Nice app to use, easy to get started but with lots of custom options. It would be good to have a high and low HR alarm (sound and visual - perhaps a flashlight option too as sometimes I prefer no alarms but don't want to be looking at a screen the whole time too). I would like the custom HR zone to default to what it was the previous workout. Also, it seems to forget the custom HR zone when saving a workout, defaulting to a standard one. Otherwise a great app I look forward to using more!
Superb app! Very impressive features with so much detailed information. Used this first for an outdoor run. Connected to my BLE cardio belt, it tracked my route perfectly. The maps are downloaded separately and are much more detailed than Google maps for example so make better sense for off-road running. Looking at the data, I've got everything I could wish for about my route and great calculations on my biometrics. There's nothing at all to fault with this app! Thanks!
I am myself a software programmer and so far from what I can see - well done! No ads, works smoothly with my ant+ hrm from decathlon. Very very satisfied. I certainly would pay a fixed amount for a pro version - monthly subscription I would dislike. I think it would be fair to introduce in the long run ads which you can disable by paying a few dollars :) keep up the good work, I like the grafics and UI.
Excellent. I especially like that its 'lightweight' in resource usage and works fine (with my two ANT+ sensors) on my phone from 2015. The only feature missing for my usage is some kind of configurable alarm/notification for HR zone transitions. I'd like it to be a vibration option rather than voice or sound since I use a different device for music while running.
I am using this for HIIT workouts using an ant+ chest strap. Worked well first time. I like being able to check my progressed time and instantaneous heart rate as I go, and this allows me to do that. There are three in workout screens to choose from showing more or less data. Post workout review is nice as well, graph of hr is precise enough to show each of my sets' peak and recovery. I would like the ability to upload my workout data directly to Strava. :)
Unfortunately I cannot rate this app very good at all. It fails to read the cadence from my Wahoo Tickr X although it does read the HR from it. Although there is no indication if it has synced with the HRM until the workout has started, when you might find out that it didn't sync and have to stop the workout and go through all of the steps of starting it again. The Google Fit sync/upload is woefully in inadequate. The only thing it uploads calories expended. No heart rate, etc. so Google Fit cannot calculate Heart Points or Move Minutes. I guess I am just going to have to keep looking for another workout app.
The most important to me was to be able to use the app without an account; for a free app, it's even better that it has this. You can export individual workouts and full-backup all to SD card (perfect for me, as I don't like clouds). No full-screen annoying ads.
I started using this app December 15, 2020 and it is May 20, 2021. I had to download the app three times, because I changed cell phones. This is the best app for my workouts of running, walking, outdoor biking and indoor biking. It has GPS, heart rate and cadence for biking. Need a sensor for heart rate and cadence. The only problem I had was getting a offline map, it would take me awhile to finally get the map. It is a great app for statistics and I enjoy them, especially the heart rate!
I use this app for mountain biking. It has great potential, but some improvements are needed: the UI design is not sunlight-readable, the speed and cadence meters' digits must be bigger, and with bold font. When the phone is mounted on a bike it is hard to see the numbers. Also real-time average speed indication is missing, and that's important for cyclists. The compatibility with a wide range of sensors is really a big plus. Good job on the graphs, would be nice if the height was resizable.
