NBC Bay Area

It's good for the news pushes, however the weather part is now lacking after the last update. Unless you go into the app, and even then sometimes the weather part doesn't update even then. And it's mostly on the notification screen that this is appearing too, not in the actual app. It'll update the information inside the app, however outside of it, that's a different story.

Up to the minute news and weather. Since I watch NBC in the a.m., this is a great way to get the late breaking! The only news channel with Storm Ranger so weather is right on the money. After months of enjoying the news, all of the sudden it scrunches up and becomes unreadabke. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and have the same results. Maybe it's time to seek other bay area news as it happens. Too bad.

Crumb! I wish I wouldn't have installed the may 28,2020 update! Now, the interactive weather map is only in dark gray/black, & you can't use it! I even turned off android "dark mode" but it still doesn't looking/work right. Interactive weather map was a favorite part of the app. Please fix!

This app does its job but is poorly programmed. The alerts do not show full text, and opening them you will not see the headline text at all. Performance is very sluggish. Looks like the chief one day came to the staff meeting and said "i hear apps are the thing to do these days, so you over there, you code an app for us"

Great app. If you sign up for alerts they only send you important stories and not junk. Alerts will also be sent to your Droid gear. I haven't tried to see if you can read the whole article on the Gear though. Overall I highly recommend!

When I installed the NBC Bay Area News app when I downloaded the NBC Bay Area News app I was trying to get ahold of the investigative we respond unit and still have been unable to get a direct phone number and to call them so this is disturbing to me and so far I have not been able to see it in print so thank you bye bye

My experience with this app is a valuable one. I like being informed...from news, alerts, to weather, to specialty segments...NBC Bay Area is #1 for me and has been for decades. Thank You

I've been using this app since its original release. I love being able to get weather in an instant or updates on stories (such as the wildfires here). EDIT: NOPE!!! hate, Hate, HATE THE NEW FORMAT!!!! WHY DID YOU GUYS SCREW IT ALL UP????

Easy to use All features like daily weather, hours and 7 days forecast are at front page. Thanks I like to have DATE next to current temperature

Love our local news. Push alerts are a wonderful way to stay current even with a busy schedule. Keep up the great work!

I like the fact i can go to this app and see all updated info in local areas and see whats happening else where and not having to wait for the 5:00 news.

We had to move out of state, because of the high rent This app gives me a chance to keep up with whats happening in the bay area and surrounding county's

Why is the app showing me articles from 2014? Also still playying sound in background of some articles no way to turn off or pause

Excellent app for Local News. Although I rarely watch KNTV, this app is the BEST for SF Bay Area, not like ABC7 San Francisco app which is junk.

It informs me immediately if something happens or is taking place in towns/cities I am interested in. They cover and follow the lastest news and report what matters most. I get news that is important.

This is great keeping up with the the bay area news on my phone when I don't have the time to sit and watch TV.

I like the app but can not see it when i get home becuz of our sister company Xfinty no wifi so when that section of the lights went out it cut us off for going on the internet.

Dates are wrong. Daily weather has wrong dates, how can I trust app that can't even have correct dates?!

I LOVE the new dark theme and re-org. The GUI is so much cleaner. Thanks for the update!

I really love the app, it helps me stay up to date. If I miss something or need more information I just go to the app.

I use the app when away from TV'S. It provides a great way to stay tuned in.

I like the fact I get both local and national news whenever I want to watch it.

The news comes quick as possible & objective as a news should be.
