Useless app. It's much better to just use mobile for navigation. This app will only show notifications which doesn't help much.
What a fantastic app! When first installed, GTR support was not present. The developer added functionality almost immediately, and the app has worked perfectly for me. The developer is conscientious and accessible. And the app adds excellent functionality that the Amazfit devices would not otherwise have regarding turn by turn map notifications. Regarding Maps navigation, this app makes my GTR perform exactly as the Apple and Samsung watch. Great app, very happy with performance!
It kind of does what advertised - takes gmaps notification and shows it on watch. However, I tried using it with a trex as the dev mentioned in another review's response that it works if I select GTR. However, it's showing the notification from 'App' and also shows 'App' in the title .. which already takes up half the screen space with useless text. And then the real information was too long and got shown in a scrolling text. If the dev could get it to work like in the screenshot of the GTR, I'll buy again. Right now it's not usable on the T-Rex though.
really nice app that functions as it should..quick and easy to set up and works for the most part flawlessly. 3 issues, notifications sent to watch sometimes have a delay and show up nearly to late, watch vibration too short almost dont notice (I'm sure this may have to do with watch no program), And on watch I have the distance set to miles and notification says destination distance with little checkered flag inaccurate (for example, deatination is 1.7 miles away, but reads 173 feet)
So now even though I Uninstalled the app, everytime I use Google maps to navigate, my Amazfit T Rex re-synch's to the default watchface at EVERY turn, over and over again- the reason why I uninstalled the app in the first place! It won't stop doing it now unless I turn OFF notifications from Google Maps, even after uninstalling it. DON'T INSTALL THIS APP - You won't get rid of the mess it makes even by uninstalling it! Update: it changes my watchface INSTEAD of sending the notification!
Not worthy. It is not turn by turn navigation as it seems from pictures. You only get notifications from your phone which stays displayed even after the turn. So you always need to touch the watch to get another direction. In the end there's hundreds of unread notifications. Useless at least on Amazefit GTS 2.
WASTE OF COST., -its a navigator, wow- when I start navigation, it shows notification of watch after I reach the destination it shows reached... thats it.. this is not a navigator 😡. Cheap notification app... - And my mobile strucks while using after installing this app. Shows Navigaor for Amazefit not responding message. - I'm gonna uninstall the application.. I know I'm not get refunded for this, but I do for my phone's good..
I cannot get this app to connect to my Amazfit GTR. Followed instructions deleted and reinstalled, checked Maps is OK. All functions ok except it is still not connecting. No support from Amazfit Maps. Still waiting for reply (more than 2 weeks) from developer to my email.
Not getting notification as the app promised. i have raised a request Ticket #1039df6ebf11f784 still i didn't get any response. i have done each and every step still the app is not working. Update : i have received a email concerning my problem. So people using amazMod will have to wait for the next update for the working of amazfit map app update 2: i have received another email from the developer and with new update map app is working with amazmod service. Thank you soo much for the update.
the app is awesome. it works very well. no complains. i just want to suggest that it would be really good if it works with Moovit, because sometimes I'm in a bus and when i drop it i have to set de route again but in gmaps
Works as advertised (GTS). Setting up is some work, but this is due to the (extreme) battery optimizations of my Samsung. Nice problem solver functionality in case it does not work!
when watch is locked, the notification display is not pretty as advertised. Kind of disapointed because the only job of this app is handling google maps notification. The main reason I purchase this app is I thought it could display notification prettier than other apps.
It is work perfect on my Amazfit Pace. This apps very helpful, just open gmap and navigate it somewhere then my watch will notif the direction. I don't need to stick my phone on car windows anymore.
The app is working, but show in Ng direction with a big delay,and text messages are not really help. Have applied for refund
Used the similar app for amazfit bip, worked smoothly. Few days ago got my GTS and downloaded the corresponding app but unfortunately it's not working. Tried with notify and fitness, amazfit app (oficial) - nothing. Sent an email to the support team but no one got back to me. Disappointed GTS user.
It only works once after installed. After that no more response at all even l link with my Amazfit Stratos. I tried to uninstall then install back also didnt work. I have paid for it. Disappointed. I have not received any reply at all. Very dissatisfied.
It was working fine, but suddenly it stopped. Now I'm unable to connect to watch. Dropped email to developer, but no response.
I bought this app for the full screen on my stratos watch with driving directions. But I only get a small message. I'm using the amazmod app. Do I have to configure some settings to get the full screen notification?
App works but I bought this app for live continuous map notification on my amazefit pace just like i get on my phone... however this app sends periodic messages intead of providing realtime notification. Can u please help me ?
Very simple with a minimalist interface, but it sure does the trick.
Useless app.. Show notification after 4 or 5 seconds.... I miss my turn twice.. Unusable can't rely on this.
Havent used it just yet. Will report back after bike ride tomorrow. It only gives you option for walk or car from what i read. Can a bike ride be implemented. Thanks
Very useful app, specially for cyclist. Developer is prompt and respond to queries instantly. Highly recommend.
Went thru everything and all chks show ok, but no MAPS. There is no pick for this app. Shows app but no pick for it
Completely unuseful because i cannot sync it with my Amazfit Verge Lite. It' s a pity because in my previous Amazfit Bip it perfectly worked
Works like a charm, most very understand how to setup this app. Now i no need to look at my phone for direction.
Dosent work....instead it stopped all the other notifications on my watch....had to uninstall this and amazfit app and factory reset the watch
Instructions are not accurate; they don't sync up with Zepp, yet app says inst must be followed exactly!??
I'm so sorry for the one star review, but I have to do this to get your attention. I actually wanted to buy the othe navigator app for Mi band but instead paid for this one by mistake. Can you please refund me the amount so that I can buy the other one? That would be really helpful thanks!
