this popped up in an email when i had to do an e-check in. but i want to ask, what is the difference between this app and the Mychart they have been using for several years?
Overall the video is very choppy compared to apps like zoom and Google Hangouts and Skype. The phone also gets warmer than most other video chatting apps, and I get a notification that says my phone is getting hot and some features are reduced. So overall the app works and is a good way to connect with my doctor, however I think it needs to be a little bit more efficient to improve the quality of the video and the experience.
This app made it much easier to manage everything to do with the scheduling and recovery process. Thanks again to everyone at UCSD.
Convenient and very useful to sync with primary care.
Just want to leave a message for the dr. and I do not find this app. User friendly. A prson with cancer does not need this frustration.
Very bad experience. Many problems. Customer service poorly trained and have never been able to help me resolve any of my error mssgs or problems like not being able to do a video call with my Dr's! I expected way more from UCSD.
The app used to work awesomely for me. However, yesterday it started asking me to download a separate app called my chart and will not function without it. The weirder thing is it just needs to be on my phone; it doesn't actually open and gives me the option to use myucsd app or whatever mychart is. I feel like they made a mistake in updating the app.
I just love this app🤗🤗🤗 I could access and view everything from my scheduled appointments to my lab results and prescriptions(which I can request a refill from the app). I could also inbox my doctor directly. It's easy to read and follow. It's a great medical portal/app to have access to. I just love it🤗🤗🤗
I need the ability to copy text from the messages. This is communication between me and my doctor. If I need to copy a part or the whole message, that's my business. Why do you have that ability disabled??? Now what is this? I try to paste some text into a message to my doctor and I get this message: "Special Characters Not Supported. You attempted to enter text containing characters in an unsupported language." No I didn't. I'm using English, like I always have.
I used to love the convenience of this app but ever since the update it doesnt work. I keep trying to see what my doctor posted to the "letters" section and Everytime I try and access it the app crashes. Never had this issue before. Please fix this! Especially during the pandemic we need access to our health records.
Unfortunately 2 techs both tried extensively to verify my e address and phone number as requested on my chart notifications and NOTHING they did would verify and remove the notification on my chart. It's still there and requesting VERIFICATION!
It was great until the latest update. I cannot open mychart without installing a second mychart app with the red folder icon. Nothing within the app works, letters, after care, messages etc. Nothing loads and I get a server error. I can no longer access anything from the app.
App has lost certain functions. I cannot access letters or medications, nor can I echeck-in for video appointments. Also, it does not work without the other MyChart installed which does not do anything on its own. I find myself having to log in and do most things from my laptop.
App works fairly well except when you are in a video session if a call comes in, if you answer or not, it cuts off the sound in the video with your doctor and you have to start completely over. Also the app tells you if you have to connect to another hospital for records it doesn't offer a link to correct the problem. Being attached to Select Specialty Hospital is a mistake. I can't get connected to them no matter what I do. Ive gone online, called the don't answer or respond. They are terrible!
This app is actually incredible and amazing, and so much easier to use then the Web Page "UCSDMYCHART" !!!! So user friendly and interactive. All my information is right at my fingertips. Response time from messages I may send to anyone on my care team is super fast!!! I love that I can access right off my home screen... "The future off instant Patient access to there healthcare provider, and that Patients entire care team associated with Provider, has arrived, and it's amazing!!!"
I'm not sure what is happening but error is showing more often. It is also slower to respond at time it might take 2 or 3 time for it to work. Some messages pop up others delay or error.
The new "upgrade" isn't. It's slower and it clips some of my messages. To see the particular message I had to log on to MyUCSDChart on my computer.
App crashes anytime I try adding an attachment... Most things I try to copy and paste show an error about characters not being supported.. Even if it's plain text from Notepad...
After a few days it just quit working. You can click on anything and it says error. I Uninstaled the program and trying to reinstall but having trouble with that too.
So far AWESOME! Thank you - so easy to use & great picture & audio w video doctor appointment. Our first time using & very satisfying experience. Looking forward to keep using for such!
Everything you need to keep current with your health status is somewhere in the app just find it and read results.
Very good app. Updates really fast.At first I gave a 5. But after the last update, the app really sucks. Now all it does it buffer for five min. Please put back. Made me down load another chart app. Anyone know how to remove the update????
I love to use it! It's easy to navigate in it.
The app is useful. Video calls are OK. No issues. Simple must, fix your phone settings to avoid interruptions while on Video call w Dr's.
Been trying to log in and it always says error failed. When it was working it was great. Now it doesn't work and I've called to ask why and the guy said he didn't know why either. I asked for an estimated time when they would fix it and he said he didn't know. Frustrating
The video calls heat up my phone to the point where it shuts itself off.. not every time, sometimes I just get a warning.
App crashes when trying to send image to doctor. Samsung note 10 with app permissions granted. Even tried resized image that was very small storage wise and it still crashes immediately
Secure snd fast way to interact with all my UCSD Health Providers and staff. I get my lab results so fast! Very convenient and easy to use.
not able to install app to desktop either :( app installed on my phone will not recognize photos or files of my insurance card either :{ so frustrating!
This is the WORST web interface I have experienced. Incorrect, incomplete, not intuitive, full of fluff and blather, badly organized, does not provide me with all the information and experience I have had with UCSD
