honestly for a car company's own bank they are very willing to work with you. especially in the hard time. they will always give you a chance to catch up on payments and are flexible to understand why you might be late on a payment. I have been using this app for the past 2 years almost 3. I have never once had a problem with the app or its customer service. Granted all the automated service when you call in needs to be abolished but the staff is friendly and easy to talk to. The app never fails
Needs work. One of the few apps that still can't handle dark mode on a phone. If your phone's on dark mode, there is text that is unreadable and you may miss vital information. Also, a few times I've scheduled a payment for same day or next day and it schedules for a date an extra cycle in the future, making my payment late and accruing a late fee.
Decent app. but setting up first time payment was unnecessarily hard. it required a total of 6 verification codes over email and one over text. the special characters were removed from my username when I made one without notifying me of this requiring a round of "I forgot my password/username" resets before I finally caught it.
The UI is terribly difficult to read with black text on black background, and the login is buggy. I had to insert the login verification code on multiple tries before I could log in for the first time.
There seems to be a glitch with this app. I've set up recurring payments in the past and they seem to disappear. one time my payment was late because the application didn't work. my advice is to check this occasionally to make sure your arrangements are still intact.
FRUSTRATING!! The application on my end been having a bad experience! I'm a proud owner of a 2021 Toyota tacoma had it over a year now and I usually mail in my payments but for the month of April (2022) I decided to try and make a payment oh this very application but so far I had alot of technical difficulties "glitches" I've been charged twice when I only wanted to submit one payment but to resolve this issue has been quite difficult. Expect glitches with this app.
Borderline unusuable. The cycle of Login screen --> login --> get authentication code --> input code ‐-> "Looks like there's an error on our end, please try again soon" --> return to login screen DOES. NOT. END. And no amount of uninstalling and reinstalling changes anything. How am I expected to pay my bill through this thing if it doesn't even let me on?
2022 review: 4 ⭐. Very easy just like before the mess up update of the past. Once my payment has been successful I will add the last ⭐. I came back to Android after the platform of iphone payments needs work. This android made the payment easy so happy they fixed it for the play store. 2020 review: one ⭐ only. Worst update ever. I can't even make a payment on this app I miss the old update at least that accepted payments. 😢
super easy. very convenient and haven't had any issues yet. I drive truck and am not home when most bills come due so being able to wake up and make a payment by swiping on a bar on my phone is awesome.
I actually use this app a lot.i gave it 3 stars because: 1. Its hard to make payment through the app (most of my one time payments have been reversed, so I usually call to pay or use the website). 2. The app organization can be organized better. (The way information is displayed). 3. The account information provided by the app is usually out of date.
The app on dark mode won't show due date on home page. Because I always use my phone in dark mode I didn't even noticed the home page will show me due date. That caused me to accidentally pay twice in the same month because the app don't let me see the due date while in dark mode.
This app is garbage. I try making a one-time payment and it makes the one-time payment for the scheduled due date but I'm trying to make the payment for the day of. Then my payment gets rejected and they do not inform me. They will send me an email telling me that my payment is scheduled but when it's an unsuccessful payment they don't let me know so I'm late. It has happened to me twice I have lost all faith in this app I will pay my car by calling the 1-800 number.
I have had two Scions and one Toyota. My payment history exceeds a decade. For all those years I have maybe had two payment problems due to money issues. Recently your recurring payments system broke. I got a formal message in the fall about the problem happening around July. I set recurring payments so I don't have to think about making a payment and since I have done that for over a decade, I give it no thought... Until I'm behind 3 payments and 86 points lower on my credit score. Thanks! ❤
I have never hated a company more. I have had over 5 extremely awful customer service experiences. The app is awful too. Double charges; I'll set up a payment and it doesn't go through. The app is always not working for androids... and it's IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of anyone.
Love my Toyota Highlander, it's an amazing vehicle to drive. It's comfortable and luxurious inside. My only complaint is the remote start is a complete nightmare to operate. The keyfob and the app are practically useless. I have to be really close to get the keyfob remote to work and half the time I could have went out and started the car manually by the time the app actually decides to work. The car turns off as soon as you open the door to which is a pain. None of my other cars do this.
Toyota lies. They are deceitful. They steal your money for services they don't perform. They try to sell you scratched cars with defects and hope you don't notice. Then when you become their customer, they lie to you more. They offered an extension during COVID, they ensured me it was fine. Then they dinged my credit for missing a payment. When I disputed it, they admitted it was an error and it would be removed. Month after month, nothing. Dispute every time, they admit it's their fault, they'll remove it, nothing again. I contacted them and asked why it's not removed, they said they can't remove it, and it must be left on. I have proof of everything and they refuse. So it's time for legal action. Do NOT give Toyota your money. They are liars and frauds. You make every payment on time for 2 years and they lie to you about an extension, then ding your credit like you did something wrong. THEY offered it! I would have just paid if I knew they were lying. They get the extra interest by adding on an extension to my payments, then go and ding your credit. Horrible way to treat your loyal customers. Loyal no more, I will NEVER buy another Toyota now unless this gets resolved. Since they dinged my credit with lies, I'll spread the truth everywhere so people know how they conduct business. Very shady. Also, paid $2,000 for services they still haven't performed 27 months later. So I'm looking into legal action for that.
this app needs some serious update, it used to be great, but now it glitches. Details of history payments doesn't work anymore. Trying to submit a payment can be a real headache, with all the error messages.
The app worked great until about 2 months ago. Now every time I try to login it says to please try again later and there is an error on their part. If Toyota can get the app to work correctly again I would give it 4 or 5 stars.
The more the app is updated, the worse things get! Please roll back! Lack of old options and unstable app is not helpful and less than stellar. Not at all impressed!
Probably the most frustrating login I've encountered..Biometrics hasn't worked for months, reset your password, input code, repeat, repeat, failure. Are you guys aware of this???
App used to be good but has been glitchy and awful for the last month and so is the financial services website in general. Constant error messages on both that won't let me log in.
It won't let me repay a failed payment through the app, it just keeps telling me "payment failed" like yeah... that's why I'm trying to pay but it won't let me. it let me set up a recurring payment just fine
Why bother with an app at all if it isn't ever going to show payments that have posted, and the amount owed is consistently inaccurate? The only thing that's accurate is the zjs date.
The only thing this is good for is making payments and even then I'll get the email yet the payments still don't always go through. I can't look back at the payment history, so I'll just end up checking the website anyway
Took 3 tries to get into the app and in that time I had set up reoccurring payments in the browser. when I finally got into the app, I had to set up reoccurring payments again because there is a huge disconnect between the browser and the app. Let's hope I don't get charged twice. The amount of money they make, you would think they wouldn't have these issues.
