Looks like it could be really useful if it actually worked! This pathetic app crashed every single time I tried to use it. I never got to hear a single note of music. Don't waste your time. update: i got the latest version with my new samsung phone and it now works sometimes but is still very slow and unreliable. It works intermittently about half the time. rest of the time it doesn't work at all.
This app is junk. I got it hooked up with the help of the local library, but it kept stopping every 10 minutes or so, at least after whichever short prelude by Chopin I was listening to had just ended. But then it stopped right in the middle of a Rachmaninov symphonic movement, which is ridiculous. I went back to streaming from the local library's site directly, and had no such problems.
This update still does not solve the problems encountered before. It does not stream properly with android systems. It still keeps stopping after each song/piece. You cannot operate the app from your blue tooth head set like you can with Spotify and other apps. All in all great content but still a lousy app that android users should stear clear of until they fix it properly.
crashes and freezes a lot. literally cant even figure out how to play an album or song that I want. sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't. no way to tell what is in queue. very disappointing. i had high hopes of using this in my teaching studio and for personal use, but i dont think that is going to happen.
I've never used an app that freezes as much as this one does. Every few seconds or minutes (if I'm lucky) the app just stops working and crashes sometimes. It's awful, especially for an app that depends on a constant stream of music to be enjoyed. Wow!
The app is unusable. Frequent crashes, broken search function, randomly starts playing music after phone calls and software updates. If I didn't love the music so much I'd have uninstalled it a year ago.
For a music app it doesn't work very well. Consistently stops playing or crashes. It's unfortunate because they have terrific library. Hopefully they will fix it quickly.
This app does not work. I search for a specific artist and it brings me back to the new albums. I play a new album and it logs out. Embarrassing, considering it's a paid service.
Keeps crashing on my phone. Sometimes the things i search for aren't here. Because maybe one word or letter or even written Different than the textbook has it. That's frustrating. Mainly keeps crashing. Hard to study like that
I like this. I initially had the problems others had about the app freezing on android. I contacted Naxos who were very helpful and by not optimizing the battery on the app the problem is 95% cured
Huge space of improvement. The app should run more smoothly without too much loading. Wish can have a download interface in the background, also a better sharing system.
The NML app doesn't work anymore. Whenever you try to log in, you get a message stating that the maximum number of connections has been reached for your account, about too many logins being active preventing you from accessing your account.
Great upgrades to the user interface but it crashes so often it is basically unusable. I have uninstalled it for now and hope for the best with Chrome.
Keeps crushing and giving login issues. Definitely needs to be redesigned. Many bugs and almost never working correctly. Could be 100 times better!
this app is an embarrassment. keeps on crashing and search is inadequate. Naxos music library, get your act together! For an app connecting mobile to a paid service it is not acceptable.
I love the NML app! I can get to my playlists with ease and greatly appreciate the new offline playback feature. I stream classical music now on my way to work!
I've always loved this app, even through all the crashes. Hopefully this 2.0 update will fix many of those issues. In general, this app does a FANTASTIC job at presenting a diverse and evolving catalogue of classical music in a visually appealing manner. Albums flow from top to bottom as they should! I much prefer it to designs of Spotify and Quboz. Thank you for making this much needed update and equiping NML for the modern age. Long live BACH
