Does not work with Synology, tried local IP and even specifying port 5000 which works fine over the browser directly

Don't waste your time with it. Completely useless, doesn't find the NAS automatically and impossible to configure manually.

it automatically connects to my Qnap, but refuses to connect to Synology...

They are exact clones of the official qnap apps, unless he designed both of them this seems like a violation.

Impossible to connect to my Nas. Does not see it nor via ip nor via dns address. The other apps (ds audio, ds file, ds download, ... have no problem to find it though.
Cannot connect everytime used.. I have just deleted the app and just changed my NAS admin password. It might be a way to gather passwords and nothing else!

This is almost exactly the same as QManager, except appears to be a few versions (a year) behind. Once in the application, the only difference is some things don't work. Background Tasks empty where as QManager shows the tasks, as an example.
