Navigator Lite [Maps Viewer for Galaxy / Gear]

Galaxy Watch here. I originally tried the navigation app that stored on the watch and allowed you to search etc and have offline maps directly on the watch. I did not like this approach at all. I do not need to see the map on my arm as the screen is honestly to small for this. As i always have my phone close at hand and all i wanted was the popups telling me when to turn and distances etc which this does perfectly. I used this extensively when walking around towns in Europe and cycling in Amsterdam where you set walk or cycle in google maps and the watch happily says turn right in 100 meters etc. The only reason i cannot 5 star the app is my watch periodically shows the screen Waiting for Google Maps in phone/tablet when honestly i do not even have google maps running on my phone. This happens sitting at my desk and at the oddest of times. At least 3 to 5 times a day for no reason. It is a simple click to go back to the main screen of the watch but i should not have to do this. If this was fixed its a very easy 5 stars until then 4 stars will have to do because the annoyance factor of this bug is growing daily.

Doesn't work. Just get a message saying "get Navigation phone app from gallery." Downloaded from the App store but won't connect to the watch because "It is necessary to install additional Samsung Accessory Library to use this application" but no clue as to what or how. Try Petal Maps instead. Response to developer response: I'm not an idiot and I've installed it from both Huawei app store and Google Play. The instructions are no help, it doesn't work with Huawei watch and Samsung phone.

Worked well when needed, but constantly turns itself on automatically on my Active 2. Even after turning it off or backing out, it immediately opens itself again. In none of these cases have I even opened Google maps, and the only solution has been to restart the watch. Happens ~6 times a day.

Used it a few times and worked great. Only thing was that it showed a small icon on my watch face "waiting for instructions" or something like that when I wasn't using it. Reinstalled it now and the buggy icon seems to be disappeared. Honestly i'm surprised w/ how good to app actually works. Thank you, devs!

Tried to use it on Samsung Galaxy Note 9. It doesn't connected to my watch. Instead it also took over many things on my phone and even disconnected my watch from my phone whenever I clicked on reconnect. And why on earth do a navigation app needs permission to my photos,storage,contacts etc.

I downloaded this app on my watch and phone but when tried using it, it only worked on phone not watch both were Samsung. Problem did persist I just paid the $3 for navigator pro and worked perfect no issues! Sorry but I don't have time to be sending emails, I'm on the road 10 hours a day, which is why I needed this to work.

This is the most useless navigation app for a tizen watch. It constantly opens it's self on your watch to complain about everything. It is nothing more than a massive waste of battery and constant harassment.

it could be better needs work specially on the turns. left and right the vibrates doesnt really work sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. needs fix besides that it can have 5 stars

Keeps opening on my watch when no map is open on my phone. This now courses massive battery drain is no longer usable. Please fix this

Worked great on my s9+. Got the s21 ultra and it won't recognize that the watch is connected. Tried clearing cache and data with a reinstall a few times with no luck.

UI is great and it does what it says 👍. Worked with smartwatch and instructions and well clear and effective.

Probably can use different color to alarm, also voice and shake when need to turn or stop like phone. Wish better.

It works for me. Active Watch 2 with Tinzen 4.0.0.2. See developer responses below if you have issues, they were helpful for me.

So far working good for me. I noticed that you may have to close the app on the watch if it doesn't work the first time but it's always worked afterwards

the app connects to my galaxy watch but then just says waiting for Google maps app. and never does anything, this app doesnt work

will not install on note 9 (update ) 6/5 tried it again and it worked very good. not sure what happened but it now works

downloaded this app, to use on my galaxy watch but you have to pay £1.99 for the app that gets installed on the watch its self... i think i would rather pay the little extra for the genuine google app myself

The app on the watch won't connect with google maps, even with strong internet connection.

There is no navigator lite app on my galaxy watch 3 but in the description it said that it is comparable with the watch. Pure disappointment

100x better than Navigation Pro from SmartWatchStudios which looks ugly and doesn't work.

Navigator Lite is greatly helpful with my Samsung mobile and Samsung watch. Enjoy using it daily.

Won't acknowledge my phone & watch are connected. Therefor cannot use. This is sad.

Really useful app, had some problems with config, but reading app help solved the issue.

Doesn't work between my DroidZ3 and Gear S3. Won't connect to the phone.
