The app itself seems to be set up simply and is easy to use. However, I do have concerns about the password policy. On first login with a new account you are not prompted to change the password from what the electric company has given you. There also doesn't seem to be any option within the app itself to change the password. You have to login to the website instead to be prompted to change it or manually change it. I'm concerned that with such weak password policies data could be easily stolen.
Easy too use. But a little high few. Should be 3$
I like the daily notification about my usage! It tells me my bill too.
Love the pay as you with the app on my phone I can look up what my daily cost is so I can adjust what I run or turn on to stay cool or heat this is first time I've ever did pay as you go I really love it and I can add money 24/7 without ever leaving my house love it would recommend to everyone
Nothing about this app makes sense to me. It appears to be simple but its not...its LITERALLY A BUNCH OF NUMBERS with ZERO EXPLANATION. I can't figure it out. And I don't understand why I need to put my account number in and key token? to make a payment when it's already signed into my account. I really think a user friendly update is in order.
All this app is good for is paying an amount towards your account. Does not show a statement. Does not show current balance owed/due. Does not show account details, (i.e. due date, amt due, late fee, etc). I would like bill details. (HES electric provider.)
The setup process is long and arduous, and once you log in the app is overly simplified. My usage isn't showing me anything, when I click "hourly" or "daily" it just says "Not available". I'm not sure if that's the app or my meter. Either way I prefer the website to this.
A little basic, but it works. Would like to see a little less screen switching (more info on one screen in the of the usage), but it does stay updated and breaks down your charges, so you know how much money you have left on any given day. Would recommend.
Very handy and very user friendly
I think the user experience is somewhat based on the utilities company as well. However, I have used this system in both Tennessee and now Florida and after the first hiccup of login I have not had any problems. I like seeing the amount used everyday so I know where utilites are being wasted. You never hit switches as fast as the day it cost you $5.00 instead of the normal $1-3 😂..... I have no complaints so far but I've been using it for 2 years now soooooo
So one big problem. When I go to add funds to my account that site is not setup for use with cell phones. Now I understand that you have no control over the company that runs the second site but you are paired up with them. Might have been a great idea to setup a blanket site for payments for all the different companies.
This has been a great app until today! When I try to log in it says "invalid token, try again later" What is going on? I've had this app for a long time and the sad thing is I had to get a new phone at the beginning of the year and my email is now different then the one I have my account made with, and there's no way I could possibly remember the old password. Why is the invalid token showing up. Also is there a way to add my new email to my account. .
my app keeps crashing. wont let me log in. please fix it!! update 6/25: Still wont let me log in. My phone is a Galaxy s4. My service is thru AT&T. This app is useless to me. Its inconvenient to waste my time trying, then having to resort to other ways to pay my bill. I might as well delete it if it wont ever work for me.
This is a nice app to have if your in need of a quick view of your utility usage on a regular bill or also a prepaid bill. It also gives you details you might need in a hurry such as your account number or during outages you meter number even it would tell you if outages are in the area and how long the area has been down. You can't change your notification info; and I often have trouble changing my pwd it gives me an error code stating my email is not found with an acct.
Product description in app store fails to mention that this app only works in a few states. I live in Michigan and have Consumers Energy with a data sharing option powered by Green Button Data which I believe supports the type of data needed to make a app like this work so I don't understand why Michigan isn't an option. Update this app to support this and I will return!
All ETC products are confusing. I have 2 MyUsage accounts for 1 address. The admins at ETC don't understand what I'm talking about. One has a negative balance and the other is the one I put money in. I have been at this address twice and they won't merge or intergarate the 2. ETC is losing money on the other account. I tried explaining but they can't figure it out. Hope they don't send the unpaid to collections or disconnect my electric.
I love it I use it everyday very helpful and insightful
why fix what's not broken?hate the new interface. hate the white new layout. the previous set up was easier to navigate it just needed a bit more speed.... is there a way to atleast put night mode on it?
I've had nothing but issues with this app. Everytime it updates I have more issues. Lately every time I try to log in it goes back to the home page and won't let me log in.
everything was fine until the system must of been hacked. some how the system is reading I owe over 1 million dollars which needs to be paid before disconnection. yes I said it right I have screen shots of the ridiculous amout this app is trying to say I owe. I am beyond livid about the situation. yall need to fix y'alls system. no way in hell we owe that amount. especially when I just put in 134.00 and we had a balance of that to be used.
I don't know what happened but in the last month it won't update my usage after I make a payment. It now sends me notifications that my bill is past due. Going to Uninstaller if it's not fixed.
Layout of site is good, the upgrade is outstanding, it's easy, convenient and safe. This is the easiest way to keep the lights on
