Natural Disaster Monitor
- www.gdacs.org. The app shows the latest natural disasters like earthquakes, volcano eruptions, tropical cyclones, tsunamis and floods as color coded icons in a list as well as on a Google Maps backdrop; the icon colors indicate the alert level
- green, orange, and red. The icon will look more transparent the older the event was published. Clicking on the item will bring up more details about the disaster event. UTM or geographic grids can optionally be displayed on the map.
The current version will no longer be available for Gingerbread handsets. However, the previous version 2.1 for Gingerbread can be side loaded from this link https://www.dropbox.com/s/tti3qlmzohxr3hd/Disastermon-2.1.apk.

Just a curious question from first time user. Why isn't there any detail of volcano. As we know it's been 85 days since La Palma's Volcano is erupting... 85 days and there is no sign of it. 🤔
The only bad thing is that it those not have a alert alarm, they should at one.

Works perfectly well for me. Reckon an instant response or alert notification required. Can you redesign its simultaneous response to any detections.....cheers!!
The Ads are over the top, way too intrusive and take up too much screen space. Also, there seems to be little or no USA Alerts. There are NO Settings to control Alerts and area of interest except for "Grid line color". I'm unistalling this APP, hoping that there will be a better version offered in the future. I would be willing to pay a reasonable price for an APP that fits my requirements that is without Ads.
Thank you for providing this app for those of us who abandoned Disaster Alert after IAP ruined it!

Basic global view but lacks customisation options.
This app was downloaded out of curiosity. It is very concise in geographics and may be useful if you are travelling.
Cannot restart. Only able to use the application once, after that it wont go anywhere but an "error" message. Too bad theres no other similar application

The app was great, why would you need to add permissions for accounts or WiFi?
I LIVE IN NORTH AMERICA AND IT DOESN'T EVEN SHOW ALERTS FOR FLORIDA!

Somehow, nowadays there's no marks for whatever recognisable disaster on the map. Only on the list.
