National Weather Service

It worked on first day. Seemed like a great weather app. But now I get constant weather data not available messages on WiFi and on 4G. Best guess is the servers don't have enough resources to meet the demand during major national events like the current events. For being a NWS service, disappointing.

I like the layout of it and especially that it is ad free, but the temperature wasn't accurate. It said it was 61 degrees, but it was actually 57 degrees so unfortunately uninstalled it. Wish it also had a feels like temperature listed.

Annoying, constantly notifies U of weather, even when set to only 3x day. I Clear it, chged settings, tried refresh 120min even, but still pops rite back in triplicate w/o any alerts, reinstalled X2, won't stop eating battery, everything. Luv the voice Hazard alerts reason I got it.

The National Weather Service has always had a very good web site. Long before the days of apps I used NWS.gov, all over the Midwest on large scale construction projects, for accurate forecasts, up to the minute watches and warnings and excellent weather radar. Check out the Forecast Discussion tab if you can. Excellent information and a glossary.

Used to work really well. But it has been going downhill for months. I have not seen a long term forecast in days, and the last time I got one to display it was several days old (still showing Wednesday and Thursday on Friday). Today it refuses to show any forecast data at all.

I love the extensive weather service alerts and the easy reading of the app. I appreciate that is free and free of ads. I have not had any problems yet with this app. Thank you!😀

Clear layout and easy access to all the options. Not nearly as localized as MyRadar or Weather Underground, but forecast discussion makes up for that.

This is a good app and you can access a weather map from Asia to Russia (going the other way). Nine to see hurricanes form and progress, and the weather in Europe.

It's my go-to app for weather info. Everything works well & tends to be relatively accurate (of course, the accuracy is the NWS' responsibility, not the app's).

I've had it a few months now. It's been on target with local stations. It contains all the pertinent information for the everyday user and it's user friendly. Also appreciate that it is ad free.

Interface is a little overly large, but the app functions well. Would like a more info rich widget without a clock or image.

I especially like the forecast discussion. Having retired from the NWS, I like to get the forecaster's reasoning behind the finished product. I wish the time was included on the hourly data though so I could tell if it was current.

I have settled on this app as the best of the bunch. It loads quickly and I'm not bombarded with ads. Best of at least 8 I've tried.

Has all major info. Links me to National Weather Service. Ad free. Alerts in friendly voice. Great small app with links to bigger service. Notifications just enough detail.

Works as described. In my experience, the NWS usually produces the most reliable and honest forecast available, so this app does pretty much what I want a weather app to do.

By far the best weather app I have ever had...Immediately uninstalled my Weather Channel App. A must have for anyone who does not live under a rock.

This was a good app until recent update. Now it is stuck on current weather of 4 days ago. Please fix , I don't want to change.

Best weather app available on the app store. Why: pilots rely on this type of info and as an avionics specialist I freaking love it.

Great Weather App with information straight from the National Weather Service. Easy to navigate and understand.

This is where your local station gets it's forecast, now you can get that anytime. Lots info for meteorologically challenged.

Widget stops working when you use any app - you must restart to get it working again.

Since the last update it works only intermittently. Big frustration!

More accurate than most weather reporter. Dew point can be off sometimes.

Great app, easy to use, loads fast, very accurate, best weather app I've used...
