Love the service, but this app isn't finished and needs more work. When you try to add pictures, you're confronted with thumbnails only of your ENTIRE photo collection. You can't even click on them to see which photo is the one you want to print. You can't access your favorites or albums. And you can't access the app from within your phone's photo gallery either. I would prefer to access this app from within my phone's photo app, see a photo I like and add it to NPL app from there.
I don't usually leave reviews, but I am really impressed with this app. I've been sitting on pictures for over 2 years of my trip to Netherlands because of the aspect ratio I took them in. They printed all of my pictures in 4x8's and they turned out great. And the biggest thing is I didn't have to crop anything out!
Glitchy - I can create an account, but that's about it. I click "prints" to try to get to my gallery and the app just crashes. I've cleared the cache, uninstalled/reinstalled the app, etc. No avail. Bummed since the website interface isn't delightful. Was hoping for a better experience with the app.
Had a hiccup with my order. Gave a quick call and they were more than happy to assist and set things right. Great customer service!
When you go to select photos from your phone, it shows all the pictures on one huge list. I like to make a album on my phone of the pictures I want to print. It would be so much easier if I could sort or just browse by the folders on my phone. Not have to scroll though 3000 pictures.
Upload speed is painfully slow. Also, there is no way to select which album to upload from, which makes it near impossible to find the ones I wish to upload. I ended up moving files to my pc and uploading from there. All of the above renders the app near useless for my purposes.
Unable to complete order, uploading for 30 minutes then kicked out and order is now blank. Made my phone get very warm while using app. No way to order color correction like you can online and you can't pay using PayPal either. You give access to your phone pictures but there is no way to look in separate albums. I have contacted customer service because I do want the 10 free prints promised but I will be uninstalling and ordering online like I normally do after this experience.
App takes forever for pictures to load for me to choose. And this is from an album of 32 pictures. And when it comes to editing, I've been waiting hours for my 11 pictures to load to edit. I'd like to avoid going to my laptop and do it all from my phone, but this app is making it very hard.
Very happy with Nations Photo Lab photos. The app is sleekly designed and allowed for easy connectivity to social media apps. Could be my internet connection, but photos from Intagram loaded slower than others. Overall, I'm happy with how intuitive the app was and how easy it was to order and edit prints.
Easy to use to print pictures. It's complicated to change paper type in app and you can't pick all the different items, but the interface is easy to use and checkout is simple. It's hard to see full size picture, though.
This app has a lot of issues. When trying to choose photos from cloud sources, the thumbnails load at a snail's pace. Even after painfully scrolling through and choosing photos, the few chosen photos won't even load on the edit step. Please fix this app. PLEASE!
Appallingly slow upload. After hours of the spinning wheel of doom, only three photos (all well under 10MB) had uploaded when I checked my gallery via the website. Order options menu was much less robust than on the website. I do not reccomend this app and will be uninstalling it.
UPDATE- After review good corrections were made. I have had good experiences with Nations in the past this was the first major issue and they resolved it in a timely manner due to my review. Thank you for the correction. "Print was damaged so they sent a reprint. The second one came back damaged and they were going to send a reprint or a refund only after 25 days that was frustrating."
Easy to use. Prices affordable. Great offers. Only con was I thought the pictures were slightly slow in loading to bring them up....unknown if it was just my phone or if it was the app. Overall great first time experience!
I had no problems uploading photos for them to print. The problem came when they took my money they didn't tell me an estimated turnaround time. When I asked a representative they sent me a link to their website with production times it said 2-3 business days. 9 days later nothing, no email or anything from them. I look on the website which had been updated 17 hours ago their production time has been changed to 6 days. That is ridiculous. I have no editing for them to do and only need 7 photos.
I can't get this app to work correctly on my Google Pixel 3a. It continually shows that it is loading the photos, but I never actually see the images. Continually crashes and won't connect directly to my photos on my phone.
Works well! Only thing i had an issue with was when trying to add multiple photos and changed to 4×6 it kept saving them as 5×7 and i would have to delete them and add 1 at a time. Other than that i enjoyed the 10 free 5×7's!!!!!!❤
App crashes when I opened it. After I uninstalled/ reinstall many times I gave up. To bad, National Photo Lab looks like a good photo site. I'll never know. If they hire a new developer I may come back, but probably not.
The app is very convoluted and complicated, it repeats forums, it repeats the order. My photos are well edited and exposed and they are delivered to me dark and discolored. some photos good and others bad. without definition and with spots. I will not use it anymore, the ones from walmart are better despite being fans. I used the website before to order prints but first time using app. It's very easy to navigate, I'm pleased with my experience, and was surprised by the 10 free 5x7 prints. Awesome!
Absolutely useless. As is customer service. My pictures show up as red exclamation marks, and when I emailed for help, I got no resolution. I can't use it at all. So frustrated.
First time printing pictures and extremely happy with the luster print option! Looks so vivid! Only downside is having to pay shipping cost and having to wait 4 days for it to arrive.
I just placed an order thru the app. It was straight forward and quick. I imagine the shipping and delivery will be timely based on my experience with the easy ordering process. Thanks!
Just crashes the instant I click "order prints", and it looks like reviews have said this since at least November. It appears that they aren't planning to fix this.
Poorly released app. All photos on phone are dumped into one location, can't sort, can't select by album, can't find the photos I want. Not user friendly. Uninstalling
Glad to see its not just me having issues with this app! Its SO SLOW. Photos take FOREVER to go thru. The only reason I used this app to order my prints was bc I didnt want to take the time to try another app after spending an hour trying to get this one to work. Wont be using this app again.
Ughh I've been trying to use this app and nothing but problems by pictures won't sync over it freezes after I select my pictures and won't let me continue on. Ughh really don't recommend this app!!
Generally a great app. One thing that would be appreciated is if i could see folders of photos, because i sort mine and have thousands i have to dig through otherwise.
Can you guys make it easier to choose photos from my gallery. Its christ mas and I have to pick from a bundle of 3,000 photos in my phone and I just wanna be able to pick from the albums I already have set up in my phone's gallery. Other then that I have not gotten any issues with you guys.
I used to love this app, and I order prints like crazy. But for the past couple months the instant I select "Order prints", the app crashes. Every. Single. Time. I have updated it, I have uninstalled and re-installed, nothing. I cant even use the app at all and the website is a little cumbersome if you're not using a laptop/computer. Please fix this issue. I want to rate this a 5 because it has worked in the past, but the app is useless now.
