I'm usually happy w/ NFCU Mobile app. Had it on multiple phones. Been using it for a decade. Last month, I could see MY WHOLE transaction history. Now, I can only see 2 months of transactions. Tried combined statement feature and don't have access because there is a new level of security that did not exist 17 years ago. Upgrade fail. Electronic statements do not replace transaction history. I can't easily scan multiple statements 2 find transactions.

The app for whatever reason does not open and I am forced uninstall and reinstall the app after about 2 weeks of use. This is been about 6 or 7xs I have been doing this. Honestly this stage of the game it is getting old. It always happens after they "update" the app. I expect this to be fixed and not happen again if it does then I am not going to download the app again. I wanted to update and state the crashing issue still has not been resolved. Same issue still not resolved.

It does its job and has a good looking interface. I'm a supporter of Navy Federal and plan on staying with them for life. However there are times the app seems to refuse to wanna show your FICO score when it has no issue doing it on a desktop. A chunk of the bugs from the past are gone so that shows they are making improvements.

Does the job well. Been using it for 10 years but recently noticed how when the app is in the background, it doesn't hide banking details when switching between apps and that's a serious concern. After using the button on the phone to switch to another app, all information of the previous screen is still up - in most cases it's accounts and current balances on those accounts. This needs correction asap. Also - mobile app email in developer contact is broken.

What happened? This app worked fine until a while back when I did an update after that I kept getting" Navy Federal has stopped working" I reinstalled 3 times then gave up, After 2 months still no success! can't believe this has gone on for so long. This happened again, every time I update this happens. I've never had so much trouble with an app.

Navy Federal always gets 5 stars from me, but since the last update, I can't do mobile deposits. The screen freezes when you try to take a picture of the check, or the app completely restarts. Update 2/11/22: they fixed the mobile deposit issue for a while.. Now, when you try to make a deposit, the app gives an error message: " it seems your device does not support camera or it is locked, the app will be closed." This is old and incredibly frustrating

Please get rid of the "Your session is about to time out" notification or at least make it optional. It's annoying and serves no useful purpose but to interrupt my work flow when I've moved on to a different app. The app should just time out on its own without notification when left in the background. This is the only app on my phone that does this and it drives me nuts

The mobile deposit has been broken for what seems like at least a year, and multiple "updates" haven't addressed it at all. Edit: They have asked me to try again and the app is still broken; only now, it tells me "you device doesn't support camera". So not only is it still broken, it now has basic grammatical errors. Cool. It's been over a year since I've been able to use the mobile deposit. -10/5 stars.

I'm home joining the long queue of folks who have the same problem - camera is not supported by the app for mobile deposit and will close. I've only occasionally had issues with the app over the years but this one is really sending me over the edge. I, too, marked a check with "for E-deposit only @ NFCU" and so now it seems it's a worthless check...

It's so frustrating when this app is not opening. So frustrating. Especially when ur in a store and u want to transfer money, but to pay for your stuff, but it wont open. It's so annoying. Everything is ok, but this is the only problem. Ok now it's getting really annoying. It's too much. I can't freaken open it. It took hours now.

Echoing what's going on here with all the problems after the latest update. For me the app won't even open, deleted and re-installed a few times and nothing. Just crashes as soon as screen turns blue. Not sure if you just updated past my phones operating system, but this is the only app that just doesn't work anymore on my phone. Give me back the old version please.

Really convenient. You do have to call Navy Federal to get you logged in for safety and security. But I'm wishing I did alot sooner. Everything is right their .no more guessing what's in the bank. Also options for home loans, bill pay ,credit check,and credit score, money management, and lots more. Transfers take no time at all. I'm happy I finally logged in to Navy Federal app. Had them for ever. And this makes it that much more personal.

At least 40% of the time ask gives me error message before I even try to login and I end up having to close it and reopen. I've never had any app on any phone give me this much problem...I have a Samsung Galaxy a42, but when it works, it works great. Developers need to do a major troubleshoot for the constant bugs.

