I have to reset my password everytime I log in. It's not that I forget it, the app just doesn't recognize it. Event if I copy it when I make it and save it in a note. When I try to log in again, it says it's wrong. The app is a little tricky to navigate when changing payments, but for the most part it's really good

I've been able to access my account with this app a grand total of ONE time since I installed it about 2 weeks ago. Since then, every single time I try to open the app, it lets me log in but then instantly gives an error message that says "We're sorry, but an unexpected error has occurred. The application will now close. Please re-open the app to continue." I've uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted my phone, etc. It is just plain BROKEN and I need it to work to file my taxes. Terrible app.

So disappointed! For years I have been using this app to manage payments on my phone. Worked fine on my iphone in the past. Switched to android Pixel 3xl and worked great for the first few weeks of Dec/Jan. Mid Jan it was crashing every single time I tried to log in. Fatal error pops up and says you must restart the app. So guess what I did... What it said to! Still crashes. I have tried restarting, force quiting, cleared apps cache, uninstalled & reinstalled. Even emailed them & got no response!

Update Feb 2021 - After downloading and installing this app again to see if the login issue may have been solved on the backend, I discovered that it was. I actually can login again and make payments like before. Don't know why it took months to get this working again. Can't login to my account at all even when using the correct username and password like on the website. This app is broken and needs to be fixed.

I've had did app for a few months and everything was going smoothly, no problems what so ever. Just recently the past 2 weeks I started having problems. Everytime I try to login and it says that Navient has stopped working. I have tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling and it still wont allow me to log on.

This app is a weak app-based representation of its actual mobile website, which now unfortunately no longer works. It has always been that way, but now it even looks like the login page is failing at the login page (probably a poorly setup DNS redirect???). Giving up on it until I know it's fixed. Creating an "app" that just accesses the web page via Chrome shouldn't ever qualify it as an app, and honestly this app shouldn't exist based on that.

App hasn't been updated since early 2019. Navient loans app used to work before March of 2019, hasn't been updated since. Its clear navient has given up on this app. Its probably abandoned. Don't waste your time downloading. The app won't even open. A message appears stating: "An unexpected error occurred, the application will close now, please re-open app to continue." Then when you close and re-open the same message appears. Just go to the website.

App simply does not work. Same connection error message as other reviews mentioned for days now. These student loan debt repayment interfaces seems intentionally antiquated to discourage on time payments. At the bare minimum, you should be able to open the app. Website works but again, not user friendly, filled with redirect loops, a chat AI unable to respond very basic questions and most every solution ultimately is to call them. Seriously, allocate more resources to these platforms already.

Everytime I go to login with this mobile app it always gives me an error such as "account not found" or "credentials not valid." This is absolutely the biggest joke of an app on the entirety of the Google Play store. The developers should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. Don't waste your time on this complete mess. I guess they don't want to make payback convenient via a mobile application. Be better Navient.

I now can no longer log into my account. Somehow the requested URL was rejected. And asked me to please consult with your administrator. I have called customer and they weren't much help. Not sure what to do. I utilize the app and was told to use the website version. I'm not comfortable using the website the app is better for me wish that is works. There a support Id number. This is the reason for the low rating. I have never experienced this before.

Navient seems to have a very bad problem lately with their logins not working properly. Doesn't matter if its via website, through email links, or now the app. I had to install the app in order to make my payment yesterday (September payment, not a late payment), but today it gives an error message just like all other avenues tried.

I can never access the account. Today I have tried 10 times to pay my bill and as soon as I log in it say unexpected error has occurred and logs me immediately out. This is not a one time only indecent. It happens every single time. It's extremely frustrating and annoying.

Any time I open the app, it immediately crashes. Uninstall/reinstall didn't help, & it happens on multiple different phones. "We're sorry but an unexpected error has occurred. The application will now close. Please re-open the app to continue."

Same as everyone else. Brand new Samsung S20. Uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared cache and data, rebooted phone, all the standard troubleshooting actions and still no change. The app is broken. Period. Deleting it off my phone so it doesn't waste my memory space. I have pictures of my cat I'd rather save.

In attempting to log into this app I got an error message stating that I wasn't connected to the internet, even though I was. Tried it again over the weekend and received the same error message. Tried again today and received the same message. Please fix this app, because I'm not the only individual having this issue.

The app crashes as it attempts to open on the first try. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it crashes every time I try to open it. Makes good business sense to get those interest payments rolling in. Free money to be made if you would only take it from me.

Terrible - not compatible with my phone. I have downloaded it three times and every time I try to open the app - not log in, just OPEN it - the application crashes and I get an error message that reads "cannot open app - please close and try again". DON'T BOTHER - you probably won't be able to get any farther than I did.

i can't remember the last time i was able to get on the app. Everytime i open it, it comes up with an error message. I've tried force stopping the app, I've tried uninatalling and reinstalling, I have even e-mailed support with no response!

Phone: Note 8 After I installed the most recent batch of updates for my Note 8, I had to reinstall the app in order for it to log in, otherwise it crashed immediately after attempted login. Post-reinstall it works just fine. I would appreciate a 2FA option that doesn't include entering my SSN and DOB on a whim though. It's supremely unwise from a security perspective to require SPII entry as a 2FA method for a mobile app. There are much better ways to handle this.

I used to love this app!! But for the last month, when I try top log in, all I get is "an unexpected error has occurred". Tried deleting from phone and reinstalling, nothing changed. Maybe if this gets fixed I'll change my review but until then...

You would think that a company which is sole purpose is to collect billions of dollars in debt would have the funds to fix an app which gives you the ability to pay them back. It's been almost a year and they still haven't fixed the issue or provide any feed back. It's just incompetence at its finest After almost two years and the app is still broken

does not open on my phone. I click on the app, and it gives me black screen that says an unexpected error has occurred. please reopen the app... but it does not open. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and it still does not work.

Why would you even make an app that doesn't work? I've been trying to sign in for an hour now and it just keeps crashing. I mean the bar was set so low for you it was literally buried in the ground but you still managed to clothesline the darn thing so hard the app broke.

"Unexpected Error". App closes automatically when opened with an error. Was working fine for a longtime, and suddenly the started happening about a month ago. Tried reinstalling. Still "Unexpected Error". So app is unusable. Have a Moto X4.

For the past few months this app has been completely non-functional. Glitches every time I open the app make it totally unusable. I tried deleting and redownloading as recently as this morning. The fact that this has been an issue for MONTHS during a PANDEMIC when I need access to the app to avoid delinquency is completely unacceptable. To be honest, this app is an embarrassment.

I cant even open the app for use. It looks like it's loads correctly but crashes before I can even sign in. Keep receiving an error suggesting to reload the app but doing so does not solve the problem. Neither does uninstalling/reinstalling. Pretty useless.

Can't even open the app anymore. Tried force closing, restarting the phone, powering the phone off and on, with or without mobile data, but just get a stupid message that something went wrong and to restart the app, which doesn't work

As soon as I attempt to launch the app it crashes with an error message that says "We're sorry, but an unexpected error had occurred. The application will close. Please re-open the app to continue.". It's in a repeated loop of this.
