrote the review a while ago now so taking it to 1 star.
Loaded the free version first, bought this 10 mins later :-) Best thing is that it is interesting without being too fussy. Doesn't work on my new pixel, which is a pity.
Its wont work with galexy s7 active, if i try to change the wallpaper it only sends me to the samsung store but thats how the galexy wotks now, honestly this has actually been my wallpaper for a few years now and ive even got the paid version i love it, but now i cant use it anymore bc i had to get a new phone. If this had an actual icon in the app list to set the walpaper directly from the app itself it would work just fine. I would really hope for an update to use this on the newer galexy it would look amazing with the high end screens
Good looking wallpaper, but don't expect good performance and customizability on just any phone. Running it scaled up on my Galaxy S3 with either custom color or linear fade causes my home screen to chug.
It doesn't harm the batteries flow nor does it drain the cpu! just a pretty view which makes you want to spin it nonstop. I don't know about anyone else but i doubt i'm changing my wallpaper any time soon
Would be cool if you had a number input for the custom colors. Really difficult to get the slider on exact numbers.
Its greatand love the way it looks but drains my battery too fast. I think you should have a save battery button to save your battery. I have Samsung galaxy avatior.
This is the longest running wallpaper I have ever used on any phone. That's saying something. I would love the option to change the black background color. Couldn't find the options.
Very customisable, especially the paid version. Can set it up exactly how you want it. Definitely worth the small charge for paid version. Works great and no performance impact as far as I can tell.
Doesn't use much battery life. I Love the idea that you can adjust to what you want.
The customization and touch interaction (to speed up or slow down the rotation) are cool enough to make the paid version worth it, but I purchased it mainly to support the amazing developer (and his dog) :).
Maybe a problem on my end but when I try to d/l it say insufficient space. Jellybombed"like a boss" Note 2. !Ok figured it out had going to wrong SD my bad :S Awesome App!!!
I only keep good live wallpapers on my phone and this is one of the best I love how when you touch the core it spins fast and and all the different custom options, i highly recommended this app.
Used this app for years on LG phone and recently upgraded to the Samsung S9. Sad that it does not work on this phone. I've paid for the app and would love to use again!

Really cool, reminds me of halo 2's loading screen. Smooth, customizable, and crisp. I've had it for about a year now, but took it off a few months ago. Just tried to put it back on and messed with the custom color feature, which dropped my framerate to all hell. I know it says beta, just thought you might like to hear the feedback. Galaxy s3
