This is the shittest app I have ever used 😂 forgets my account so my password never works. The link to change the password doesn't work. Trying to sign in automatically with a Google account doesn't work. What is the point of downloading the app if I have to re-enter my details every time. I may as well just use the website. Absolutely useless and frustrating.

Total joke. Tried to book at ticket from the airport on the app. Was informed that this incurred a £1 booking fee. I then continued through the purchasing process only to be met with a notice that read "We are sorry we are currently experiencing technical issues.... ". So I went to the ticket office and bought a ticket from a human being where I wasn't charged the £1 booking fee! What is the point of this app??

I am in the same place as Ruth. It was easy to book but then I got charged £1 for the booking fee and I thought I would have 'solid ticets' (you can have them delivered or so I thought). I spent another £2.50 for an A4 sheet of paper. I assume somebody had just printed off the e-mail I was sent. I wont be doing that again and I didnt want ticket or trip insurance either. Another waste of time and money. Thats why I gave it 2 stars

Shockingly poor. Extremely concerned for my personal data when using their web/app. Many issues with account, password, password reset, finding tickets, etc. Much proper IT work needed. Impossible to log in using the app and always having to sign in as a guest at the end.

Awful service. The app doesnt work well. Calling customer service is not free (we are in 2022, wake up!) I paid to call,waited 8 mins, no one available, I was charged and then the call ended by itself. The recorded voice suggested to speak to someone on the chat, I did so and ended up speaking to a Robot who advised me to call them. Unbelievable. What kind of outrageous service is this? I'd expect much much more from such a big company

Despite all the bad reviews, I find it works OK once you get used to it. Selecting From/To/times works well, although a return ticket might be confusing the first time. A good Booking Summary is shown if you tap on 'Booking Summary' just above the 'Pay with card' button! You only log in after you've chosen your bus times. Would be nice to have a 'view password' button. Then it fills your name in for you but you have to enter address details yourself everytime, as well as payment details (maybe not so bad from a security point of view, but most apps do it for you). You have to switch occasionally between the upper part of the screen and the lower part (which slides in and out of view). Not always clear what you should be doing, or where. The app reacts (very) slowly sometimes and if you tap on a button twice, you may find you've actually made a selection on the following screen. After booking I had to download the ticket myself, after which it was shown correctly in My Bookings. I recommend doing a few dummy bookings without paying, to get the hang of it. After that, using the app OK. So to summarise, not bad, but could be more user friendly in places.

Very poor non app (it's just a frame for a web front end, really). Incredibly slow, lots of redirects and page refresh going on all the time. Gets into loop very easily. Tickets bought are not kept, you have to manually search for them. I understand most of these may be server end problems and not the app per se, but something is clearly badly designed or implemented. The user experience just doesn't work.

I always use apps where possible for travel tickets, I'm not sure I'll be using this one again. Firstly, I generally have to transfer to another coach at some point, once the first driver scans the app, the ticket disappears for the next part of the journey so I had to load up the email (in an area with bad signal which took ages) secondly, not all drivers accepted see the app ticket and asked for the email anyway, seem like a pointless app for that. However booking is very straightforward.

A great app for people who don't mind traveling slightly faster than a snail. I call it relaxing. Others will call it all sorts of negative things. But coach travel is generally slow and tedious but when you have a car that needs fixing and there's no other cost effective option, and if you're not in a rush for a business meeting it can very very enjoyable. So accept coach travel for what it is; a comfortable and relaxed way to travel.

The app used to work fine for me and I really liked it, it made travel easier, but now out of nowhere I cannot open the app. It goes to a blue screen and won't open! It's been this way for around a month. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, restarted my device, cleared cache, but it still does this.

Used to work perfect, till about September, since then it's just useless, can't load all the coaches, if I eventually manage to find a ticket and try to purchase, it ask me to add all of my personal and bank details, every time, and quite often their server run out of time as the app connection 8s so slow, so i have to reinsert my details few times, that takes me half an hour or even more, unacceptable. I'm uninstalling it.

Its a very bad app. It looks like the webpage is embedded in the app. The app is just the same like the webpage. Both are slow and not usable. The app cache wrong data. Sometimes pages/windows of the search results closes automatically and goes to the start page. This app driving me crazy. Its sad that a company like national expresses released such an app and webpage.

Didn't see the summary option when booking a ticket and thought that l would have the option to review my booking prior to making payment. It cost me £5.00 extra as a consequence. When l booked again, l clicked on the summary button to check my travel arrangements. This app would be improved if the travel details were automatically brought up prior to payment, giving the option to change or confirm travel dates, times and destinations.

Absolutely awful, not even worthy of one star. The app won't even open. Instead, a message appears stating that it won't open. It's not one occasion, multiple occasions and different devices. This confirms an app error not a device error. Hope their physical service isn't as bad as this!!!

No good just showing all destinations. Needs to narrow down by where you can actually get to from one stop. Several searches attempted with 0 results. No map. Tried using the website which does have the map facility but impossible as the mobile site does not display properly making it impossible to even fill out the form to search for a journey.

Doesn't load your ticket when you purchase it with the app, you have to upload it using the ticket number. Also asks you to log in after you chose the ticket you want to buy (regardless of being in the app on your phone in the first place). Shoud be simplier.

Disappointed that there is no time tables showing. You have to physically attempt to book a ticket before seeing what is possible. Sometimes you just want to see schedules especially when planning trips and then decide which time and date you would like to travel. Also when you purchase a ticket you need another app, a google or apple wallet to store your boarding pass. It should be available actually on the National Express Coach app itself. W

If I could give negative scores I would. This is wholly frustrating to attempt to use on an Android phone. It sends you in endless loops and wow betide if you try to add coach cards for multiple passengers. The bottom line, this is an app to book coach tickets and it fails miserably. Spent 30 wasted minutes attempting a simple return journey and IT FAILED repeatedly. Didn't get past the timetable search. Sorry but this just rubbish. Do you actually want our business?

You dont even have the option to log in. The app just says you have no tickets and asks you to book one. The only way I've seen an option to view my tickets is on the 'Coach Tracker' feature, which downloaded them in some sort of proprietary pkpass format. Furthermore, after simply pressing back after doing so the app has now crashed and crashes every time I try to reopen it. Every bit as useless as the f****** company that runs it. Also, get rid of VUER from your coaches. It is a joke.

This is a worthless app. Bugs don't get fixed. Complaints don't get acknowledged. Emails go unanswered. Journey prices wildly vary depending on whether you are 1 or 2 travelling. One pays for a Coach Card & then not able to use it as you can't enter more than one card. Finally you are invited to register at payment tine BUT having done so once you would think that there would then be a login facility at the beginning of the app for later bookings. NO

Waste of time for anything other than displaying ticket for travel which you can do just as easily via emails. All booking management has to be done via the website, can't even book your return on an open return ticket via the app. Very disappointing and really don't see the point of using the app at all.

Use to work really well (except not being able to book more than one trip at a time but I think they do that so you have to pay £1 fee per booking), now I can't even open it. Constantly crashes. Such a shame and really frustrating. NE are lucky UK train services are an even more over priced mess...
