MyTransit NYC: Subway,Bus,Rail

Very well designed app but (unless I'm missing something) doesn't let you set an arrival time in advance for your destination, essential to plan ahead of time when I need to leave the house. I was going to pay to get rid of ads but without that function, not worth it to me.

My mother and I made our first trip to NYC last weekend. I was intimidated by the public transit system because it's so extensive. This app was an absolute game-changer! Not only does it give full point-to-point directions, but it even accounts for delays and closures. If you're going to NYC and planning to use public transportation, this app is a must-have!

I use the My Transit app because I have to plan my weekend trips ahead of time and it saves me a lot time and aggravation. It's pretty reliable and it helps me plan my way of maneuvering around the buses and trains. I like this app.

Everything a NYC commuter needs (almost*), including offline maps and point to point directions, and designating bus or subway stops as favorites for in motion adjustments and in the moment decisions, among so many. About that * .... The missing link is the NJ Transit options: PATH, NJT busses and trains... I know it's more data and potentially a bloat on the app, but all the features are there... just...a few more deets. Ohh.. and ferries, yes water transports would make this *THE* app..

Always on point and accurate on the schedule and anything that is a potential danger to riders I love this app! It also tells you how to get to your destination the fastest ways and all your options

This app is easy to download and easy to use,and is very informative 👌. It is so easy a baby could do it . I like because it gives u the real time schedule so I make sure I arrive at the train station just in time to board the train and be on my way applause to the people who created this app.

My first trip to NYC started with a mad dash to the subway to go see To Kill A Mockingbird on Broadway with my Brooklyn cousin and her two girls. On the ride back on the subway one of my cousins daughters fell asleep leaning on me, first time I had ever met them and the girls instantly accepted me as one of their own. I have a million reasons why I love the NYC subway system. I even got lost on the train one day, one of the best days!

Had a few other apps that worked ok but this one is perfect!! Easy to set up favorites and easy to follow, has great illustrations.

There is nothing better to check this app before going out. I feel safer. I am Claudia and use it to help my student who are learning English to go around using this app. Thank so much.

I am amazed at how accurate it is. I can even be alerted to subway and bus changes on weekends before I go out. Really valuable app for me once I understood it which wasnt too bad. Great job. MTA Now if you could just do something about announcements on trains that no one can hear or make out what the conductor is saying It would really help. Intercom system needs work.

Mostly accurate. Plan to deduct a minute or so from the stated time. So, if it says your bus is 2 minutes away, it's probably approaching the stop.

Needed a new app since the old one was locking features behind a paywall. Does the work I need and accurate about time of busses and trains.

Best transit app ever! I can't tell you how many different apps I've tried. This one has it all. Simply the best by far.

Great App.. needs to log metro cards and work with metro card and rail system for digital payments...and digital card storage... NYC IS TOO BIG TO ALLOW outdated technology to prevail. Digital metro cards are better and safer and provide a refundable option for low income taxpayers that lose or have it stolen

This app has been as close to perfect in displaying the actual and estimated times for arriving and departing buses and trains. I use this app frequently. I have tried other apps before using My Transit NYC. Now I am a loyal customer. Recently I had an issue where my favorites were not displaying at all. "No current trips" showed up for a few days. I relayed this information to the technicians. Not only did they respond that there was indeed an issue, they fixed the problem quickly. Great customer service, great follow up and resolution. Thank you.so much.

As a tourist,it wasn't easy to use. To be honest, Google maps had clearer less ambiguous directions... But the NYC signage could also be improved, both in the tunnels and on the platforms. There were several occasions we had to double back and hike up to another platform because direction and destinations weren't clear. I'm headed home now, and don't have advice on how to fix it, but the app just didn't work well for me.

The best app so far. Using it for NYCT and it haven't disappointed yet. It works as if you was on the platform checking the time table. Cool options as "schedule, alerts and favorites " makes it incredibly useful, powerful and user friendly at the same time. Adds are there but never interfere or obstruct the actual app and interface. Great job team 👏

Works better than Google maps. More accurate on bus times and train delays.

Can't figure out to only alert me when MY lines have a problem. Turned off all alerts.

great app for navigating NY public transit system. was here for a week and know how to get along. loved the start and end point map! improvements: would be nice to have directions on how to get to transfers in the larger staying ie: go up 2 levels to get to the X Subway look for signs to Brooklyn; and an in transit search. Sometimes i would exit out of the app to check on something or do something else and would go back to the app to find my current plan was no longer there.

I've been using this app for years. It works with the simplest phone models and the best part is that it works offline! Very important when you're on an underground subway! The map downloads are quick and lightweight, the entire app doesn't take up much phone space. And there's NO DISRUPTIVE ADS! But... PLEASE ADD THE PATH TRAIN! 🙏

It's been over 6 years and this app is still maintained and works flawlessly! One of the easiest and accurate everyday traveling app to use. Thank you
