Works as expected but why have you now removed the split screen mode? Being able to do split screen was very helpful, so points lost for removing this feature.

Works great when you first connect the camera via the main unit, but constantly "forgets" the camera, open the app and nothing there, I have to re-add it pretty much every day, which makes it absolutely useless. Such a shame as I did my research, paid a premium proce and the vtech had good reviews, but the app (a big part of getting a "smart" camera) is non usable.

This isn't a bad app. I have no problems with it when I'm on wifi. I have issues with it when I'm on mobile. I let my mom n law use the account I set up and it doesn't like when 2 phones are using the same log on so it disconnects one and you got to rescan the qr code and log in. The camera part doesn't work on load up screen but when I tap on it then it clears up. Is alright zooming I'm and it on the camera, but it's touchy. The music is a blessing! You can change settings on your phone.

I love having access to view the monitors when I am not home and being able to record and take pictures. I have had issues with the app not loading my login. It tells me it failed to login when I was already logged in and then I have to uninstall reinstall and hard reset my phone for it to start working again. It's ridiculous. Now it's not even working. It has major issues

Consistent with other reviews - this app and camera connectivity is absolutely awful and a waste of time and money. It is constantly saying that the camera is offline even though the WiFi is still connected and strong. It also frequently says that it can't log into the app. And the parent unit disconnects often from the camera as well. It is incredibly frustrating and I will never purchase another VTech camera. I'm upset that I even recommended it to my mom (before having the issues).

Great camera and monitor. Very clear picture and a large monitor. Never have issues with the monitor connecting to the camera but the app is absolutely trash. Definitely one of the worst developed apps.... always logs you out. Currently we can't even log in from the app to see the camera. I travel and like to log in and see the kiddos but not with this app you can't!

So I got the vtech rm5764 because I work I could see when the babysitter puts my kids down and when they wake up but it doesn't record the event much less show anything on the event log within the app (I've checked the settings 500x and made sure it turned on). Also half the time when I open the app I can't actually see what's happening bc the picture isn't even there so I have to waste time opening and closing the app until it does. The picture is mostly clear but often lags.

Not reliable for a nursery camera app. The more updates that are sent out, the more problems it creates. I have 2 cameras, it will only display one. The other will never connect. I reinstalled and changed cameras. Both cameras work, just not in the app at the same time. It also disconnects randomly throughout the night when the main unit is next to the wifi router. Internet connection is always good at 400mbps or more.

No problem with anything except the app, which is the biggest reason I bought the VTech system. I am my dad's caregiver and this allows me done much needed freedom. However, I have been unable to connect with the app without any success in fixing it with the normal fixes. Be nice if it was more reliable. Looking for something better. EDIT: Resetting the camera worked to get my phone connecting to my camera again, but the point is I can't reset the camera when I'm away and wanting to see my dad from my phone. Need to work the bugs out for sure. Thanks for the help.

Update: I've been unable to use my phone login. This is the 7th time overall. I am now keeping count. Until the update, this app worked just okay at best. It was kind of glitchy and slow but generally worked. Honestly, for how expensive this monitor was, I would expect much better functionality. Now it seems the camera doesn't connect to wifi and yet again, parental monitor won't connect via the wifi. There are connectivity issues with this unit that need to be addressed on a basic level

As of 1/5/2022, I updated the app because my camera wouldn't connect. Once updated, I can no longer log into the app. When I try, a message pops up "The email or password entered is incorrect". I reset my password, still doesn't work. I even created a new account with a different email and it still doesn't work. I wish VTech would at least remove this app if they are no longer working on it...and let us know that it's obsolete. Don't buy monitor for the WiFi connect because it DOESN'T WORK :(

0 stars if I could. The first 5 months or so it worked great, except the temperature was always wrong. After that, the monitor stopped working completely & was always in a blue screen reading "connecting to baby unit 1 (or 2)" & would no longer display the cameras on the monitor. For the past year we could only access cameras via phone app and now after the update we can't access the cameras AT ALL. Terrible waste of $. Too bad I can only write a 500 word review. But so much is wrong with this.

UPDATE: App is still not working and at any given time I can't monitor from anything unless it's at the parent screen. Uninstalled app, reset cameras, worked for 30 seconds then went back to nothing. Definitely the app. Absolutely ridiculous. Dumpster fire of an app after update. Can't see either camera and won't stay connected. Constantly searching. Just like every other review. Save your money or maybe. Just maybe. Vtech will get their act together and come up with a solution.

I've had problems with this monitor since day one. The app always crashes or says it can't connect to the camera. My actual monitor for the camera no longer works. I tried resetting it and it did nothing. It won't even turn on. So, the app is the only way I have now, to check the camera in my daughter's room. I'm disappointed and wished we didn't have so many issues.

Used to be good. Like it was mentioned in many of the most recent reviews, this app used to work pretty good; 9.5 out of 10 times, but then the new update came out in late October "to fix bugs and other issues", and it derailed from there. This app doesn't connect to both of my cameras at all anymore, it keeps showing that it reconnecting and fails to ever connect. Please, revert back to the previous version before the October update. This app deserve 0 stars right now!

