Useful for some information, but submitting a request for an appointment has never worked. In the latest update you can at least see what veterinarians are available, but if you try to request an appointment there are no open days available. Ever! I looked 6 months ahead and there was nothing. If you have to call that anyway, what is the point of that part of the app?

Downloaded it and was met with nothing but error messages during set up. I'd force stop the app, try again, get a little further and then it locked my account. Not worth the hassle, deleted it. UPDATE: Received an email that fixed my setup issues, so I redownloaded the app and now it works ok. Some areas of the app still are not functional. Links send you to non-existent pages, etc... Still needs some work, but overall if it allows me to make appointments and keep track of what my pup has had done then I'll keep it.

This app is a joke. Can't even create an account because it keeps kicking me off the account set up page saying an error has occured. The one time I did get through it said my answer to the record verify was wrong when I chose 'none of these are my pets'. I've been using the same vet for 10 years. I think I know what my pet's name is.

Hello! I am trying to download the app on my laptop using my gmail and it says 'installed' but doesn't list my laptop device. I would like to utilize the app as I am home and disabled with my cat and service dog.

Downloaded the latest update, and whenever I try to open the app, it absolutely locks my phone up. I can't do anything on my screen, I can't even turn the screen off. I literally have to do a hard restart.

the app never remembers log in information. I don't use it daily, so I spend 10 minutes trying to figure out what my log in info is. there should be a "remember me" option. despite this, the actual veterinarians at my VCA are great

really makes managing what care your pets need very easy. can schedule appointments, sign documents, and call if necessary.

Since the latest update, when I start the app, it just sits on the splash screen forever, until giving me a ANR report about myVCA not responding and I have to kill it. Beyond useless in its current form, just takes up space and does absolutely nothing. Update: I sent in a debug report, so the developers should have something to reference.

excellent app. allows me to see all my pets medications and appointments. allows me to book appointments easily.

Joining VCA to purchase health insurance for my baby. With the cost of health insurance so high for animals when they need help it's absolutely essential to me to have good medical insurance and price that I can afford with low deductible when combined with the ASPCA health insurance the VCA is a phenomenal combination. Looking forward to working with them, funny thing is I haven't chosen the cat yet I know what breed I want but they're a little hard to get so this may take a little bit of time.

Easy downloading, easy access. Why is there no access to my dog's visits info? Would like to know what is in his chart, just like I can access a visit history with my doctor.

My previous issue with the dosage reminders seems to have stopped with the latest update. I am still figuring out the app and hope to enjoy it more as I go. Thanks for fixing the dosage reminder issue.

Extremely useful app- I can schedule appointments after clinic hours when something comes up instead of having to wait (and worry) until the next morning, and accessing records is a breeze. has a lot of useful information as well, based on the age of the pet who's tab you're looking at, too. I love the medication reminders for things like heartworm and flea treatments- super helpful! I just wish there was a way to delete a pet. We lost one of our cats a few months ago (he was 17), and he's still in the app. It's a bit of a sucker punch every time I open the app.

I can't sign in to the app. I click on the box to type my email and it bumps me out of the box before I can type anything. Another annoying thing: Somehow I have two different accounts under the same email address. I would think app developers would make it so this can't happen and thus create problems. I guess they didn't think that far ahead. Most annoying problem: App developers don't help fix this. They say to call the hospital and have them fix it. *update* they fixed it. 👍

While this works most of the time, it logs me out at least once a month and won't let me re-log in with google email (how I prefer to use this app versus my VCA store login). No matter how many times I try, it contiues to say "error...looks like something went wrong". Usually, I can rectify the problem by uninstalling the app and re-installing it (which is a pain), but not today. Keep getting the error after 3 re-installs. I have a Samsung. Edited to add: Based on response below (which was fairly quick), I did get on the next day w/o a problem; however, I run into this "error" about once a month. So, if it's due to a power outage, it happens too often. That said, it's a decent app, so upgraded my rating from 3 to 4 stars.

The app won't load at all. It notifies me of my pets appointment and asks me to rate the hospital but I can't see or do anything beyond looking at the "something went wrong page". I've reached out twice, today being the 2nd time, and no one's gotten back to me. I used the report button on the error page so I'll my phones relevant system info should be provided. Update 7/21: IT support has been in contact with me and has been trying several angles. Updated for excellent service!

It's nice to have an app that shows upcoming appointments, reminders, and what medication refills are needed. You can update your contact info for the hospital in here as well. For cons - I found it a bit odd it did not link to my CareClub account, or provide an option to link to it so I can see what I have left on my plan. They are 2 separate accounts for VCA. The load times on the app are a bit slow as well and the search function to find my hospital didn't work - I plugged in my zip and it gave me options for all over the country, even Alabama. I had to find it by name only. Still a nice app to have to manage appts.

Some features do not work. For instance, when I go to Invoice History, click on an invoice, it appears as if it will open (little paws walking). However, it just takes you back to the invoice list. Also, adding tha ability to pay through the app rather than texting a link would be a nice feature to add.

Can make appointment with it. Make have to call to make appointment. There's no point in using this app.

Appointment scheduling feature is useless! It doesn't offer available dates and times - you pick a date, go back to the appointment screen, try to select a time, find out there's nothing available. Go back, pick another date, try to select a time. Nothing available. Go back, repeat. Ridiculous! Show me what's available, and I'll pick something.

It took me a while to figure out that you have to change your preferred hospital to access all your pets if you are seen at different locations. Other than that, the app is great!

makes it easy for medications, appointments, and just overall keeping track of your pets health. easy to book appointments as well.

very helpful app, and simple to use. see invoices, make apts. and if needed message a vet for anything for free.

Haven't opened this app for some time, opened today, they did some redesign, which looks not bad, but the app just doesn't work. Nothing is loading, it's super laggy and not responsive. Such a shame. You should think about performance first and then about redesign. Such a disappointment, even when I tap the Report button nothing happens, looks just like some prototype with no functionality.

The app is super easy to navigate and the sections regarding the needs and care for pets at certain ages is very useful! The personalized pet data is useful to track any medications or vaccines my cat may soon need. I haven't used the app to book an appointment yet but I assume this is a fairly straightforward process as well.

I've left a review before and had a very good response back I'll admit. There must have been an update or something because after using it so many times, I get error messages and can't log in. Instead of 4 stars I'm giving 2 just because I literally can't open the app for months and it's the most annoying thing! My kitten has all the wrong info and I need to make appointments for her shots but my trusty app is shot.. it was good while it lasted.

wonderful app to keep up to date with your pet's care. it makes everything so easy!

I just set up my account, it was very easy and was excited to see my dogs information right there.