I liked the app very much until the most recent update. The latest update broke the mobile deposit function. When trying to take a picture of the check for deposit , the app displays the message, ".....that you device does not support camera (or it is locked). Application will be closed." Yes, the message does read "you" not "your. " Very disappointing NFCU IT department. Please fix what you've broken.

App doesn't work if you"remember device" and enable 4 digit code. Only works if you sign in like it's the first time, complete 2 step verification and then specifically say you don't want the app to remember your phone. This wouldn't bother me if the app stopped prompting me to remember the phone. It's an annoying extra step in a process of already extra steps that hints at a better way to sign in but can't be pulled off by the app programers.

A few months ago, I started having problems with mobile deposit. Although a fix was released and I'm now able to access the camera, I'm now getting the message that the check images are not clear, although they are. So I'm still unable to make a deposit via my phone. Also, I wish the app had subaccountsand features for budgeting. Other than that, the app does what it should.

Latest "update" is HORRIBLE. The app was overall good the last year or so (a few years ago it was terrible too). I can't make a deposit because it says my camera is locked. Huh??? I can't log in with my fingerprint OR my password. I have had to uninstall and reinstall the app SEVERAL times and it STILL doesn't work. You are messing with people's access to their money and ways they deposit money. If this continues i will have to go somewhere else!

Worked great until about 5 months ago when I came back from an underway. Now it just keeps crashing instantly when I open it. I reinstalled it on my note 8 but the same issue is persisting. I feel kind of bad giving a poor review but if the app doesn't work any more people should know about it.

I've been having an issue with mobile deposits for quite awhile now, at least 6 months but it seems longer. After one of the updates I can't make mobile deposits anymore. There's an issue w my camera. I have sent multiple tickets to support and even called with no help. Ive deleted & reinstalled the app multiple times with no success. The last representative was rude and just decided that the issue was w my phone, then I get on here and see that it's not just my phone, it's an actual issue.

I've generally enjoyed using this app for many years. However, recently the mobile deposit functionality has stopped working. The error that I get tells me that the application does not have the required permission to use the camera. I've verified that this app does have permission to use the camera. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the app and verified that I have the most recent version of the app. I've also contacted NFCU to report the problem. Wish they could get this fixed.

Ive been using this app for years. I love it, however, the most recent update has removed the 'Sign Out' option that was accessible through the "more" ellipsis, or anywhere for that matter. I no longer feel that accessing my banking info is secure if I do not have a reliable way of ending my session.

***Update - After new forced update, check deposit is broken. Photos can no longer be taken. They have major issues managing a mobile app. Must go through 2 step verification every single login. NFCU suggests going into settings to turn this off. If I go to change this setting, the app crashes. App often crashes during mobile deposits. The app is becoming unusable. UPDATE 30 May: No fix has been made. The app is broken and NFCU will not fix. Multiple calls and messages have been made.

The best banking app I've used as far as user interface and navigating the app. But, about 40% of the time, the app doesn't work. It's a gamble going to check my account because the app may or may not work. Always receiving the message "experiencing technical difficulties please retry later"

App was decent enough. However, recently I cannot deposit checks. The app will not take pictures even though I allowed access by my phone. Camera freezes on check and will not let me accept the picture. Fixed issue but now says numbers are blurry when I can clearly read them. Annoying that something that worked for years is now garbage. It's been months since deposit has worked and it is what I use the bank for. At this rate, I will be switching banks.

I.DO.NOT.TRUST.THEM.WITH.MY.MONEY!!! Absolutely horrible. They have deleted my biometrics more than 5 times. I log in once every few months. I have to call in to access my account EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. It is absolutely useless, inconvenient, and completely frustrating. AND THEY KNOW BUT REFUSE TO FIX IT! I really hate Navy Federal. I have not found a single thing they do well yet.
