Nature Cast - Chromecast

I don't watch much television, football and the odd comedy show, but I like to have it on the background. This app is awesome, it's non intrusive and very relaxing when listening to music or reading a book etc. A lot of my friends have commented on it, and gone out to buy chromecasts purely on the basis of wanting this app. Best of all, it's free. Great work developers. 5 stars

As close as one can get to bringing The beautiful outdoors in with you. Fabulous cinematography. Peaceful, relaxing. Just the RX. for Cabin Fever on cold wintry days. Still not like being there though. Places Where you have never felt more alive. Bottle up that clean , crisp fresh air and water. And incorporate that into the app. Will Never have to go backpacking again..Wonderful idea and execution Devs.

Videos didn't seem very high quality. Sometimes blurry or choppy. Colors seemed artificially enhanced. Then the music seemed basically the same on every video I played. Was expecting more relaxing sounds that matched the theme. Just gave me a headache.

Videos wouldn't load for a hour or two today, first that's ever happened, but now all is well. A new problem is the app crashing when skipping and/or after the Uncharted ad. Everything else is great, videos a nice, and ambience is relaxing.

App has been force stopping when connecting despite a data clear and backup restore for over 24 hours. So, I send an email for support to find that paying customers like myself are simply getting their emails bounced by developer's Office 365 account. Find reports here being ignored too. The problem seems to be server-side as when you connect to the casting device is when the app connects to their servers to load the videos. There is some money I will never see again it seems for what turned into nothing.

I play the app on my home theater system via Chromecast and the sound and visuals are absolutely stunning! Lately (Dec 2016)inconsistent loading (very slow) & recent issue loads in HD 1080p and quickly drops to SD 480p, used to load in SD & then switched to HD. Please reboot your server...Thanks!

This app trumps all other scenery/aquarium/window apps. The videos are on par with Youtube and the options are many and equally good. Very well curated a collection of scenes. This app turns my TV into a Harry Potter magical window. I bought the app because it excels at its mission, the author deserves support. New videos are a tad expensive though, but the preview option is great to be sure. Thank you! I freed my mobile space by deleting 4 mediocre apps when I found this one to replace them

Update : this was one of my favorites apps but now I can't open the app anymore... This was a great app. I bought many of their videos, but I can't watch them anymore. No more updates, they just took my money and run away.

Used to work. Now does not. Cannot reach their support. Email is undeliverable. Facebook page states the last comment was in 2016. Stear clear!

I put on the coastal forest and was lying down on the couch and the next thing i remember was waking up! It was such a peaceful sleep. You will love this app. I dont watch TV anymore so this is perfect. TV not gone to waste afterall.

First this app didn't work, is slow as F# and after the millionth try when it does work I see a hazy wallpaper on my screen with Background sounds. Seriously? How are ppl even paying for this App? Uninstalled immediately.

App crashes when i try to cast.... I'm on galaxy S8Edge please fix I really would love to see the app work

Update 11/14/17: App functions again. Had to report it to Google after it seemed abandoned for so long. Great for TV picture frames.

What happened? I cannot get the app to connect with Chromecast. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but that didn't help. When I open the app, and tap on "connect", the TV screen goes blank for a moment, as if connecting, but then Chromecast reports it had a "brain freeze", and I could try again or use a different app. Is there a fix for this?

The quality of the video is not impressive. It's not 4K. On my 70 inch 4K tv everything looks rather unremarkable.

Crashes Everytime I try to play it on Chrome cast. Worked when I first bought it. Now it crashes every time.

I love setting this up and catching my children lost in Tanzania or somewhere else as beautiful. I just wish it had a dog and cat channel for my boxer. It was worth the money to support good apps like this.

Great quality video content. A relaxing visual experience. I enjoy using it to help lull me to sleep at night.

Connects easily to Chromecast, lots of free beautiful content options, and you can pay for more variety. You have to watch one ad on your phone/tablet before playing a free backdrop. After that it plays flawlessly for hours with no major hitches.

It's very real like being in the scenery of your choice. Like virtual reality very addictive 👍

Crashes every time I select which Chromecast to send to. Completely unusable. Nexus 6P

Don't waste your money anywhere else, there is better free content in naturecast than you will pay for elsewhere

You can stop looking, this is the best app for casting awesome background content. .. much of it free

Am I supposed to be able to control the volume from my device? Because I was unable to... Just trying it out now for the first time, but that stood out as an issue.

Good app..gets quirky at times and makes you watch a few more commercials at times. Other than that, pretty good aoo...im enjoying it!

App does not work on up-to-date Galaxy S7. App crashes upon attempting to connect to any Chromecast device.

Constantly crashes. Use to work perfect but now it just crashes all the time.

So sad. App does not work anymore. Crashes. Was very handy.
