They update your profile, renew your insurance, but don't give you the option to pay on app. And I guarantee I'm still gonna get messed up on it. They email a bill. I looked at the app. It didn't show anything owed. Then I got a mailed notice saying you owe money. Checked the app. Couldn't even select it to do anything. How can I pay what your app doesn't say I owe money? Finally logged in online and saw the balance owed. But I had already received a paper bill. It's fugged. Just know.

I love talking about companies that make the world an uglier place with their ad campaigns. I didn't need to hear YOUR JINGLE for the 1,000th time and I'm not a toddler, your repetitive ads only got you on my NEVER EVER TRUST OR DO BUSINESS WITH list for your DISRESPECT. I'd appreciate if you'd stop harassing me... and that's what constant non stop ads feel like these days. Keep up the evil work, yall are doing ugly very well.

This app is the most dumbest app IN THE WOULD! Why would the app have you use your fingerprint to sign in and STILL want to send you a verification code for you to relay back to them in order to verify your identity????!! Are the people who created this app ignorant to the fact that a person's fingerprint is unique to that individual?! Talkin' about going above and beyond, it's a waste of time each time you want to sign in! UPDATE: Two months later and the issue is still not resolved! FIXED! YAY

Got the device a week ago. For some reason this app is crashing every time i try to check the summary, so i forced to use my PC. Regarding the program itself, i was pretty sure I'll get the maximum discount but i was wrong. The failure is idle time, and it's red already, after being yellow. 76 miles, no nighttime driving, no hard braking, no fast accelerations, but 25 minutes of idle time and 10% discount only. Yes, I do have a remote start feature and I use twice a day for 2 minutes each time.

Have to log in to view ID cards. What a step backwards from the Allied app where you could view all your ID cards without having to log in to the app. Doesn't even show all of vehicles. Allied app showed our 3 cars and the 2 motorcycles. Customer service-oh you can just download them to your phone. Duh!! I shouldn't have to. The Nationwide app has it right on the login page but it doesn't work.

This app worked great at first. Then a few months ago it stopped working properly. First it would not let you enter your name and password unless you backed out without closing the app and then reopened it (and that didn't even work all the time). After you were able to enter your name and password and press sign in, it would load forever and never actually go into app. If the app is inaccessible then it is completely useless. Very disappointed.

Cheapest insurance I could find. Easy to apply, great tool to help build out an insurance plan that fits your needs. Easy to see how changing certain policy features effects your total bill, easy to modify your plan. Easy to place claims with fast turnaround on payment. Only thing that I would change is the ability to pay a portion of your amount owed monthly, instead of only allowing the total amount to be paid through auto payment on the day it's due, some may want to pay early!

This app is terrible! Its almost useless. it takes an extremely long time to load up, even when its already open! Its not intuitive and the logout button is right on top of where you tap to access options. I just switched from Allstate, and their app was exceptional. Nationwide could take a clue from them and rewrite this pos. Hire better software writers!

The app is really easy to use and with very little issues. The only issue I have with the app is when you make a partial payment close to your due date using more than 1 card payment, it does not show the remaining balance of what you owe during that billing period. I would recommend that you write what you owe down so that you pay what you owe in full to avoid late fees during that billing period.

In comparison to other providers, this app leaves much to be desired. As an example, I filed a claim for damaged windshield. When it took me to the Safelite form, none of my information such as policy number transferred. Not sure if the majority of us would have that info memorized. I have used both Geico and Progressive, both of which are more user friendly.

When I first downloaded this months ago, I was able to log in quickly. Now I have to constantly close out and reopen so I can at least enter my password. I like that I can cancel automatic payments if necessary for my bundle of car and renters but I cannot do the same with the life insurance payment. I can live with that, but trying to log in is very painful...PLEASE FIX!

Infinite loading screen when trying to log into the app. Says try again later, server unavailable. When trying to click on the username fill in section the text box doesnt appear. You have to click on the screen multiple times and slide to the other screens to get it to pop up. Seems a little too clunky and less convenient than using the website.

DISGUSTED! This company makes me absolutely sick. Ive been with them for nearly 10 years. In the past I have been maybe 2 or 3 days late on my payment and they would call, text, or E-Mail. Apparently last month I missed a payment and they did NOTHING. I went to make my next payment, and they cancelled. They didnt even notify me that my policy was cancelled! Then they wanted $260 for reinstatement and $1,100 for lapse in coverage!? Needless to say, Ive switched Companies and saving $30 elsewhere.

It's literally unusable. I couldn't get past making an account! Claimed to email me a password repeatedly, but the emails just said it 'set up a username' for me. Finally got it to text me a password instead, only for the app to fail to connect to their server. Attempted to use their photo uploading service for a claim and it crashed repeatedly.

I cannot login. I put in my username and password to login, but a notification comes up saying "Sorry, the connection dropped for a moment. Would you please enter that again? I've tried it again & again, but the same notification comes up. My connection is good on my end. Everything else works & I have full bars. My Wifi connection is fine. The problem is with the app.

Updated review: No one can seem to make the app work properly for me. This has been going on for well over 2 years now. However, it's also an issue with their website so I think there is more to it than just the app. Their customer service makes up for every issue I have though. It is excellent and if anyone has issues with the app or website just don't try fixing it and stick to using their phone line. The 3 stars is only for this app. Would be 5 stars for the company.

I've used this app for years. My bill was due yesterday. I tried to pay, and it kept saying could not process. Try again later. Did that several times. Tried again today, a day late, and the same thing. I had to log onto the desktop site, which was a huge pain in the A, as it had me verify identity with stupid captchas for every step. I better not get a late fee. Pure garbage!

Terrible, non functioning waste of time. Create your account, but you have no access to view, quote, or research anything account specific. Its like an advert for what Nationwide has to offer, but can't on the app. I actually went on to quote an additional car. Now I have to shop around to competitors.
