Hopeless! The old app worked just fine, but this thing is unnecessary, and most unfriendly to "update ". My device, which was used exclusively for banking, is now incompatible. If I am forced to use my everyday phone to do my banking, I am fearful that my account will be less secure. I am not sure what new features this app may contain, because I can't access it. If I can't get this thing working soon, I will explore other banks, in the hope of finding a better app.
Old app for personal/individual customer worked fine for years on my phone (Samsung S5). Very happy. Not so now! Told to update and told old app incompatible with phone. NAB Connect for business only and couldn't install. Now have to use internet banking which is not designed for mobile phone format. Thanks for nothing NAB. Please sort this out, at least by reinstituting the old app.
This is rediculous...I've downloaded both Nab mobile and Nab connect...they do not come up on my home screen and I cannot open either app to create account for me to use...this is so frustrating as I've been trying for weeks to do this...I'm an elderly pensioner and this is very inconvenient to my life..grrr
Seems to be a bug with Android 10 where you have to use task manager to kill the app between runs otherwise after putting in the pin code it'll complain the service is offline. Lucky I'm a developer of know about these tricks but could be an issue for normal users.
Firstly I will give an outstanding recommendation to the online customer service team for business banking. The lady I spoke with had only been with NAB for 9 months but I felt as though she'd been working there for 200 years 👌 not pushy, listened to every needs and concerns and felt like she actually cared. The App is straightforward and informative without no overbearing pop up ads commands to get to where you need. I'm actually quite confident and hopeful with this bank it's apps 👍
Could not use previous app as it was no longer compatible. Forced to download bew version but cant use it as it requires me to scan an ocr code which it has not provided me. I am overseas on holiday and cannot transfer funds for account payments. Very annoyed by it!
Makes me wonder if they have pizza delivery people answering their phones and their type chat. They cant answer the simplest questions. Its so frustrating to set up this app there was nothing wrong with the old one. But its just absolutely ridiculous to even get past the first part of set up.3 times I tried to talk to someone and they just ask stupid questions. Not even try to help you. Waste of 3 hrs
The NAB app I've used for years is now (without warning) incompatible with my device. Installed this NAB Connect app, but to set it up it requires a QR Code, which I didn't receive via email or SMS... so back to internet banking we go... until we find a bank that doesn't invest in fossil fuels. This app (and bank) deserves ZERO stars.
Far too difficult and clunky to install, old app worked perfectly but is no longer compatible with my device apparently, might be time to veiw other banking options 🤔
Very secure but would be great to send a payment while on the go...also would be great to have more than 1 device being able to access.. 2 owners but only one owner can access the password creator
Downloaded the app because the other one was no.longer compatible and I couldn't use it because uou needed to scan a code. It's ridiculous. I liked the other one I was using . It was easy and great to use. Please change the app. I won't be using an app for banking any longer until it is changed.
Worst banking app ever, so useless seriously you have enough money from us to make a safe secure app for your customers now with this nab connect you can't even access your accounts because the information is not sent to activate it. How are we supposed to access our accounts when your app doesn't work, really disappointed I've been with nab for over 10 years and in the last 6 months you have gone from bad to worse really concidering changing banks who have there act together.
Have to constantly "Force Close" app to be able to login. Otherwise receive a login error. Very annoying.
zero stars what's with this new app? plus what is going on with the nab trade now? I am definitely changing banks nothing seems to work with my phone now that nab wants the apps updated. does nab want me to buy another phone just to use their apps??????
Unfortunately the app no longer works for my phone. It was working perfectly and how I can't use it. Makes it really hard. Thinking of switching banks because of this!
I cannot get this trash to work. It really upsets me when without any warning clowns disable perfectly good apps and replace them with incompatible garbage like this. If I can't get something to work I will be changing banks.
Every month I get an error message saying my details don't match and have to ring NAB to reset, which is fine if you're in Australia, it's a work day for banks and you're on the East coast.
Horrible. Normal internet banking ap not compatible with my tablet. Was on Monday, not on Tuesday. My tablet not old. This ap is not for internet banking. Now have to use website with user name and password. So inconvenient. Nab, fix up ap so we can all use it.
They make you update,when I did I needed an email to activate the account which I never received. Nab make it so difficult to access my money in my account..
I cant update my banking .the app wont download.says my phone not compatable.gallaxy.7.you closed the local branch.if i drive to the nearest thats 80klm.they will tell me same. My option would seem to be get new phone.ill get a new bank!!
For 2 weeks l have been asking staff at various branches (and on the helpline) if they could help help me work out why my new app would not work on my phone. Yesterday a lovely young man in the Pit st branch explained that NAB has decided to discontinue making phone apps available for my model of phone. (Samsung S5) So if you are one of the people here who has an older android phone, you need to use your Web browser from now on, or get a new phone.....
I didn't receive a code so this app useless. And the previous app is no longer compatible. So i no longer have a NAB app. No announcement or anything.
Cannot access my banking anymore due to your software changes. My old phone samsung s5 is now definct in your eyes. Not happy Nab. This is dreadful service.
Bad app, why ask to update when it does not even work with my current OS. My other banking app with other banks still works fine.
I was requested to update the app But when I tried it says no longer compatible so I have no app unless I buy a new PHONE and that's not happening I may change banks.
The old app worked great suddenly not compatible??? New app unable to download... What the heck.. Terrible customer service. What gives
NAB you updated the app, it's no longer compatible with my device and the hoops to jump through are ridiculous. I understand that you want to be security safe but you've made it more difficult than it needs to be. I've been banking with NAB for 20yrs but I think I'll be moving my financial interests to another banking institution. Too many disappointing moves by NAB in the past few months.
