Easy to use and good voice for narration. Best free audio bible I've tried. ** update 3/27/19- for some reason app now never stops buffering except to say "error connecting to audio file." *** update 4/25/29- ap is working again and appears to have been updated and works great. a lot of ads but best audio bible ap I've used yet. easy navigation.
This is a very good NASB audio app because it is easy to navigate from book to book or chapter to chapter. I'm not crazy about the narrator; his pacing, pronunciation, and too-nasal tone are not the most pleasing to the ear. But the app is better than any other of the similar apps I have tried.
Like the voice, though pace seems slow to me. Like continuous play thru chapter and absence of music. Copywrite reminders in every book annoy. Wish this voice was used in the NLT version of this app, as I find NASB a little awkward overall. God Bless and keep you.
a little disappointment I was reading as long with the audio in Proverbs 3 and the written part just stopped while the audio went on. hope there his a fix for this and that it will be done. then I would give it more stars forsure.
I loved this app but for some reason the audio has stopped working. It keeps telling me to connect to the Internet and I am on WiFi. I loved the hands free and I would fall to sleep at night listening.
Too many ads interrupt my bible study and thought process. It's a constant battle trying to navigate through the advertising just to read this version of the Holy Bible. I do not recommend this application.😣
Blessed by this app - just one issue - could you possibly add a feature to auto play the next chapter as the previous one finishes? I like listening while I'm doing chores or relaxing and it can be a little frustrating having to get my phone out again and select the next chapter to play. The voice and his reading tempo are very good. The app lacks a way to save where you last stopped. If developers could get that feature added it would get a five star rating.
I love it when it works! have used it for months but suddenly it says audio needs to be connected to internet..but it is connected. I hope I can fix it, I will continue to use and love this app. I have an android phone.
11/2/19 ...OUCH .... NOW A PIECE OF JUNK ....This was a great app until today. No NASB text just audio. Buttons dont work or dont work well. Speed control is a REAL disappointment. .... 09/30/19. Great bible app. Speed control on audio is great. I read from genesis to revelation about every 60 days. This is my favorite bible app.
You can downlaod this whole chapter on wifi and watch offline! However.. the app only saves one chapter at a time. Finger in nose. What can i say: It's basically free. Four and a half stars :).
Clear , easy navigation to verse and books of the Bible. Narrator reads at a good speed and excellent intonation. Delivers each verse with clarity and understanding.
would have gave more but 5 is all they let me. very user friendly and I am old. audible is awesome... just check full at the top and it plays till the end of the book and then will repeat if you don't stop it
Top notch item, good vocals. The text is unnecessarily tiny but overall it's a simple straightforward good audio version of our holy bible to unite with one another.
Not dramatize and I don't like the reading, having a hard time concentrating. The voice just isn't right, it feels lifeless. I gave it two star because it is audio.

Excellent! Makes studying God's word easy and convenient. It saves time, which allows more studying. Great app.
I enjoy the narerntor, though Alexander Scourby is one my favorite. I like this reader, too Read, plain & simple and but yet dramatic. where a beginner can understand.
The audio reads one chapter then stops. I can't find a setting for continous reading of an entire book.
It's says free audio, but when you hit the audio button you have to download and connect to internet. very misleading!!
Enjoy the different readers voice and tone, they make the Bible come alive, also the historic music elevates that experience. Thanks
Great,my suggestion is that there can be an option for continuous reading instead of a chapter by chapter stop,otherwise for me its helpful.Thanks
To get to audio not east, one must slide to get the audio bar. Speaker moves faster than verses are in mition upwards. Noticed many words missing in a number of books e. g. Deuteronomy 4.20 Egypt, 4.44,45,46.
I've had and loved this app for a long time. Now all of a sudden it won't play the audio. I have the same phone, but it won't buffer. it days error accessing audio file. All my other audio apps work fine. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. I even tried a different bible from this developer and it is doing the same thing...so sad as I used this app daily.
