Navigation & Maps : shortcut

i like this app but a recent change is for the worse. When you check another app, or actually when it pops up,such as a reminder, it minimizes the navigator app window. You used to be able to double tap the small window to bring it back full screen, but that does not work anymore. You now have to look for a tiny expand icon and hit it exactly to get the full screen back. This is a safety hazard, because you are forced to look at it much longer while driving. Please fix. I use a android phone.

Good, with areas for improvement. This would be my primary route app if I hadn’t already invested in a Garmin. As it is, this is a great backup, and will now be my go-to travel navigation app rather than packing the Garmin. Also, once the Garmin is done, I won’t need to replace it. As for areas of improvement. 1. Really need to be able to save download maps to an external card. The option to do so is there but does not work. Plenty of room on the SD card, but they just don’t transfer. 2. Exclamation point for traffic delays…The map shows you to the delay area on the map, which is cool. Suggest returning to “Center” when you close the dialog box rather than staying on the delay part of the map. Also, suggest if alternate route if indicated. 3. Larger bottom/information part of the screen. Speed numbers too small for my old eyes. At least half again as tall. 4. Unable to change voice setting. No big deal as default if fine. But don’t offer if non-functional. 5. Add highway (motorway) rest stops to “search” function when following route. Well done. Looking forward to future improvements.

I do not like the changes that have been made. It's only convient if you're driving alone. If a call comes in and you have ear buds in, it automatically connects to your car and because of the "safety feature" you cannot click on the call to pair it with your ear buds. You literally would have to close out the entire app just to connect your buds. I feel like that is more of a distraction if you're driving. I do not recommend to accept a private call with people in your car while using this app

This app was great at one point but now it keeps saying it is searching for GPS when I clearly have signal. Then il be driving and all of a sudden it shows the curser standing still and I have to quit it and restart it so it will restart itself to tell me where to go. Please fix the app I don't know why all of a sudden there are problems

what happened? i got a Galaxy note 8 after years of note 3 & NAVIGATION not the same. Navigation no longer has settings, no longer opens to screen with my list of contacts addresses, or a place for my home and work, favorites, etc. It doesn't really do anything except open Google maps. i don't need it for that.if you can help me oil change back to a 5 star

Consumer Fraud! Bait/Switch consumer scam. Downloaded "free" "Navigation" to Galaxy Watch & Phone as "free" app that says: "Navigation & Maps will launch your navigation option with maps with access to "Free" & accurate navigation with worldwide GPS map coverage."Free" voice navigation & voices & languages" Went to use it & wants to download it now on phone. Downloaded it. Tapped watch on "Navigation", redirected to "Navigation Pro: Google Maps Navi on Samsung Watch" app for $2.99. not "free"!!

It will get you close. Sometimes it's accurate and gets you exactly where you need to be. BUT I can't turn on to roads that don't exist. And I'd prefer it if it didn't try to make me drive over curbs, off-road, and through fencing to get to a road that happens to be nearby. I live in my state's capital city, it isn't necessary to drive off-road to get anywhere.

I paid for it but didn't install it after I read all the outrageous permissions it required. Why does a navigation app need access to my contacts and messages and make phone calls and record video and turn off my Do Not Disturb etc etc??? I've noticed a lot of watch apps make similar demands. Why?

This app's very functional,&extremely accurate (generally),but it accesses your calling information when it's active(your #, & the #s that you call,& that call you).It does indeed sell all this information,also. There's no navigation app available that's as accurate,which doesn not do the same thing(sales of your info).There's apps which bosses of companies tell you to buy,because of 'X, Y, & Z...' but they're not nearly as accurate in real time navigation.There's an app nitch for developers!!!

I use this tool every time I travel. Consistently wrong and a pain to use. Check the no tolls box or any preferred methods and it does not apply them.

The recent upgrade is dreadful. It takes me off course. Are you targeting people? intentionally trying to make life miserable for some? Get rid of this ineffective upgrade!

Google navigation has turned from best to worst......its completely useless for the purpose. For all issues only solution from group is to clean cache and bla bla... Heading Nokia way

About a month ago it changed, taking me a different way. Doesn't recognize a street by my house. I keep giving feedback to no avail. Giving me screwy directions at other times too. This all just started recently like they changed something.

Easy to and start use quickly. Very informative, and directs you in and out of traffic. I had not heard of it until my Boost agent Ali downloaded it for my travel over night.

I didn't ask to have my original uninstalled navigator and replaced with shortcut. I want my original navigator reinstalled. Thanks.

Can't"start" map directions ..only let me preview. Uninstall..I use MapQuest worked first time I tried it ... user-friendly.

This app doesn't take me to where the exact destination, instead it'll take me all around town, and then it will re-route it self and it finally take me to my destination

I cant use it, at all I always get "Unfortunately current map has stopped" it's really ticking me off, Google Maps gives me same issue. . .does anyone have any advise as to How I can use it? PLEASE??

UNINSTALL . No need for this as you can now navigate straight from google maps. Free up some space and uninstall it.

Cant open. This app no longer opens. As soon as you click on it, it automatically closed

this is very good and useful app.. plz add multiple navigation app option to drive mod.. here navigation... navimap etc.

It is all missed up. Driving is backwards and a 10 minute drive it says is 4 hours 18 minutes. Its bad.

I've always relied on thus app. But now the voice is removed and it's useless.
