N5 JLPT
* JLPT N5 APPLICATION***
App for who is trying to pass N5 Japanese language proficiency test (JLPT).In this app we focused into Kanji and vocabulary.In order to pass N5, you have to memory about 100 Kanji, 800 new words and 21 grammar formulas.This first version of ours is quite enough for you all.
Main functions of this app: ①VOCABULARY (語彙)
- Choose testing mode ‘GOI’（語彙）, our data of about 800 words helps you practise better everyday. We currently set a range of 10 seconds to memory a word. We are researching in order to adjust a suitable value in next version.
- For the test mode ‘Test’, we are currently support vocabulary test with English explaination.
②KANJI(漢字)
- KANJI practice: This part is designed similar to the part GOI, with data of about 80 Kanji we support you to memory how to read these 80 kanji in Hiragana.
③GRAMMAR(文法)
- Our data of about 21 grammar templates, helps you understand in reading and seeking grammar template quickly & exactly.Moreover, by this function JLPT N5 APP has specific examples for each grammar template.We hope you could memory the usage and how to make sentence.
④DICTIONARY(辞書)
- We have about 1000 words which helps you lookup the meanings faster.
- You also can use function Search for words’s meaning.

Gives a simple multiple choice test of the n5 grammer and vocab. It is a nice relaxing way to self assess those categories, but there is no listening comprehension.
This 'N5' uses kanji that is around N2 and N1 this is not basic and there is hardly any english. I would find a different one if I was you...
So it still crashes every time I start a test.
Great application, except for the grammar section. Just a bunch of examples that use Kanji way beyond the scope of N5. No grammar explanations either.
The only problem is the use of kanji with no furigana in the grammar section. There is no way to understand the kanji if I've never seen it before. Without jumping through hoops by using another app.
Lack of furigana or option to use kana only for vocab makes this impossible to use for learning new words.
Perfect if audio including. Thanks to dev team.
Crashes whenever I start a test
not much of a learning tool if you're unable to learn.
Best training app for n5.
On a tablet the text is too small. Only works in portrait mode. No clear feedback about right/wrong answers until end of quizzes. Odd colour choices.
Worked fine the first time i used it but wouldnt open anymore but it is an extremely helpful app.
All kanji for the vocab quiz with no furigana option like the actual N5 test

This app should be used more like a review exam rather then a teaching tool for ppl who dont know any kanji. Once uve learned the 1st 70kanji then use this app as testing tool .. the reason why i like these apps is because it tests u on not just kanji definitions but has a test using the kanji (with kana's) to make other words.... also the gramar portion of the app is done pretty well ....
