NBC10 Philadelphia

The redesign of the app was poorly done (to be kind). Perhaps my biggest complaint is clicking to expand videos to make them full-screen doesn't work. But that's just the start. The weather status bar in your notifications was removed with the redesign and sometimes when I click a notification the app opens to the last story I read instead of the new story. What a mess.

NBC10 weather forecasts (also for 10 days ahead forecasts!)& Includes hour to hour daily forecasts, are the most accurate and filled with information about the days weather, it always includes % of humidity and the Dew Point index... very important and helpful. BUT... after the latest update I can no longer see the temperature displayed in my discover bar! I now have to open the app itself just to get the basic temperature reading... very very inconvenient and annoying.

I downloaded it for weather & that was fine. The traffic alerts seem to work. BUT The "news" videos further down the page were undated & sometimes 7+ days old, leading to confusion. Plus I'd be trying to read an article further down the page & audio from a sports segment would start w/out request.

The app pads the site with old news stories, some even two years old. Confusing and lazy editing

I am very upset that with the newest update I am not able to have the temperature in my notifications bar. That is the main reason I continue to have this app (besides I find NBC forecasting more accurate than others). I will consider revising my review if this issue gets fixed, but it is not worth it for me to have to open the app to check the current temperature, I prefer to see it without having to even unlock my phone

Uninstalling, for style and substance. Style: notifications are ALWAYS IN ALL CAPS. Please don't yell. Substance: I just opened a news story and got an invisible video (or just an audio) ad that I could not stop, mute, or otherwise control. An auto-play voice, loud, when I neither wanted nor expected it.

Runs too many stories as videos, rehashed from that day's news broadcast, rather than an article you can read. Also, they apparently have comment sections for each article but since changing formats, don't permit comments to be posted. Check it out for yourself on the most controversial or viral stories.. very strange that there are NEVER comments any more. Mostimportantly, this app. constantly has issues with loading or staying loaded. multiple times a week, I get the app not responding message.

I personally love this app but it could actually use an update. The interface of the app can be improved but NBC 10 should keep on with the great reliable news and alerts. I expected it to be a little bit up to date with the new phones.

I don't like the fact that an invisible Ad plays on my phone when I open an article. I even have the Autoplay feature turned off and it it still does it. Im uninstalling.

Have used the original version for years. Downloaded the new version to get new features touted by Steve Sosna. But there is no Help button to tell about using the features. The old app new where in Philly I live, but this one doesn't and there is no way to input a Zip Code. Also, WHAT IS THE RED DOT? I always wanted to know that. I can't find any Help page online either. The app has been foisted on us before it's ready. So disappointed!!

I love the detailed weather reports up to the minute what is happening. i like the neighborhood weather reports, especially. Also the stories detailing what is going on in the city & suburbs.

Love this app!!! Especially reports from Hurricane Schwartz! It's really disappointing the current temperature and weather conditions are not posted on my icon bar anymore. It was something I used on a daily basis!

I like getting news and weather information but when I click on a notification the app opens on full brightness on my Galaxy S9 even though I have my phones brightness set to under 50%. The app also drains the phones battery while running in the background.

Very easy to use. When I get a notification, it will go quickly to the article. I also like the weather status on my notification settings. Great app

I'd give this app 6 stars. NBC10 Philadelphia is the one and only accurate app when it comes to weather in Philadelphia. There's nothing worse then getting caught in the middle of a surprise storm, with this app you will see it coming. With the weather as unpredictable as it is in Philadelphia, you need an app that you can rely on. You could trust this app.

This app is only good if you live in phily. I thought it suppose to cover the tri state. Besides always freezing up and vidios dont work most of the time. Fix your bugs out!. Apperently they updated this app again. Whoever had done this shouldent even have a job. I am getting rid of this app and dont recommend anyone use it

It cuts out all the time..give you a viewing of 5 mins then cuts out asking for carrier..if its am app why you need a carrier that's the purpose..when I give my carrier ot doesnt allows me to get in🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️..useless..notifications are good but cant watch the news live

Not available for Android TV. It's pretty ridiculous that the app for a TELEVISION news station isn't available for Android TV. All I wanted was to watch the live stream on my living room TV, but this app can't be directly installed on the Nvidia Shield. SMH

None of the videos play and my notifications are delayed. I've deleted and uninstalled this app twice to no avail. I'm done!

Great app, works as intended. Weather part is especially high quality and great about alerts. I have the big 3 local Philly news apps and this one works the best all around by far.

It's an ok app, but the weather notification on my notification bar only shows weather for philadelphia. regardless of how many times i set it to where i live, i still get weather for philly. why would i want weather for a state i don't even live in???

Ease of use for blind users is excellent! App provides essential news and information in several categories. Also you can watch the full line-up of shows on NBC 10.

Whenever I need to know what is going on. I just open my NBC10 App and I get up to date news on the spot. And the weather alerts, I can go on and on . Great job all of you especially my morning crew.

Got rid of the bar for the weather at the top of my notification screen. I liked that there and now it's just gone with this new update. Don't like it

crashes on the second page of setup every time I try to use it. Two updates later and nothing has changed.
