Navily - The Most Innovative Cruising Guide

An excellent app. Fast making pilot guides obsolete. The info is generally accurate and other navily user comments are very useful; mainly because they are candid and informative. The distance / route planning tool is cumbersome. I would always do my route planning on a proper navigation app but being able to quickly rough distances on navily would be useful.

I like this app & have subscribed. Few suggestions to improve. 1. An option to reverse the route. (So that when planning stages we can just switch the previous end to the beginning) 2. Don't instigate search automatically but do it as a button. (At moment the auto search is irrattating when just planning routes) 3. List previous searches in the route options. 4. Searches themself are quite slow? Other than that love the app.

One of the most amazing apps I've found! Awesome for boating, cruising, exploring, searching for a port or an Anchorage point, etc, both large cruisers and for jet skiing as well! Awesome for assisting to plan a trip etc ! Amazing app! Been on the app searching for Anchorage points around new Zealand! Apsolutely amazing satellite views as well. Very nice clear as well!! Yet to see how Philippines goes here Australia is definitely interesting :-) shipping routes are awesome :-)

Excellent coverage of marinas and anchorages means this is a very helpful companion to the more dry navigational information from other sources. I found the reviews by others helpful in making choices about where to sleep. Although in my cruising grounds anchoring is not so common, I hear from people that the wind/sea shelter information in Navily is very useful if you are exploring new areas. The social aspect of it also attracts me, though I have not used it yet.

This app is terrific. We use it all the time. Moderators, please read the details of a review and look at the geography before merging a review with another in a slightly different area. I say this, but I do appreciate we don't want several anchorages in the same area. It's a fine line. To get around this, notify the writer of the move. If they agree, ok.

Installed the app on my phone and upgraded to Premium but when I log on, on my laptop it wants me to pay the Premium subscription again. I didn't realise you have to pay for every device. Thanks for the reply, be good when Premium is available on the web.

When I first installed this free to use App it was fantastic! Definitely worth 5 stars! BUT . . . then it restricted the tools until you paid for Premium which frankly I didn't mind as it was such a useful app for distances planning and booking marinas ahead. HOWEVER . . . now I'm using premium it is different. ***** Thanks for your call explaining where I was going wrong. Now this app unreservedly gets 5 stars and ALL marinas should sign up to work with Navily! It is so easy to use!

it was a good app, but it will no longer open and updates repeatedly fail to download so it got deleted. Updated review: after posting the previous comments, I was contacted by the developer who got the application working again for me. I appreciate the customer service. Thanks Edouard!

Downloaded the app but have been unable to add a credit card payment method via Google. Tried for an hour and then gave up. Shame everything runs via Google. I'd rather sail with a sextant than give these guys my hard-earned money.

Had an issue, reported it here, Edouard quickly fixed it. Very nice! (Was: keeps crashing, saying"the session has expired" after last update)

Useless application for rent one day boat if you not pay for Premium. Maybe if you have a boat it could help you with the feature that the dev says in the respo se ti my review.(to the dev of course i tried the application and after i have set the way point it ask for money all the feature you listed are useless for my personal use)

The application is good. However the last time I put an anchor spot in it was a mistake. A number of times recently I have found another boat in the spot where there is only room for one. That will teach me a lesson.

Fast becoming one of the most important apps for cruiser. Increasing amount of real time information. The more users the better it will be.

Very useful tool when sailing and want to dock or stay on anchor. Added value - detailed comments by other users. Must have app when sailing!

Nice idea but heavily monitized user generated content. A cruising guide for your area would be miles better.

Very very useful app. Used it extensively on a 14 day UK trip, never let us down.

The worst evee created to make things long and complicated. Horrible in every aspect. Please guys go and do abother job.

Brilliant app, up to date info from sailors and very effective berth booking.

Paid for it and the filter would be nice e if it listed more than 1/10th the marinas.

I found it very useful to search for available anchorages and harbours

A very useful app for sailors who anchor a lot. I wouldn't be without it.
