Incredible app! The best I've seen for practicing singing in tune. Simplicity at its very best. Feature request: Learn/Game Mode. The app plays a note and you have to match it. This would be a great incentive to practice. You could score the session with a simple average of how well you hit each note. This would tell us exactly where to practice!

Half works, half doesn't. It sometimes will tell me the pitch but most of the time it's completely off. I sing a low note, it thinks I'm going high and vice versa. Tried it with two different microphones and same issue. Just not accurate enough to teach me anything. It detected whistles just fine though, but singing in my natural voice I can't get it to draw a solid line without it shifting wildly. It's like it thinks I switched a whole octave when I haven't changed a note.

Simple but genius UI for seeing what notes you're singing in real time, and how their pitch changes so you can hone in to be perfectly in tune. I've been looking for an app that does exactly this for a long time. It would be great if you could record a session! Can't wait for updates :)

Well I know that the air conditioner sounds like D2, and it is great to be able to see your breathing. It is a game changer to see your improvements with sustaining a note when working on expanding vocal range and pitch accuracy. It is a very well made tool and I'm glad I bought it. It cost less than one sandwich, drink, and fries. Worth it.

Works as advertised! I've also been using it to practice violin and as a tuner. Most of the other apps on the play store are filled with useless fluff and ads, it's refreshing to see something that's lightweight and doesn't try to accomplish everything under the sun.

This app is not what i thought it would be. It looks fun at first but then you quickly realize it's not at all accurate and actually it gets notes wrong. Is it just me or is that on purpose to force you to buy the app in exchange for a dollar store quality product that i doubt will last longer than a pair of cheap headphones.

I sing in a bass range. It can't pick up my chest voice at all (E2 - E4), or locks onto random harmonics. It does pick up my falsetto (A3+). I tried adjusting the noise gate threshold to 0, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and full, and sang at 0ft, 1/2ft, and 1ft from the phone, before I wrote this review. None of it worked. The app I use to tune my violin, guitar, etc (Pano Tuner) picks up my whole vocal range, so it's not a problem with my phone. (2020-11-17 Edited after dev response.)

I've picked up the habit of imitating song birds with my whistle... And it's gotten to the point where I would like to learn to command a specific tune, and this is where Nail the Pitch has been a wonderful tool. I simply whistle a scale and then fine tune my tone based on what this app displays. I look forward to challenging the local mocking birds to a duet.

Saw your /r/fl_studio post; great job! Pausing and zooming out might be a good feature, as well as replay for a certain key, perhaps? As in, once you have sung a certain pitch, the app can replay it to remind you how it sounds, for training.

Really great idea. I love the pays feature you just added. If you could allow scrolling through the piano roll after pausing that would be very useful as some notes go beyond the screen. Also, the fact that the app is horizontal seems unnecessary but it's not a big deal. Thanks for this really useful app!

Fantastic app! My one suggestion would be to add click handlers to the note labels on the left side of the screen, and play the note when it is clicked. I'd like to be able to tap a C4, for example, and hear the C4 pitch through my speakers

I work with synthetic vocal systems for a hobby, and downloaded this to help with making my pitch bends more realistic; it was exactly what I was looking for! Wish there was a way to zoom out so you could see more at once, but other than that it is great!

If you don't know squat about music or learning keyboard for the first time, this app will push you further than the others. The app is not perfect as yet, but it does work. I hum a melody and composed on keyboard and got exactly what I wanted. You don't need to rely on copyright loops. Make your own music.

I really like this app! It does what I need it to for a first design. Looking forward to the next iterations where you can pause to hear yourself back/be able to correct pitch errors. Brilliant job

The accuracy of the pitch is just mind blowing, the no non-sense interface makes it super easy to use and keeps you focused on your practice. This needs more downloads ,glad this exists.

I'm an out-of-practice bari/bass. I expect my own precision to be garbage. But this app isn't very helpful when note detection is spotty at best below A2, and nonexistent below D2. But the others I've seen are worse, so.... Eh! Has promise. Maybe my phone mic is also garbage? Pretty new Pixel 3XL tho.

Gre. S. Mar 8, 2020

Very Good: notes are wide so corrections to pitch are precise and obvious. Good: Keyboard! Yay!, but it's on the wrong side of the screen :(, it's ok ;). Bad. Can't scroll up and down (or left/right) after pausing.

Fun and super useful, what a great idea. I think this could be a really powerful tool if the function to export as a midi file is a possible feature for the future. Loved it so much bought the pro version.
