I have been a very loyal customer, having spent well over $1,000 so far. After earning a few $10 rewards and the party for 10 at the $1,000 level, the Rewards section of the app stopped working. I can use all other parts of the app, but click on Rewards, and the app closes. When I login on other devices, same problem. Friends can access theirs on the same devices, but they have no rewards. It's not a coincidence that I can't access the rewards I earned. Fix it soon or I'm done with Nando's
Frequent order issues. One time the app said the order went through but the restaurant didn't receive it. The other time the app said the order did not go through due to an error and said to try again. I did and the restaurant received two orders. Canceling the first of them was time consuming and required the manager's assistance. Please fix your IT problems.
Horrible. 2nd time using tried to use my prior order. Nothing happened. Went thru menu and added items to order. Upon order review, the previous items then appeared along with the new items. So proceeded to follow direction to delete the unwanted items, then screen froze, then a simple error message appeared with no further info including next steps.
Nando's appears to have replaced the app entirely with "Nando's N.A. (North America)". It would've been a decent idea to add that notification to this app to download the new one instead of just the login failure at the home screen.
I don't usually write reviews, but I had to for this app. Nandos now has a rewards system where you scan the QR code in your app to get points. However, any online orders THROUGH THE APP or their website does not count towards your rewards progress which is absolutely ridiculous. If I wanted to pick up Nandos for lunch, in order to get rewards, I would need to order in the store and wait 20 minutes for my food instead of planning ahead and ordering via the app.
The app almost never works. I have to re-install all the time for the chance that I might be able to checkout. Most of the time it just gives me an error message. Also the rewards can't be used with the app. Its pretty awful. I love Nandos though...please fix this.
Nice app when it works. Extremely low rate of success. Now it's just crashing on the login screen, can't even get to the menu.
This app never, ever works anymore. I go through the process to select a location and add a bunch of menu items before the app fails at "Review my order" every single time. Really terrible.
False advertising. Received an email saying $10 after first order. I downloaded the app and place an order for $30 and picked it up. I never received the $10 credit for next order.
This app is really not helpful - no ability to customize sandwiches by subtracting items or adding them. No ability to type a note on an item. Had to call store to clarify, and thus could not do drive up.
Still unable to use the app. I try to log in and it says session has expired. It's been like this since 11/22...
It used to work. I'm at the Extra Hot Loyalty level too. I guess no more $10 off rewards (for every $100 spent) thing is I'll go to the 'other' place that has Peri-Peri chicken. You've lost a mega customer. Fix the app.
Crashes/won't go past log in screen since Fall 2021. They've updated the app in iOS but not Android. Shame, it was my #1 lunch spot at work but no loyalty program for their prices = no point going there.
Doesn't work. App has a bug that the developers need to fix. Can't pass the login screen
Cannot login. Apparently I already have a levelup account, despite changing my password 3 times I can't login to the app. So it's completely unfunctional.
Dropped my review to 2 stars...seemed to work OK before, but now you can't customize your items (e.g., add pineapple to a sandwich) and the loyalty reward seems to be set to $1 per $100 (instead of $10). So generous! LOL
Worst app ever, they just used this so.you can spend money I was about to hit the extra hot level just for $5 when I was about to order the app didn't work, then I uninstalled and install again and all all the points dessapear now I start from the beginning.
SUGGESTION:Have a tabbed design like the Chick-fil-A app where the tabs are always shown at the bottom of the app. Have tabs named Locations, Rewards, Order, and Other. Please try them in that order with the Order tab in the middle for easy reach for left and right handed users. BUG: I added tenders to the Avocado & Roasted Pepper Bowl and it showed the selector for the Peri-meter twice.
Yo Nando's....your stupid app doesn't work. Can't even get past the login screen. I can't imagine how horrible the rest of the app is after logging in. Hire some competent programmers!
App simply does not work, every time I click "Reciew my Order" I get an error message. Will happily update the rating if the app works correctly
Can't pay in cash and earn rewards. That sucks. I'm not much of a card payer. I'd much rather use cash. So for me to not have the option of paying in cash and still earn points is really wild.
When the app allows you to finally login, it won't work...cherry on the cake: the app warns me that my new reset password is not working, just to find out by contacting support that my credentials were exposed "on another app or website"!?? How come, and why didn't you warn your customers about this...? Avoid at all costs
Apparently the only way you can use the rewards system is by ordering via phone or in store. So why even have a rewards system if you can't use it though the app or the website?
"review order" attempted. says "error occurred" after i added stuff from kids menu... tried uninstalling/reinstalling etc. couldn't place an order.
This app sucks, added items and then went to "review order" then got "error occurred" and couldn't order.
I've never been able to successfully submit an order through this app! Totally defeats the purpose, no?
Useless Can't even look up restaurants without signing in and for some reason it says I have an account when I just downloaded this app today Use the mobile site instead, much better
Doesn't work the majority of the time. No way to contact nandos in app regarding them constantly messing up orders
It works, but I have to be on LTE instead of wifi to place an order which needs to be fixed.
Garbage app. The rewards system is screwed as other reviewers have noted. Some dishes have a messed up configuration -- for instance, it's impossible to order a Thigh and Mighty sandwich with two sides without adding a whole chicken breast to it, because someone made that field "check one" instead of "check up to one." It's just riddled with poor user experiences. What a poorly thought-out, hasty app. Nando's could do much better designing one in-house rather than letting these novices do it.
