Edit: Wow. Quick fix. Works on S7. Please do not change until Aug 11 when I'm back from my trip!! US based user Galaxy S8 to Pioneer 2330. Also Galaxy S7. Right now not primary bc AA (lol) doesn't support it (I think) and Pioneer AppRadio needs a lot of work. Because of that there is no sound thru car speakers. Search does get sticky so I look in advance and add to favorites. Love the driving analytics and even the leaderboards. Keep it up folks!
I gave it 4 stars because when I feed destination address it shows street but not the building number.... and it takes me past 2 blocks from my actual address. Why? I tried many addresses but in each case it took me past my actual address. None shows building number. How come? Otherwise the app is super easy and super clear. Good turn by turn voice navigation. Please help?
I have no idea why so many people like this. It's the worst. Can't even find the local post office or cafe. Was recommended on many sites for use as GPS tracker. However, you must put the destination in first which defeats the purpose of a tracker; and even then it does not record the route. Use this if you want to waste a ton of time and get frustrated.
Seems to be improving in reliability to where it was 3 years ago. Has trouble address searching if State is abbreviated or used instead of zipcode. Some roadway suffices are incorrect in the search database. Once those bugs at fixed, I'll update my review.
Update is an improvement, but Search is still wonky. 1) Still unable to route from Contact List--searching it produces results, but app fails to show them on map or create a route. 2) Search box still doesn't recognize common U.S. two-letter state abbreviations.
Used to be a good app. Lately it freezes a lot and gets lost (doesn't seem to follow where my car actually is) Unfortunately it's not usable in the real world - Have uninstalled to regain over a gig of storage.
it was usable before... now it takes five seconds to register each click, and won't save favorites no matter how hard you try. frustrating piece of garbage.
Newest release doesn't work. Locks up constantly. Previous version 3.6.13 works fine. I'll stick with that one until the bugs are worked out.
Southampton NY area's missing and disconnected roads appers fixed. but now if you have more than 2 or more adjoining states loaded, the roads do not get displayed.
I refuse to grant this app access to the photos and media on my phone. Why would a gps app need to have access to my photos and data? I'd give it less than one star if i could for this reason alone.
i drive trucks and this is not a very good gps app. it has sent me down so many roads that are low clearance and imagine having to call the police to block traffic a few times a week just so you can back up and turn around.
Crashes alot. suddenly has become very slow. unusable. Copilot is far superior. So is OSMand.
Does not understand standard abbreviations for states. If it finds an address in your address book that has CA in it, it will say "No results found". You must change the CA to California for it to accept the address. So why does the app all for permission to read you address book?
The purchased voice doesn't actually work with the app. Waze and Google have better short cuts
Tried downloading several times Won't download on my galaxy S7 gets to 100% then starts downloading all over again. Please fix this. Thank you!
Aarow doesn't point direction of travel it points backwards, map doesn't self correct to direction of travel.
Unusuably slow and janky. Too bad, the what3words support would be nice to have.
If you hate this app, everything you hate about it, Magic Earth does the opposite. Do yourself a favor, download Magic Earth. It is free
I would've given zero if I could however not given an option. doesn't work for my country cause this app doesn't have my country in it. useless
it is hard to configure. I paid for, please refund, already removed the app.
Easy to use and very accurate. Best off line gps i have found.
Slow to respond. Slowness makes it difficult to use!
OK nice update, finally pois showing, nice traffic really like this app, please enlarge pois icon if possible
Would not show anything but a blue screen with a dot.
How do you change to imperial measurements - miles instead of kilometers? Can this be done?
This app does not work well in USA
Offline use by a flip phone user experience: does the job very nicely when set up under WIFI. Would however benefit from imbedding a greater variety of search engines than just Foursquare or what 3 words which reliably come up with no results. NavFree used to include Google which helped. Going outside the app to search an address then paste it to the maps app seems an unnecessary fiddling that is worth a support fix. Thank you for this very useful offline navigation tool.
