This app allows a setting of seven beats per minute. I teach bus operators for the largest transit district in Oregon. We scan ALL mirrors every 5-8 seconds. Using this to gently remind my students leaves me free to help with other aspects of training. Yes I use it occasionally to keep myself actively scanning. Good habits have a way of deteriorating. BTW this habit applies to all vehicles. Suprises are not meant for driving. Nothing comes "out of nowhere."
NO ADS!! It's the simplest metronome app on the play store, which is what I was looking for. It goes all the way down to 1bpm, which is great for if you want to have the metronome click once every 8 measures so you can practice keeping a steady tempo on your own. It goes up to 300bpm, which is faster than I will ever need it to go. Furthermore you can choose how many beats per bar and how many subdivisions of the beat you want (from 1 to 16 for either). Great app!
I never thought I would love a metronome. This app has been nothing but a pleasure to use. It has facilitated countless hours of practice with no invasive ads or pop ups. If you are debating between metronome apps, this is the one. There are a variety of options for how to parse the beats in a measure in order to feel where the micro an macro beats are in each measure.
Awesome app. I've used it for nearly two years. Does exactly what I need, never had a bug, has the features I wanted, & no advertisements nor interruptions. For clarity, my needs are simple; only needed a metronome that allows me to adjust the tempo. There are other features in this app that I've toyed with, but I've not needed them. Anyway, this app is a solid 5-star for me.
This is fine, does the job better than others I tried. Basic, but enough for what I need. One gripe - even with the accents turned off so that there is no time sig, eventually you will hear a strong accented beat after a while. This is presumably because the click is a loop which started with an accent. Mildly off putting.
Love this app, use it every day a few hours a day for drumming practice. So simple and so pleasant to use. A request for an option to reverse the high and low sounds, make the low sound the main beat and the high sounds the subdivisions, also perhaps another set of sounds, maybe a low clave, agogo bells, some more wood block sounds, maybe shaker sounds. All best. Sat Naam.
Have a look at the permissions that the other metronome apps are looking for. Then have a look at the permissions this app is looking for. That's right! None! There other apps want to own your phone. That aside this is a great app you can buy some extra sounds it you want, I did to support the developer, but no ads regardless. Really simple and easy to use. Really nice app 😄
Nice simple interface and functionality. No privacy policy (like others have)! It's a metronome! (What could they possibly expose me to?) Feature request: 1) type numbers, too, so I can get presicion quickly, 2) add a timer to shut off after period of time for mental exercises.
I like it because it is easily adjusted from one tempo to another. My old electronic metronome is adjusted by single taps on the +, raise, and -, lower tempo buttons. That's important during warm-ups on scales, etudes, and sight reading. My 68 year old lips will only last so long, and then you're done!!
Very handy. I use this app at home to time physical therapy movements where I am supposed to "hold for a count of____". This way I don't rush through the motion. I even use it while at the rehab center with volume on low for the same reason. I would think this would also be great for what it was designed for, music beats
Best free metronome I've found. The only thing I wish it had was the ability to skip beats to practice guitar strumming patterns. Maybe numer/letter them too. Really flexible yet easy metronome app though.
This is very helpful. Especially with the visual representation of beat changes. Even without the sound practice is possible. Way to go. Should check if this app doesn't stop in between after sometime of continuous practice. Because some other app, for reasons unknown, suddenly stops in between.
This app has been very helpful with my fitness. With the ability to play the tempo with the screen closed, I'm able to just turn it on and leave it in my pocket, and then walking alongside the beat is a breeze. Has helped me improve my workout.
This metronome is just that: a metronome. It does exactly what I want it to do, which is play a click at regular intervals. I've been using it for hours of practice and not once have I been interrupted by an ad.
I have taught dancing for over 50 years & now I teach Senior Fitness classes. No matter where I get my music from there is always a part of the song where I can't find OR keep the beat. Thanks to this program, that won't happen again. I now have any BPM I desire. Thanks!!
App is simple to use, but I can't figure out how to get rid of the accent beat. I'm a mental health therapist & I use a metronome to help some of my clients regulate (it's a trauma thing) but I need a steady beat with no distractions.
Awesome app I have never been able to use a metronome because the ticks and toc totally lose me, I have never been able to play anything else than black notes while listening at a metronome Because this one has a graphical representation, and let you select the number of times per bar, I am finally able to work with it It's a game changer for people like mr
I love this app sm it's the best metronome I've ever had and the first I could hear while playing. I love the visual aspect and the fact the downbeat sounds slightly different so you can be sure you're on the right beat. 10/10 would recommend
Currently learning the saxophone and needed a simple metronome. This app works perfectly on my very old smartphone and is more convenient than the one built into my keyboard. I use it regularly and recommend it.
The only app that actually has a nice pleasing mechanical metronome sound that is comfortable listening to. The app has no ads and a very aesthetic and soft interface with all the features you need. It's all on one page and is straightforward while allowing any subdivision of time you need.
I love the simple practicality Infinitely adjustable. I GOT rid of the adds right away... $0.99 who is going to complain?!? Thanks. Just what I needed. A metronome is essential. Yes?
Perfect metronome. Nothing extra, all the necessary. Simple and functional. Pleasant sound. A horizontal orientation mode would help though.
Honestly could not be happier. A very good metronome with all the settings I need. Easy to set up and use with very good interface. Ad free too. Thank you.
Really awesome app for my guitar practice. No ads like stated, and a clear easy to use interface. Invaluable if you're working on your timing. An easy 5/5 stars.
Simple and easy to adjust. Works great with other apps. I had this app, an interval workout app, and a music app all running and sharing the sound/speaker with no problems.
as a producer, I'm saying more cowbell pls! guess what you can add cowbell but truly its a metronome and it helps me learn and get my timing down. I find the different sounds easier on the ears than some of the other ones for download, enjoy!
Pros: 1. Free (unless you want different sounds) 2. No distracting ads 3. Easy to use 4. Has a "keep screen on" facility Cons: 1. Click keeps going after I close the app (thus I have to remember to stop the metronome before closing) 2. Visual beat markers not in sync with audible click Summary: I only wanted something very basic, mostly just 4/4 with a bar click, which this has, so this seemed ideal. However due to the cons mentioned, I'll be looking for something else.
