NASM® CPT Exam Prep 2017

Be scrutinizing when using this app - while it presents a great platform, with excellent variability, there are noticable questions in which the context does not logically point to the desired answer. It is also possible to encounter contradictory information to what was written in the book, large in part by, I'd imagine, over-extensive editing or communal loss of understanding toward the question itself. I recommend the book over this app, though it is still a valuable asset at times.

I passed!! This app was a tremendous help! By doing every assignment in the course, and doing countless of these exams I felt ready and confident when I walked into the exam. I love the explanations for each answer, they helped explain each answer so I'd remember it the next time. Thank you. So glad I found this half way through my course. It was the biggest help.

This app was a fantastic tool to help me study. I had zero fitness background and this helped breakdown the scientific language as well as the technical structure of NASM's program. This helped me get past many learning barriers and I was able to pass on my first try. I couldn't have done it without the aid of Pocket Prep.

It was a very useful app and a great tool to study on the go. Since we are already always on our phones anyway, might as well be productive. The explanation and statistics on the questions was great. It really helped me memories the difficult terms I had on this topic.

I paid for the classic to help me study. It refuses to load it with what I paid for and when I tried contacting someone over it, they responded 2 days later with "can you show us the email showing you paid for it". I sent it to them and still nothing back. this has went on for almost a week now. I will be uninstalling this app!

This app is 💯% worth getting...especially the upgrade. I passed my nasm cpt exam on the first attempt and I feel that wouldn't have been possible without the additional help from this app. The way they explain the answers and show you where in the book it comes from so you can go back and gain understanding is fantastic! It's SO much better that way than just telling you the correct answer. THANK YOU to all the developers of this app. It is the best!!!

Love this app!!! Just took my test and passed on 10/22/18. App has about 800 questions (paid version of course)and answers/explanations to each one and where you can find in the book. This is a very handy tool but like most people would say, don't memorize the answers but know it or know the reasoning behind that answer. The test gets in depth with their questioning but with this and the study guide you should be fine. Passed on the first try. Great App.

Has issues with validating your purchase of the first pack "Classic" access. Was working fine for the first day, then all of a sudden stopped working. This became a burden rather than a tool for studying. I am kinda disappointed, but at this point I just want a refund.

I love this appt! I passed my exam on the first try. I used this appt along with the videos and study guide that came with the prep materials. The appt really helped me get a full understanding especially when I got a question wrong and it gives explanation on the correct answers and where to find it in the book.

I passed! This app is totally worth the expense as long as you use it two to three times a day and complete all the questions. I used the app for 10 weeks, two to three times a day and was challenged every time. This app will challenge you so much that it will increase your awareness of the style of questions you might be asked and build your knowledge on areas you might see on the test. I used it as a companion to the full NASM CPT study program and it was very helpful.

I passed the test on the first try with the help of this app! I read the book, watched the videos, completed the online NASM quizzes and practice tests and I still didn't feel mentally ready. This app made studying enjoyable and accessible at any moment. It really helped me retain the info by constantly drilling it.

I just started using this app and so far it has been super helpful and very useful. The quizzes are great because they are from all of the chapters which really helps when needing a refresher on things.

Just passed NASM cpt exam with ease. 120 questions under 45 minutes. I finished the self study program in a month and a half. I did about 100 questions a week with the pocket prep, went over all the explanations on the questions i got wrong. A week away from exam day. I did 300 questions a day, 100 at a time. I Made sure i passed every attempt and completely understand the subject. The pocket prep made it so much easier to study, instead of reading over my notes. Thank you!

Good practice test, especially if you didn't buy the expensive package. Free questions are very limited. Have to pay more for whole thing. Overall I really like it.

Great app! Had only a month to really cram in my studying for this but really only used the app for about a week before my test. This helped me out a ton! Gives feedback and explanations on all answers with sources from the book itself. I definitely recommend the 20 dollar upgrade as it gives you 400 practice questions which turns out to be very helpful. 800 seems like a lot but I was able to pass with 400 question upgrade. Awesome practice app and highly recommended!

I had the app for a week (free version) then I bought the largest full time subscription package and now it keeps freezing and won't open, when it's working it's great! Please fix

The questions and content are great, but after taking over 150 questions, I noticed that the correct answer in the app was always the last choice. I reached out to support and received the solution to fix problem (reinstall app) within less than 24-hours.

I think this app took an unexpected, but not completely bad turn after the most recent update (adding 300 questions). If you look at some of the questions that have been added, you can see that the format doesn't match the format of the questions from the study guides and practice exams that NASM provides. Some of these questions aren't structured in the way that NASM wants you to understand the material. That being said, the app has helped me tremendously. I would just suggest that the developers get an editorial opinion from a NASM certified trainer (preferably a master trainer). That being said, just by using and looking at the app, I can definitely tell that a lot of people put a lot of time and hard work developing the app and questions. I'm taking the test in a few days and I am fairly comfortable with the material (partly thanks to this app). Whoever uses this app in it's current state will receive ample benefit; just remember to adhere to the structure of questions that NASM provides in their course material and keep that question structure in mind while studying.

highly recommend!!! helped me a ton. passed my test the first time. I did purchase the guarantee which unlocked so much help!!! I didn't have to worry about having my laptop or books with me to study. with pocket prep we always have our cell phones and quick 10 question test kept the information fresh. Thanks!!!

Well, this app started out good. After having it a while I've noticed so many glitches and crashes, ironically they started happening right after I gave it a good review.

Loved the app up until it recently started taking forever to load the app, seems to refuse to actually load up unless I uninstall and reinstall the app, I've done it twice now please fix whatever bug this

The app has great potential for being useful -- love the explanations and the interface -- but the price point seems a little high.

This app is good for what it is but it does seem that the questions are not structured in a way that you would see on your official nasm exam. They give great explanations but it seems some questions are not clear on what its asking unlike the practice exams on the official nasm course you sign up for. Stick to the online test, those questions are exactly what you will see on the test. And are not rewritten question and answers by the developers of this app.

I passed the NASM CPT test (3-22-2019). I found Pocket Prep test questions to be extremely helpful on what and how to study /prepare for. 70% of the questions were on the exam and most of the other questions were similar. Thanks for your help and I would highly recommend Pocket Prep for anyone taking the NASM CPT exam.

it's a good app for study but it keep Geeting stuck and I need to reinstall it every 2 weeks or so ... I told them before but all I've been told is to remove and reinstall it which is getting annoying after a while .

Useful but I wish this was included in the course materials rather than having to post to social media to get more practice questions... after all I paid for the course...

Super simple, easy to pick up when you have a few minutes. love the listed sources!

I am a beginner and so far I enjoy the app. Though I would love longer tests for free and the ability to test on different chapters as well as mixed chapter tests
