Naplarm - Location Alarm / GPS Alarm
Naplarm is now being used in over 140 countries around the world.
The word Naplarm is a combination of Nap+Alarm. This is quite literally the objective of the app!
Naplarm uses your location to alert you when you reach your destination. This is especially useful for long journeys during which you might want to take a nap.
Factors such as traffic, the route you choose etc can affect the total duration of your journey. This is why conventional time based alarms are not useful while traveling.
Naplarm on the other hand uses your real-time GPS location. It is therefore rightly named Location Alarm or GPS AlarmThis means you can rest assured you will be woken only when you are near your destination.

Naplarm is like a location tracker - it keeps track of your location in the background while you rest and will wake you up when you reach your destination.
Note: Naplarm finds the best possible location using tools such as GPS, mobile network, WiFi. However due to GPS being the most important of these, Naplarm may not work underground (e.g. while travelling by metro underground)

Extremely useful. Does what it promises. Only problem is that alarm is not so loud if I my phone is connected to car speakers via bluetooth. Some option to fix this would be good. Still, very practical app, I found it because I was hoping someone came with this idea and this app did it perfectly. Very user friendly also.
Best App I've used. You're so tired and exhausted from all the work and headed home. You start to fall asleep and you pass your stop. Passing a bus stop is not as bad as a train stop. Now your ride home just made things a lot more stressful and frustrating. This is were Naplarm comes in. It will wake you before you approach your stop. You can adjust the geofence to your liking. It is definitely the best. I bought to get rid of the ads and never looked back.
Your app is Marvelous! Does what it says. Also works offline after you set the alarm. That's pretty brilliant. I have one request, add an option for entering coordinates, so that the app works offline also. That's what I was looking for and found your app. With the option for entering coordinates, your app will be in a different league all together. Hikers & Trekkers can use it. Thanks mate
This is the only one that actually works on my device Will rate 5 stars if I can assign an individual alarm sound for each Naplarm. Each alarm turns off after, make it to where it can repeat. also, It would be nice if I can have an image to upload
Developer! Idea for optimization. I don't know how is now, are square roots often calculated. If yes, you could add option to activate alarm when more east/west than given longitude, or when more south/north than given latitude. I'd appreciate a feedback. Wanted to give you an idea about dynamic GPS requests, but you already have that. Amazing!
It worked great until the most recent update! Now I no longer get a persistent notification and when I try to open the app after a setting an alarm it force closes. Please fix! It's a five star app except for that! Edit: It's all fixed. Thanks to the developer for the quick response!
I am in love with this app! I initially got it for naps on my long commutes, but now I use it when when awake- for reading, watching shows on my phone, or just drowning in social media. No more looking out the window, searching for something I remember, wondering if I accidentally passed my stop! My commutes are much like just relaxing at home! Thank you Naplarm!
Very useful app. If you are a frequent traveler via bus this is a must have, naturaly it goes without saying you will need a power bank as gps needs to be on thus the need for Power Bank. There is a smartgps option but haven't tested it out yet. No ads. Very simple clean interface. Accurate. Does the Job Precisely as described. A shout out to the developer! A Job well done!! 👍🏻
although the experience is great , I find it quite tedious to set the alarm to active every working day, so if there were an option to do the following , it would be amazing and I will give you 5 stars immediately : add (a list of normal time-based alarms) and (an event calendar) tabs in the app , and let the user be able to link each location-based alarm to automatically be active at any of these time alarms and calendar events, in a many-to-many manner
It's good really. It has a bug that you have to edit a schedule, don't change anything, and then activate. If you don't do this, direct activation makes the schedule expire and activates the alarm at that moment.
It doesn't work anymore. Now when I start it, it just displays a splash screen but there are no menus or anything to select. I gave it 2 stars because it was working fine for some months. Now it is useless. I have a Pixel 3a with Android 10.
It would be great if automatic alarm settings available to start at specific time everyday, so that when returning from office in office bus, it would be helpful. Also it woukd be great if there is widget for my alarms with start button.
Great app! Simple and intuitive. I like that alarm only sounds in headset when connected. Note that last update (30th Dec) made the app stop working, resolved by force stopping app and clear data.
The app works well. I wish the app had the option to schedule alarms to start on a schedule so that every morning on a workday I'd get woken up when I'm arriving at my destination. I still like the app a lot though. It would be very useful if the alarm would end on its own after a few seconds. Once it's alerted me I don't want to bring out my phone to toggle the alarm off. Also I'm still hoping for the ability to schedule alarms.
