This app is Top class. Especially the "Stock of the month" selections, they are just top researched stocks. App is easy to navigate, simple. There news section is also very good. Very short & beautifully written write ups. News is not loaded too much (1 - 2 articles a day). Price is also very fair. Every beginner investor need to have this app to get a shortlist of stocks which are well researched. Recommended.
Probably best to stay away if you're not from the US. For countries outside, the brokrage they use charges quite a lot for deposits and withdrawals. After trying the app and finding it wasn't for me, I went to withdraw the small amount of funds I had deposited to find it'd cost an additional $35. Not worth it unless you know exactly what you're getting into. On the other hand, okay educational section on investing.
Fantastic app and service
Allows setting up a DriveaWealh account and trade using DW, but seems to offer limited integration with DW account. You even need to start a subscription with MyWallSt in order to be able to use basic "watch security" option. People here keep mentioning you receive news, but this seems to require an active subscription also. So the only free part is the brokerage integration with DW, with its downsides as it seems.
Excellent app! I didn't know a thing about investing, and their app has helped inform me. Along with my own research, investing in my favorite star stocks bit by bit has brought good returns. The info they provide has been priceless. Their subscription (along with my humble portfolio) is one I see myself holding on to throughout many years. The great thing is you can start out with little $$ and keep adding bit by bit.
I had left a poor review of this app, but I am updating it after I was able to get in touch with someone. I deleted my account after a few days. I didnt thoroughly use it as I wasnt initially comfortable the way it was set up. Customer service was friendly and great, just think I will stick with a person not an app.
So far so good with this app. I did a lot of research before I chose to use MyWallSt for investing and trading stocks. It's easy to use and fairly strait forward in the instructions. Stock trading is a complex maze of minutiae and this app is well done in its ability to simplify, as best it can, the complexities of trading. Two issues I have are you cant add stocks outside of what's chosen for you to the watch list and the commission fees are not well stated.
I like this app for the knowledge on investing. You have to have a subscription in order to use any of the Really good stuff, but if your on the Home button, it'll tell you about the market for that day. I only really use the Learn button for some helpful things on investing. After I finish reading it all, I'm gonna uninstall it. I've got enough apps that tell me about the market & create my own Watchlist. You have to have a subscription to even do that with this app, (pretty dumb).
Great app! Although I'm a little confused about the brokerage options. It says you can connect your brokerage account, but DriveWealth appears to be the only option to pick from. Good news is that doesn't really affect the core function of the app. It'd be nice to have.
This is one of the most excellent apps i have ever seen on planet Earth
I became interested in investing earlier this year when I started my first full-time job. Initially I just downloaded the MyWallSt Learn app, but I appreciated how clear and user friendly that was so I subscribed to this one. I don't invest via this app as I have a brokerage account that suits me better. However, I subscribe for the information (particulary the stock of the month). I also love that I got free access to a workshop on IPO investing recently and frequently recive useful emails. ✨
Very easy to use, frequent new content to read from the MyWallSt team, and a super convenient way to keep an eye on my stock portfolio. I even bought new stocks while riding on the tram the other day, with just one hand, it's that easy! Great work guys!
$9.99 a month (Response) Hello, Thank you for responding! When I posted the $9.99 and three stars it was more so that people that didn't know it was a subscription would know. I like the app and your other one as well. I'm just not in a place to spend more money right now. Again thank you for the response and I will make sure to check back!
Enjoying the Journey and learning at a decent pace with every article. What the team do very well is make you feel like you're sitting at a table having a beer with them, while they share their opinion. The best part is none of it is as biased as all those puff pieces on apps like WSJ and NYT... Keep up the great work I'm very happy I subscribed.
I installed, then found it requires funding through my Google account, which I don't understand because I have a bank account for money, not a Google account. Surely it's normal to fund any financial endeavour from a bank account, not a Google account. There are also some serious typos in the Ts and Cs which suggests sloppy work. They're is no list of the companies that I might be able to invest in, and I had some in mind, but no opportunity to see if they are offered. I won't be proceeding.
Honestly, it's a scam. You literally can't do anything except for accessing the news section of the app without paying. It's kinda disappointing because the Learn app was really good, so it's a shame they basically offer nothing more with this app. That being said, the UI design is very clean. Still disappointed though
Works good for a while collecting shared attributes to invest in savings accounts
Great app. Awesome experience. I'd like it a lot if the app made a chart with the dividends I'll receive so it would be easier to choose where to invest next.
Started using this app and it's subscription in Nov 2020 based on a friend's recommendation, and I had no investing experience prior to this. It's now Feb 2021 and I don't regret the decision :: free trial of the subscription :: great for newbies who want to invest long term :: informative and digestible info on select stocks :: not limited to the apps stocks; other stocks just won't have the analysis available :: helpful team :: majority of stock picks have performed well
You won't make money. Paying 80 dollars for only very limited business to pay in. You can't predict the future or business makes so there's isn't much of a reason to be paying for it . I also have a huge problem with withdrawing my money. Ive recently sold all my stocks and are unavailable to take out my money. Its been more than two days.
It's an amazing app an it is very helpfull
I recently downloaded mywallst and I have not been dissapointed. I find the app easy to navigate around, very informative and would highly recommend.
i'm new to this app and investing, but this app makes it fun and is very informative. I really like the insight they give with not only the current values, but a background with the companies and the direction they're going.
This app has helped me to gain an understanding of the financial markets, enabling me to out my money to work. Great app, simple design and fantastic service. Could recommend highly enough.
A great app, it has opened up the world of investing to me. It is very user friendly too and there is someone to always to talk to at their Dublin office if you need any questions answered.
Can't withdraw money, went through everything and get charge $35 each try for a withdrawal. If you are not from the US the fees are ridiculous and it looks like I've lost all the money I put in anyway because I can't withdraw
Installed and immediately uninstalled. There's no way to maneuver through the app to get a feel of it before you 1. Setup an account and 2. Link bank/google account to it and/or start a free trial. I'll stick with Robinhood for my investing and MyStocks portfolio for in depth coverage of my stocks.
awesome, easy to understand ,encouraging and loved the detailed lessons!
