Doesn't work half the time. Facial recognition security works 1 time in 20 meaning it can take many hours to do a transfer. I'm closing my account as a result. Useless customer service too. In answer to their reply the online help bot doesn't work half the time too. Just tried a transfer and so system not working try later, waste of time.
Update Failure! Since the latest update, I can log in and view balances on accounts but not transactions? Latest update installed, WiFi connection superb and no issues on Natwest status page. Tried numerous times throughout the day, please fix ASAP! Same for all family members too. 🤬
I tried signing on with the app yesterday - it simply doesn't work and I just get an error message that something went wrong (not very helpful). From other reviews it seems like it's been happening for a while but NatWest aren't doing anything about it.
I haven't had full use of this app since installing it and have asked for help numerous times and got nowhere . I now find out that the app is NOT supported for Android users so to get full benefit I have to buy an apple phone or iPad. Nat West makes life difficult by restricting over the counter banking services encouraging people to go online but don't even fully support this service. Just typical.
I'm not the only one, but obviously there's an issue with android where the log in details I've used online for several years are deemed "incorrect" , which renders the app totally useless as you cannot get past the login part. 0 stars isn't an option, but would be more reflective of the actual performance. Very frustrating.
This update has made scanning cheques unusable. The app doesn't give you enough grace to centre the cheque up within the boundaries before a read error appears. Please fix this.
Why 1 off mi accounts is removed from the app.and why 1 or 2 payees have been removed from mi accounts.the account are setup for direct debit. Now how I going transfer from mi savings to the other current account..if mi phone bill not will bee paid this month. I will not going bee happy. Because mi phone is paid to company off the phones and mi phone is paid to finance company. So u have mi number inside the app.before u removed the account u should contact me before u change it..

I can't request a new banking card in the app which is no good. Can you please ensure this feature is available, thanks.
Biometric facial doesn't work I am therefore not able to make a new payee or change a reference To remove biometric you have to use it to confirm its me and it doesn't work¡!!!!!!!!!!!
Looked at the reviews prior to installing this App. Some said it came up with incorrect log in details message. Well installed and attempted to use it! EVERYTIME I attempted to log in it gave me incorrect log in details message. Never did manage to access my account via this app. Now deleted. What a complete waste of time and energy. AVOID this APP!
Forced to update the app which i've done and as per normal when they make you update it you have to re register but this time not even that works, you just get a message saying that they cant establish a connection to you. I've been into my local branch who said that lots of people are having the same problem and they are working on it but it's now been over a week that I have been unable to use the app. I am seriously considering moving my accounts to another bank.
A dozen times a month the app does not let me access my account due to "network errors" or some other vastly vague reason. My data is 4g/5g on the UKs biggest network (EE) yet the problem does not seem to be fixable. Really not ideal when you travel abroad for work, after all, it is an International Account for this VERY REASON. Disappointed.
worked great untill update June 2019, now, "error 04, security check failed", can't use it now. this is an Android problem but intiated by the latest app, need to download or roll back to older version. the older version worked very well, wht oh wht do these geeks mess when nothing is broken, guess they need to justify their salary.
This app is nothing short of useless, I have accounts at Lloyds and decided to open an offshore account with Natwest. It would be great if you could get past the set up process but this app refuses to recognise its own security code it sends to your phone! I have made several attempts to get it to work and in the end have deleted it from my phone, as my patience level dropped. Very irritating as I was hoping to be able to use the app like I do with Lloyds.
Generally good, but why can't I add my Natwest Mastercard credit card? Apparently one can on the Barclays app. Still no progress on adding Mastercard account
useless, won't even send me an activation code. accidentally deleted the app whilst having a clear out and now can't get it to work again. tried both international and main natwest apps. nada. absolutely zilch.
Are the apps working as I can't get into either?
The mobile phone app is self explanatory throughout making it very easy to use. No issues to date. However, the iPad app is still unavailable after many months.
Was good but hasn't worked now for days. Simply won't get beyond the rotating chevron screen saver

Awful, they charge an extortionate amount to bank a cheque saying do it with this app, but when you try it does always rejects the amount even though it is clear in the picture. Absolute con artists
Generally OK but HATE having to use the app to generate codes to access banking on my PC. Preferred the remote keypad. Also, on this day & age of lockdowns and branch closures, why is there no function to be able to pay a cheque in online...it's there on the UK app so why are we behind the curve??? Not impressed.
great app, works well, but could do with being worked on, and things added. However, it's definitely handy to be able to check funds on the go, and easy to use once you get used to it.
Cannot get past activation screen because a text message with a security code is never sent. Natwest customer support suggest that my mobile provider is not allowing the text messages to be sent to me from natwest. my mobile provider is not blocking any messages and I can get activation security codes for any other service or app. Natwest isn't really the easy online banking bank they promise to be, surely not there to help either. Theres no point contacting support AGAIN.......
It won't let me on to my accounts on my new phone at all. I know my details are correct because I've just logged in on the computer fine but it keeps telling me they're wrong. Tried about 20 times now and still can't get on.
No FREEZE card function Any bank issuing cards should have it. Even a card verification app is missing! Either one or the ither is urgently needed. Severe security issues since anyone could use your card for online purchases.
Dave Orton Absolutely frustrating and useless. Tried to get in ten times and each time told my info is incorrect! Is it Android which is the problem? It seems that the problem is if you are on ibanking.
Great app but since the last update the transactional view on each account is highly confusing with a restatement of the balance under each transaction. Just makes the whole thing look a mess and not easy to read your transactions at a glance. Classic example of making something more complex when it doesn't need to be.