Worst baby monitor ever! I've had consistent issues with this thing. Either the parent unit (blue screen) times out, and I have to physically hold the parent unit next to the camera and reboot both, or the app logs me out for hours, and every time I try to log back in it says "Login Error". There are no issues with our internet or connectivity here because everything else works fine. I wish I would have done the research on this thing before my fiancé bought it. Don't buy it! It's horrible.

It was working great other than the horribly inaccurate room temperature. But since the update (which is ridiculous because it renders the monitor unable to use for 24+ hrs prior to update) it takes longer for the monitor to connect to camera and the cameras show offline on the app. Then it becomes pointless for being able to look at our children on our phone. Very disappointed.

I had such high hopes for this system after we upgraded but lately I have noticed a lot of really weird bugs that make it unusable. It logs me out randomly and now my account is suddenly nonexistent. Says camera is offline and I've had to reset everything multiple times, frequently need to rescan qr code to add camera back after it stops recognizing it. I do believe the developers can turn this around if they fix whatever is causing all these bugs. Please fix:/

Edit: Now I cannot get my phone to connect to the camera on this app. I can only use the monitor that they come with. Even that is constantly disconnecting. This app used to work great with no issues. I've had this monitor for almost two years. Now here recently the app keeps signing me out. Sometimes three times a day. The point of this whole device is to be able to see my baby at night and to feel more at ease. That's hard to achieve if the app keeps signing me out in the middle of the night..

Lost connections. I have strong wifi, router is close to the camera, however still does not work. This camera is so expensive, however after two months it stop working, same thing all the time, lost connection. I disconnect the completly, removed cameras, and connected again, still does not work. I'm unsure what is going on but about a week ago the app and parent unit both stopped working. I disconnected the camera, I've gone on the app and have erased the camera and reconnected which seemed to work for exactly one day. Now only the parent unit will connect to the camera and not only does it take way longer to connect, but it also runs out of battery faster, and disconnects frequently. It seems to me that the update made everything go willy wonkey. Please fix.

Camera constantly disconnects. If an update is pushed out you won't be able to see through the camera on your phone for at least 24 hours. Video quality is choppy and pixelated. We get over 100mb/s internet and the camera indicates a strong connection to our network, so the quality shouldn't be having this many issues. Just overall a disappointing product.

I loved this app at first because it let me be able to keep an eye on my little one no matter where I was and my husband and I didn't have to share the main monitor when she was in bed and we wanted to do our separate things at night. BUT now the app keeps kicking us out and making us log back in. And I would love to log back in except for the fact that, even though I've typed everything in correctly and even reset my password, it still says "login failed".

The camera looks fine and in the app too. However, the camera frequently disconnects from the wifi leaving it in a buffering state. I feel like every week it's a new issue. Sometimes the white noise doesn't work, then it does. Sometimes the camera just won't connect. But the consistent one is the camera disconnecting from the wifi. And I have a 1GB fiber with strong wifi, so it shouldn't be happening as often as it does.

The app is great, except there is one major problem I have with it. When I have the live feed video pulled up, and suddenly my baby moves, then that pink "real time alert" box pops up on the screen and has SUCH a loud notification sound. It scares the heck out of me every time, even if I'm expecting it, and I can't tell you how many times that sound alone is what ends up waking my baby up. Other than this one MAJOR FLAW, the app is nearly perfect. But PLEASE consider fixing this issue. THANKS.

Overall it's good, but there are areas for improvement. 1. Reopening the app from the previous session (just placed in background), the app can never connect even though it says it is. I need to pulled down from the top and force a refresh. 2. I find zoom can be tedious with the touch screen. The issue I have is that when I go to zoom in, the app instead aggressively moves the actual camera. I wish the camera movement & zoom were two distinct options to avoid accidental camera movement.

Good, but a lot of glitches. The camera clicks between modes during naps and it wakes the baby up. The phone app continues to log me out randomly or forget the camera, so I have to add it again. The monitor battery runs out pretty quickly, but it's good for a night if you want to go outside or leave it unplugged one evening. If I could do it over, I'd probably pick a different company, but it's good for now.

So my wife and I just got this. We pulled it out if the box and got it all set up in like 15 minutes (our dog was distracting us, haha) it was a very well put together and informative app and instruction pamphlet. The camera hooked up right away and we did not run into any issues AT THE MOMENT. definitely recommend this to friends, the camera is responsive, obviously not instantaneous but it is about a 1 to 2 second delay(totally fine). If we run into any issues or problems, I will update then.

It works. I only downloaded it to use because I thought the parent unit wouldn't connect from out in the yard. Since it does, I dont really need the app. It seems to have a harder time staying connected than the actual unit - although the whole system seems a bit glitchy. Honestly, the last few vtech products I've purchased have been quite a let down. They used to be such a reputable and reliable brand. Not sure what happened.

This was never an exceptional app, only decent. It has always regularly and randomly disconnected my monitors, requiring them to be removed and re-added to the app (very annoying when you are not at home and unable to check in on your kids with the babysitter). Since the last update, nothing works at all. I cannot connect to my cameras at all. I removed them because they would not connect and now it won't let me re-add them. Uninstalled and reinstalled app. Still nothing. Useless.
